  1. So anyone heading to WSID next wednesday. Thinking of going and claiming that 11 finally will depend on how the practice goes at EC this friday though and how much the car has to be adjusted for the SS round 2 If its all good I am there with a few big blue bottles
  2. First time I heard it I thought WTF was that A shame it was not running too well yesterday would have loved to have seen and heard it lay down a few runs at full steam.
  3. Can everyone who raced yesterday post up there quickest times. The 300 community is wondering how well the 300 faired up against the skyline cousins ZX2NV managed a 60 foot - 1.654 ET - 12.028 MPH - 114.12 KPH - 183.66 (3rd gear too) Cheers Jas
  4. Thats a top pic its plastered all over the 300 forum know thanks to Ports.
  5. I had a blast yesterday apart from the weather, car issues and it being freezing. It was a great day a big thanks to the Peter and Adam for getting it happening for us. I started the day off really poorly with getting the car back together at 3 in the morning then it would start on the day, got it sorted and arrived a little late. The first few runs I had issues selecting gears and made as small pedal adjustment to give more clutch bite. Ran a few more times and laid down a few high 12's. Everything was running well so dialled in the N20. Ran a 12.337 then a 12.028 off a 6k launch with a 1.654 60 footer. I was pumped I retuned the nitrous jets for a 100 shot and was ready to run that 11. Thats when the bracket racing started and unfortunately the rain too so it was all over. It was great to meet a few more SAU people and put faces to forum names etc, gotta get some of those ARC winglets Baron look cool. Adam you should of told me about your car, I could have dropped my car off at home ( 15 minutes away) then picked up yours and taken you both home, I didnt even realise or know you had an issue with the driveshaft thats a real shame you were running very well.
  6. No worries 1 taken 1 reserved
  7. I have all mine available none of the 300 guys are coming so first in best dressed in the morning look out for the silver 300zx on the car trailer. Cheers
  8. Add a 300zx with giggle gas for good measure Thanks Adam for the call mate much obliged Will be like a lion in a sheep pen
  9. Thats a sucky Job then hope it pays well. Yes mate actually all this year are on sundays so thats 7 rounds to go plus presentation day at EC brings total to 8. Thats 8 days sick leave per year awesome nailed it always sick on a Sunday roughly every 4 weeks I like it
  10. Chris (hope I am right) the next round is at Eastern Creek on the 22nd April. There is also a PP day on the 30th March and 18th April I believe I should be at both prepping the car. Last time at OP with the V8's yeah I think it was around the 55 or so on street tyres which is probably pretty spot on. Was hoping for a high 49 though yesterday but it was too hot the turbos didnt like the extra heat of a 35 odd degree day. Its funny my third lap on the track in the first session was my fastest all day and was only around 27 or so degrees at that stage. Hope to see you at EC. if you want to go you will have to register with CAMS and be issued a Comp number. Then its a matter of filling out the individual rounds entry forms from the various hosting car clubs and its race time. Cheers Jas
  11. Well round 1 of the State Supersprint Championship has been and gone with some excellent results. SANSW had three entries Neil De Pau (not sure of forum name) finished up with a best time of 53.98 John Tompsett (JT) finished up with forth in SVD with a best time of 52.37 Jason Edgley (ZX2NV me) finished up with a best time of 50.08 to secure the class win and place 6th overall Collectively we managed to get 6 championship points for SANSW Yiippeee!!! So come on get your cars out there and race em for real its a bigger rush than any track day and there is prizes etc for wins aswell.
  12. It takes a bit more than that to keep me away from the tracks Corrine. Good to see a familiar face there as most of the zed guys are heading to Phillip Island for the nats. Will have my own traielr for this event too so no more bar damage getting sick of repairing the thing. Have you been on EC before you will love it its awesome very smooth and fast.
  13. All booked and paid up Hopefully the bogan in the XR8 from wakefield wont be there although will be in the right group this time round. Come on guys get in on this Autosports do a great job and generally have a very well set up day.
  14. Count me in Adam at this stage Date pending
  15. Come on Chris gotta go mate and have some more fun like at Oran at the Mcgill day that was some pretty awesome sideways action going on. The zed should be sweet by then and running the slicks too Should be a great day
  16. I ended up heading out there and Caz went down too we had a run in Aarons car and also had some mini races in the VK V8 training cars which was awesome. There was one skyline there an R32 GTR cant remember the guys name though pretty much had the track to himself. All in all a top day.
  17. Yeah dont know my PC seemed to be going spastic a while ago its reset and I can get little font again.
  18. Its $275 for the day and for a good cause, Whats OLT?
  19. I was just logging on to post this up but some one beat me to it Should be a great day I have emailed Aaron to find out about track time etc and apparently its all day apart from the 15 lap 5 man team event. I have emailed a price request too to clarify the cost for us L2s holders who want to race our own cars all day if tis cool enough. Will post up the info when confirmed.
  20. Might have to come down as backup for Ports. 1 zed is better than none, 2 is better than 1. Show you skyline boys what real sportscars can do on a track
  21. If I can make it I will give it a shot for sure
  22. Eastern creek is a fast track in comparison to Wakefield with lots of blind corner moments and crests which try to unsettle your car. Turn one is damn fun at 180 to 200 klicks as you find the limits of adhesion of your tyres. Come on all you will have a great time up here in NSW.
  23. I think quite a few left after getting the jitters when the RX7 met an untimely end.
  24. Just wanted to say thanks to Adam for setting up this great day and to whomever was involved that I didnt get to meet yesterday. There was clearly a lot of work that went into making this day happen and to all involved well done. I was really stoked to run a 1 min 52.614 told you Adam the tune would help There was a few interesting cars I had some tussles with. A 1977 mustang type celica had some mumbo down the straight but lacked in the corners. A white R33 with semis? was going great but seemed to struggle in the corners also. I trailer the car as I have the slicks fitted for track days and it saves me the hassle of trying to fit all my tools etc and tyres into the zed and is also a saftey factor in case something goes bang!! Next time out I will hopefully be chasing down a few of those top 5 cars. Cheers J
  25. Hi Adam I am definatley in Transferred funds tonight as per your PM Look foward to a great day Wakefield 1 min 12 12 untuned with slicks
