I got done for a stock GTR bov before. So thats pretty lame. Went on a Mandurah cruise yesterday and cops rocked up to one of our meet points, then highway patrol arrived. They asked what we were doing and said if we don't cause any trouble they won't give us any. Was good to see that for once

I filled up for 116( -4 = 112 ) and tomoro will be 130 everywhere

OFMGPOTATO!!onehundredandeleven!!1! Yeah, most of SAU is R33's, so welcome. R31's are sepertae because the chassis are a different design. R32, R33 and R34 are similar to eachother. The R31's were also made in Aus. The others were Jap imports only. (minus the few 32R's)

I slapped a GTR bov on my car after I got rid of the megasonic ears bleed loud wank bov. I then got stickered to made it plumb back. It made that fats noise. Like air was blowing past the rubber pipe making in vibrate sounding like a fart. Another of my friends gets that too. Wonder why that happens. It atmo again as I got the sticker off. so meh

Any news on this. Numbers yet? Any possible dates or number of spots filled/left?

Run 16 psi and it will blow up, try 14 if u feel very lucky, or 12psi to be safe

I passed the pits with a look at me red hicas lock bar. But 2nd time I went I spray painted it dirty black to make it look like its been on the car for 15 years. Not evena mention. Yes people at Pits are muppets. I wanted a permit for my FMIC and they printed me a permit that said "modification" I told them to change it to "Fround Mount Intercooler" .....Muppets Does it say HICAS "broken" light? Cos u can tell the guy at they pits that the light is on to show that its on, like ABS. tell him its some nissan safety function.

I would set aside 8-12K for a R32 skyline. Some that you pick up for 8K will be that cheap for a reason. Loads of km's, bad panels and paint or absolutely thrashed motor etc. If you buy one for a lil higher it a neat clean car. Then comes insurance of 1-1.8K for full comp if you go that way. And with the cheaper car something will need to be replaced soon enough cos its so cheap. Don't bother getting a GTS, it is non turbo and too much of a mess around to turbo (via engine swap or bolt ons) If it near 100,000km you will need to change the timing belt, maybe water pump etc. which can cost up to 1000$ If you don't have 10K get a S13 Silvia or a 180sx. They are cheaper and more common. But if u can hold out and save up get a R32 GTST, they are brilliant cars /my 2c

Emanage is a good piggy back ecu. Status tuning work with them. Slap it in the for sale section if you want to sell it. Agreed with Mitchy, stock injectors are good for 300rwhp, not much more safely. You can get a stock turbo hi flo'd for 2K and then u could make around 350hp I think.

If you get a GTRS turbo and bigger injectors, with the wolf u will be looking at 360rwhp

Wolf would be a way better ecu seeing as it a full ecu. There will be many more parameters that can be adjusted more if its a stand alone one. The guys at Top Racing tune the ecu's. I have a wolf 3d and my car runs well with the tune. I think u need an adapter loom box and I think a MAP and water temp sensor. You don't need to run a AFM if u don't want to unlike the Apexi Power FC's. Give the guys at Top Racing a call for info.

100% spot on with SAE oils in US. But its been done in many many skylines. It makes most crunchy box's much more smooth, and is great for track cars. He put royal purple synchromax in which is for manual box's that recomend autotrans or engine oil, instead of manual. thats y he is worried.

Yeah, its bearings. When the gearbox is spinning in gear or in neutral when the flywheel and clutch are in contact it will make that noise. So its not the thrust bearing as said b4. My R31 did that cos I double the power output of the engine on a 20 year old box. My bearing noises got worse and worse until the box broke.

There is a group buy here in SAU for boots for gear shifter and Hbrake. Have a quick look. Just plain black/grey I think

Sounds like gearbox shaft bearing to me. Does it get noisy in gears like 3rd or 5th? My R31 did that. I broke some teeth off 3rd gear, and then it was noisy in 3rd and 5th. Got worse and louder as I went on. Fillings can get stuck in ur bearings or just wear it out real quick. Best to completely flush ur gearbox and baby it. Use redline lightweight shock proof oil to ease the situation, buts its bad. Save up cash for a new 33 box.
