You're kidding me, you guys need to open up a shop down here so we can get some of that going on. I have been told by 2 performance shops down here that I will only get around 350awkw going with the setup above using the 2530's I already have. Was there any head work done?

I already have HKS 2530's but would up grade to these. Is there not a Garrett version as I don't really know what all the hype is about HKS gear. Hey all, I have recentley been convinced to go single turbo. I have a few questions on the brand of product, if its the right choice and if anyone has used the new Garrett T51R turbo. Here's the list of parts Garretts new T51R 1000hp turbo 86.5mm Arias pistons (will these be ok for around 400kw? Scat rods HKS cam gears Cams (thats where I need you guys) N1 Oil pump (will these be ok or do I need a JUN?) Manifold (not sure if I should just used a cheapy or go for something all out? Whats the benefits?) Turbosmart 45mm progate i think thats what it is. Tomei metl head gasket I think thats about it Any help would be great.

So is that an early model supra engine? It looks quite small or is the turbo just huge,haha. Thanks for all the ideas people it is really making things easier with the more options. I looked at a few beemers but I can get gemi and rollas for like 200 bucks, the beemers are all around the 5g's mark so I think I might stay with the little shit boxes at the mo.

Hey all, good to see some positive feedback for once. Still tossing up on what motor (RB for sure) but it will be in a gemi or a rolla (easy to source and if we stuff it we can always get another one). Gearbox, if we have to cut the tunnel then we have to cut the tunnel no biggy, its not going to be registered. The Gtr gearboxes aren't really that big anyway, might be around the same size as V6 Commodore Auto. m3gtr - I already have a GTR pal and so does about 10 other ppl I know but NO one I know or dont know has a gemi/rolla with an RB26 or RB25 in it. 700HP-GTR33 - I did go for the gemis and rolla because they are cheap and easy to find. I have thought about doing things to bemmers but they are to hard to get stuff for and plus they are quite heavy due to all the LUXARY features. Jag are also much to heavy for what I want it for.

No worries Sir RB, thats why I wanted to know, it was a bit of an in the moment thing because I have a full RB30 and a RB26 head sitting there and now my car is going into get rebuilt I need something to do in the mean time. Anyway thanks for the feed back.

haha good to see the quick replys, Yes I am insane and so are my mates, we just put a 454 Big block in a gemi (will be at SummerNats) so now I want to do something stupid. Engineering is overated, all you do is buy a car keep it registered then do all your work to it with out telling anyone, we have had commodore V6's in a Mazda 626 and a Gemini with out anyone knowing. I don't really care how long it takes just as long as it's totally different to anything someone has seen.

Hey all I was wondering how hard it would be to put an RB26/30 in a Gemini, Corolla or something along those lines. I just want something thats different I dont really care what car it goes into aslong as its small and it makes people go "What the F***". I also don't mind what engine it is as long as it's an RB none of the SR20 or CA18 rubbish. So any help as to what car and engine would be a good set up, is much appreciated. Cheers James

I was only going for the ford rims as they are like $20 and I need about 10 of them for the weekend (Performance car mania which is like Easternats), lots of burn out and drifting. Plus they only have to go on the rears thanks to dirtgarage and his 4wd switch. Cheers James

I totally disagree with any of these laws, our cars and drivers are among some of the safest on the roads as we have a passion for the cars and a pride for our driving skills. We are more likely to have our cars checked out when something doesn't feel right (and be able to get it fixed) then some bum bogan driving a steel bodied V8 Kingswood. Im tipping that my GTR would be able to pull up and turn out of stickey situation a lot faster then most P plater cars. Just my 2 cents

Yeah man come up for sure, there is a convoy of people going from my way (SE burbs) leaving on Friday at about 10 so we will be going through your side of town around 10.30ish. I am the only line in the group and it would be sweet to cruise up there with another GTR.

Awesome vid dude, to bad it looks slow but im sure anyone that was in our pack can vouch for us that it wasn't. Especially when we over took the allure girls car and hit the rubbish on the road. You can see a family crossing the road up ahead and when I went passed I got a death stare from the dad. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!
