  1. I have also heard something to do with syncro?
  2. Hey guys so I had my future skyline checked over today by TopRacing "Must say Awsome company, easy to deal with and willing to give you their time"! Ok so heres the deal: The found nothing majorly wrong with car except few minor wiring problems! Ignition is fueling when switched to accessories 'instead of 2 secs stop it is continue to pump fuel' kinda dangerous but easy fix! 4th gear grinds a little bit with quick shifts! apparently an easy enough fix The Problem 'Compression ratios' 150 145 140 140 135 125? The guys say its not that unusual and the car could last quiet a bit longer without any problems? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated as i am purchasing vehicle on satdy! They quoted me about $4000 to completely rebuild engine (stock internals 'no forgies) does this sound right? Is there any other ways around this? So anyway I was able to negotiate with seller and he has knocked a further $2000 of the car! which I feel is fairlly reasonable? I love the car and it seems this is the only future prob i may be faced with! Would greatly appreciate opinions? Cheers, Dan

  4. Put me down for one! Cheers, Dan
  5. Cheers guys, I recieved email from Ken this morning saying he can do a pre purchase inspection for $180 including compression and cylinder leakage test? I guess that is fairlly reasonable considering RACs $280 pre-purchase check??? He never actually said what the 'waiting list' was like; I believe its pritty long for hyperdrive??? Yes will definately become a member of SAUWA just thought I should purchase my skyline first before becoming a member but shit if it gets me a little discount! The forums have been incredibly helpful for me over the last 3+ months in relation to buying a skyline!
  6. Hey guys, looking at buying a 1994 R33 GTS-T Skyline (140000km), and yeh just wondering if you guys know of someone or a company that could do a run over of the car before I purchase (Mt Lawley/city area possibley)? I am aware that internals can't be checked but would be good if someone that new a bit more then me could tell me where I may or may not have problems $$$$$ involved etc! Where abouts can you get your injectors cleaned and any ideas of cost? Ive heard $200+ for a dodgy clean and around $500 for a detailed clean???? Thanks, Dan
