Sorry to hear about your car grant... who knows maybe karma will help you out with getting the 34 gtr somehow... I was lucky enough to grab one and if you asked me 6 months ago whether i would have owned a gtr in the next 3 years answer would've been no! Also glad to see not much damage around the drivers area, could of been so much worse by the looks of her car.

Once I have the bits off the car I'll contact you, I also just noticed i didn't pay enough attention first off but your car is a coupe mine was a sedan... so exhaust would prob. have to be slightly modified to fit. I'll ask powerplay if they can do that or if its a exhaust place job.

Can you show pics of the condition of the xenon headlights if still available got a friend looking for some decent condition ones.

Firstly, depending on your budget I would suggest the following workshops that have a fairly good reputation. As with any business you will always have people saying good and bad things about them. PowerPlay Imports (Drummoyne) - I use them for my 34 gtt and now my gtr. Crodyon Racing Developments (Silverwater) - Never used them but my gtr all the work was done by them by previous owner. I'm not sure about any other workshops that are actually in your area so someone else might be able to help and for that blow off sound noise you just need a vent to atmosphere bov which you can buy at any performance workshop or even justjap which are at kirrawee which is nearby sutherland. On a side note i will have alot of quality second hand parts off my 34 gtt for sale soon so if you are interested pm me and i can tell you exactly what there is... powerplay is currently taking them off my car.

Looks like lighting effect but makes it look very velvet like as you say... is it standard black or midnight purple? Either way very nice indeed.

true true lol On your side note to anyone looking at any car but in particular 34 gtr's make sure you get them properly inspected unless you have a fair amount of money to spend repairing them... I looked at dozens of cars and had 2 inspected... one even from a dealer had 12 issues which could of lead to major engine problems the second i bought the car and it was in very good condition very rare in sydney i was told by the workshop but it still had a couple of minor issues which wouldn't have been picked up unless properly looked at. Not to deter anyone of say cheap gtr's are no good but just be weary.

Another reason is that importing one in decent condition at the moment is still fairly expensive... basic gtr around $50k vspec models starting at like $60k and up. So cars already here can ask for higher price but as you mention they aren't selling because people aren't really buying this type of car at the moment as well as banks are very strict on lending amounts over $40k where as before people were borrowing the full amount and getting it fairly easily. I recently snapped up a vspec gtr and got it for a significant discount off list price, If you are really interested in a car throw the person a serious offer.

I'm with www.beagle.com.au apparently they use telstra wholesale which is why i went with them as i literally live 20metres if that from the exchange and when with telstra speed was great but there download limits held me back. When i do the speed test is says i am with ispone wholesale. Got this result today at like midday:

I live in sydney but my isp tells me to use the melbourne speed test thats probably why the ping is low.

Hey, Still got the 4 door, trying to sell it but haven't done anything cept put it on here as yet as not in a major rush yet. Yeah just a little different hey. So if ya know anyone wanting a 4 door check out my for sale thread, i'll even drop the price as i have taken off carbon fibre boot and put the standard rims back on as well... but will be selling the carbon boot and bonnet and ssr rims seperately later on.

Hey, It was me in the white R34 gtr. I spotted heaps of skylines this arvo when i was on my way home along gosford straight... a silver r33 four door with 400r front bar with girl driving, white r33 series 2 pulling into to caltex to fill up when i was waiting to exit. And also the latest addition to the coast a black R34 GTT Sedan with female driver.

Car no longer required got one.

Hi Vincent--TT, I might consider doing that. The bonnet arrived in Melbourne last week so hopefully this week I should get it. Not entirely sure on the weight as i bought it off yahoo auctions japan but it is the Origin brand but there website doesn't specify weights. The boot being a unknown brand it is easily half the weight of the standard one if not more, i know this as i carried both of them. I would say the bonnet is even lighter but can't give accurate details till i receive it. A dealer is looking at trading this car in on a gtr so he might say i can keep this stuff in which case i might sell them individually along with what ever other spares I have. I'll let you know when i know.
