  1. Will definitely be there. Keen to see it all in action
  2. I have a mate running a 3076 (or 3072) with .64 rear housing. He makes 360rwhp, with almost no Lag on a Cam'd RB25 but flat top end. If he then swaps rear housing for a .82 it can make an extra 50 hp. The 0.86 rear housing a stock 25 would be good, a bit of lag for a meaty top end. I would never run AFM or injectors at max. Get a Z32 AFM if you already have a Power FC
  3. I would say so, seeing as its not a competition they won't charge spectator admission, so should be fine
  4. R32's are getting a bit old in the tooth now. Everything on it will be worn, unless it has a newer engine (RB25), new clutch, brakes, shocks and springs/coilovers, fuel pump. R33's have newer interiors and feel more solid and built inside. Look ugly unless you have a proper kit on it. R34's are killer inside and out. It depends what your mate wants out of a car. If he wants a weekender with large trackability, get a R32 (rwd) with a RB25. If he wants a daily streeter get a R33 or R34. If he wants a awesome do it all daily get a R32/R33 GTR, which you can track easily too. If he has bulk coin get the R34 GTR, which is incredible, but still expensive and expensive to fix.
  5. 8-14K = R32's are lighter, and have a lower centre of gravity than R33's but the RB20 is old tech now and have little low down torque, and when you start to get power out of it it gets real laggy. I reckon the are an absolutely beautiful car from the early 1990's. 9-15K = R33's look ugly (except the GTR and the Series 2 stock kits are ok). The RB25's are nice. You can still make 350-400 HP with it still being quite responsive. 15-25K = R34's are awesome. Look great and have solid engines. Have to mess around with some emissions controls to get some power out of a standard car. R32 GTR's are great, but still need a fair bit of money to run and own R33 GTR's are good too R34 GTR's are amazing, but you will need coin to enjoy the car to the fullest. If your bro has cash. Buy a Modified R32 with a RB25 (preferebly a NEO from R34). Then you get benefits of a Light chassis with good torquey engine. But if you buy it modified, you either buy a lemon or one that has had a lot of money thrown at it properly.
  6. Good news, I prefer to see cars run at night when its a bit cooler
  7. Will be going down to watch my mate with his new BIG turbo setup. See what he pulls out of the bag
  8. Thats messed up that kiddies are taking gear and thinking they are Paul Walker. Stay off the crack kids.
  9. I will come if my clutch allows, I killed it at Motorvation on the weekend
  10. Nope, but its a cheap way to get some power and torque so the HR31 will squat nicely
  11. 165 from Just Jap http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...at=0&page=2
  12. Put a RB30ET in it if its a HR31. Don't bother with a RB25, its money you will never see again from the HR31
  13. Feel free to fight it. It will cost you too much time, money and effort to win. If your wheels are bigger than stock or have a different diff. Your speedo could be out. So if you were doing 63km/h and ur speedo is 5% out, then you would really be doing 66.1. Which is pretty close to 67. So its ur call.
  14. Soft and low = chopped springs. Costs at much as an angle grinder disc Nah. I reckon just get some custom king springs. They cost like 300$ a pair. And you can customize the spring rate and height to suit you.
  15. Cheers for the informative posts boys. I agree that with cops it how you act towards them. I have been lucky with cops before. Pulled over and no problems. But last sticker I got was in March just after I bought the car, didn't know a head light was out. Fair enough. I jumped to the conclusion that I was in for a sticker when I got pulled over this time. And then from what I read wrong on previous posts is they don't have the right to touch car - WRONG. They can pull it apart if they please. So I should have continued to be polite and I might have got off. Anyway work if nearly done for pit inspection. See how I go...
  16. Should fit, but will probably no completely clap on full. Might have 6 mm of overhang, which could cause bad brake pad wear. But should bolt up at the end of the day. R33 GTST and R32 GTR rotors are the same diameter, but not width.
  17. They can search the car for drugs, meaning removing panels and stuff to search placed you could hide stuff. But its not exempt to dismantling the car itself. Way too much power. Pretty sure they can't sticker the car if you are not there and car is not unlocked. Also due to sticker going on the inside. They can't sticker you if your on your property. You just say sorry, I am home and not on public roads. But then they will probably harass you for other stuff or put your car in as a vehicle of interest so cops everywhere will harass you. So you never win. Will definitely slap stock stuff in again and go to pits. But just a rubbish system. I expect to be pulled for driving a skyline. But for him to be on such a mission to pop my bonnet and sniff out things for a yellow was a joke. I was awestruck when he just opened my door and popped the bonnet. Absolute dog.
  18. Well I was driving my R32 to a mates place at midnight on thursday/friday Just as double demerits were in effect for the festive season. I was driving like a grandma past the BP next to the Windsor in South Perth on Mill point road. Saw two cops next to their cop car in the parking lot. I thought here we go, thats it. So I continue to baby it over the hill, then see them blast on lights and I pull over. I straight away get out and hand the cop my license, to make their life easier. He asks what I am doing, usual stuff, I then sit down on curb feeling sorry for myself. Assuming I get a yellow sticker 3 weeks before Motorvation. And the cop opens my drivers door and pops my bonnet. I say hey, you can't do that and click it back down in place. He then tells me yes he can and if I do it again he will arrest me. I was on my way to my mates place to drop him off at the airport in the morning. So If it wasn't for that I would have called his bluff, and taken a night in lock up over a yellow. So anyway, he pops the bonnet and proceeds to look for faults. I ask the other cop if he doesn't need warrant or reasonable suspicion to search the car/open bonnet. He says cops can. He also says that cops are allowed to dismantle a car on the side of the road if they feel the need. Cos they have to make sure a car is road legal and complies. Anyway I cop a sticker for too low, too loud, pillar gauges, catch can, coilovers, steering wheel. So my question is, can they REALLY pop my bonnet without my persmission? Cos I want to just park, lock up and walk away from car next time. Cos I wasn't speeding, they could RBT me if they like, I wasn't doing anything wrong. Can they order me to open car? I would wait for them to leave before I unlocked my car. I would leave the area after they ran their normal shenanigans. But when It comes to copping a sticker I am not up for that.
  19. I drove my skyline at Midnight on Thursday/Friday and I wasn't doing anything wrong, got pulled over straight away and stickered. Not cool.
  20. My car made 252rwhp on Hyperdrive's dyno, at the Silvia WA dyno day,3 weeks ago. All I did was replace the restrictive stock intake pipe with a 3" bend. Same boost. On sunday my car ran 261rwhp with that hot weather. So I am not complaining. Must be the Wolf V500 ecu I have
  21. Great video's Levi. HD power runs
