Are you asking where to buy DVDs of D1 Grand Prix? I assume you're not asking how to use a TV and DVD player? Like Marivs suggested, D1 specials on DVD and VHS are usually on Option, Dorifuto Tengoku, Hot Version, and even Best Motoring. Depending on the area or city you're in, large convenience stores may have them on the shelf. Any car accessory shop like Yellow Hat, Autobacs, Monte Carlo will have them (if they are decent sized). And book shops.

Thanks for that. Its only 10 mins away from me.

I understand what you're saying here Omurru. That's how I thought HICAS worked. I've had alignments done on my HR31 (past car) and the tyre shop didnt comment on the special need to centre the HICAS.
-
Due to only having two recomendations, I'm starting to wonder if I was mis-informed. Has anyone encountered this before? (tyre shop telling you need to go to a Nissan dealer or tyre shop that has a special tool to centre the HICAS before/when performing a 4 wheel alignment) Where do you get your wheel alignments done when you have a Skyline with 4WS? Michael.

Thanks. I know Traction Tyres and their involement in Rallying over the years, so they really know what they are doing. Its just a bit of a drive from where I live (north east suburbs).
-
Thanks. I've known Craig for many years, but I dont live in that area anymore. I was hoping there'd be someone in the north east (Bundoora, Greensbourough) area.

Hi, My local Beaurepaires have told me that I need to find a workshop with the special tool to allow a wheel alignment on my R34. Aparently it makes the rear steer central before perfoming a 4 wheel alignment. Can anyone recommend a worshop in the north east suburbs of Melbourne that can do this? Thanks, Michael.

It was atually found on the same road I live on. It was down the hill at the end (the section I never use). I really hope the Police catch the people who did this. They deserve to be punished... and I also get my excess refunded if they convict them.

How do you mean? I didnt have a Xanavi unit. I had a Carrozzeria tv unit in there, though.
-
Yep, Aus standard to comply with the insurance policy. Its gonna be parked in the driveway from now on. I'll just have to move my wife's car out to the street each night.

Its FOUND!!! Now being recovered by the Police! I'm very relieved. The dash and centre console is all removed (including my $100 stereo unit LOL). I didnt think that climate control systems were worth enough to steal a car for. Its a real mess inside, but apart from the damage around the door lock, the rest seems ok (although, its dark). Its being towed and off to CSI tomorrow for checking over. Thanks to you all for your well wishes. Michael.

It has an immobiliser. I guess they knew what they were doing. And on a hot night all my neighbours had their windows open in their homes... no-one heard a thing.

Last night my Skyline ER34 GT-T sedan (reg WVZ860) was stolen from the front of my home. This happend sometime between 10pm WED 18/11 and 7am THU 19/11 on Strathallan Rd Macleod (3085). The car is silver, lowered, factory body kit, no rear wing, Volk Evolution 4 17's. If you see this car or hear anything about it, please call Heidelberg Police on 03 9450 8000 (24 hours). First of all, any of the below recomendations may not be so good if you've traveled Japan before. I lived there for about 15 months. f*kuyama, to be exact. Are you only staying in the big city, or venturing surroundly cities? You should go to Onomichi for the famous temple on the hill - take a gondola ride up the hill through the tree tops. Tomo no ura is 20 mins bus ride directly south of f*kuyama. Its one of the oldest townships in the area, and back in Edo period was the capital for its medicinal nihonshu, you can get free taste tests at one of the shops. If its hot weather, take a ferry ride to Sensui Jima (an island 5mins out of Tomo no ura) I often went to the beach on that island during the summers, and met some friendly j-girls on numerous occaisians. In Hiroshima itself, go to a baseball game. The Hiroshima Carp are not great, but the fans are crazy. Even if you're not a baseball fan, its good entertainment. The new state-of-the-art stadium may be up and running by now. If you want to check out the war memorial and the A-bomb dome be prepared for a very emotional time (and have tissues ready). Spend at least a day there as there is a large amount of education on nuclear technology and what it does when used wrongly. You like shopping? I cant remember the names of the malls, but there are some great hondori's and the like. Enjoy the different foods in the regions anywhere in Japan. Always ask what the local specialty is, you may be surprised at the different dishes and how much they vary. So there's Okonomiyaki - Hiroshima style, Tomo no ura is famous for its Tai (bream) and nihonshu, Mihara is famous for its octopus. Anything else? Michael.

Well, Dont bother if you cant read or type Japanese. You'll need to be able to read and write (type) Japanese.

Hi Rezz, I'm sure the guy at the Uras stand said ichiman nanasen en... maybe they were actually pikka pikka style strobe sets. Or he was trying to rip me off. Thanks for the links, obviously they dont come up in google searches when using english - I should have known. My in-laws are in f*kuyama-shi, Hiroshima-ken. Also, I know Iwamoto of East Bear personally, so I really should have asked him.

Thanks. Much appreciated!

Thanks Sleeper! Got any suggestions on some speed?
-
It doesn't have to be expensive! You can drift anything as long as its set up right. You don't necessarily need big power, a good suspension set up and diff will get you going. Why don't you get an Aussie assembled R31? They're good value, and parts-a-plenty!
-
C'mon! Hasn't anyone shopped around for these?

Thanks so far! Given the inconsistency with all your experiences , it seems its the random skill of the operator when copying the blank. But, none of the shops in Doncaster Shoppingtown could do it as they didn't carry the black (not think enough). API in Heidelberg cut one, but it did not turn in the barrel. The blank does not need to activate the central locking as I have an aftermarket security system, so I'm just looking for the basic key. @ b3za - what's the name of the locksmiths you used? @ - ss07 - what's the name of the locksmiths you used? Michael.
