  1. well when you consider the alternative to not getting those replaced and having dirt and grime get in there, $50 is not bad at all. Buy a barina/ excel if you want to be a stingy bastard . From memory Repco/ supercheap have a universal fit steering boot.
  2. The GTR wing on 33's is the perfect wing, its not like the car is covered in GTR badges
  3. where is our spot anyway Has a map been made up yet? This will probably be the last showing of the skyline for me, after this the cars getting a major service (clutch, belts, fluids, brakes, normal 100,000km stuff etc) and then its up for sale
  4. I'll volunteer to go straight to the site, what time do i have to get there?
  5. haha i really need to get mine put on, looks really good. Any problems with the fitting?
  6. 99 Words for Boobs (sung to the tune of 99 Red Balloons) http://www.break.com/index/99-words-for-boobs.html
  7. if these are anything like the Tailored sheepskin seats in a mates car they are worth a lot more then $100. So ridiculously comfortable
  8. hehe sounds exactly like my car then. Spotted a blue 33 NSW bound on Barton around 11am Step Up R33 with 34 front end at the roundabout near gunghalin and barton hwy and blue 33 canberra bound on Barton Hwy around 5pm Also spotted my celica on the dyno at gastune today pumping out a whopping 40hp!! It got tuned and fixed up and now actually idles, does not stall constantly AND can accelerate up a hill.
  9. nope, half day of work so have been lying in a hammock or riding dirt bikes all day. Have driven the skyline twice in the last 2 weeks :X Spotted a Silver 33 with complete 400R bodykit driving past the braddon BP and a maroon 33 turning into the canberra center carpark around 2:30pm (was in the mushroom truck)
  10. the celica (or celeen as i call it, cross between saleen and celica, im a word wizard, its a curse) does not like the cold. It is a bastard to start and takes for ever to warm up.
  11. sullivan_a, trader on these forums, sells direct replacement Nissan R32, 33 and 34 O2 sensors. $70 or around there
  12. Also this is the result of going from FWD to RWD and driving the same style (stupidly) I did learn a lesson though, nothing scares you straight like spending 5,000 on a car, losing it, being threatened with $25,000 in fines and damages and going back to getting lifts to work from your mum until you can afford a new car...
  13. If you've written off 2 FWD cars in less then 2 years you have not learnt any lessons... As said about 20 times already, Buy a stock GTT, drive it, get used to the feel and progressively add more power. Dont go from a 70kw celica to 300kw skyline in one leap, the difference in FWD and RWD handling alone is something you should get used to first. This is almost certainly going to end in tears if you go ahead with this...
  14. white stagea on parkway at (exactly!) 1:42pm
  15. haha they were advertising the porn stars on the radio yesterday. I wanted a photo with them but the threat of airborne aids in there vicinity was a bit too much... Whats going on with the petrol? I filled both my cars up last week so im all set
  16. mine said 74,000km when i bought it but had the timing belt '100,000km sticker'. I would never take the odometer on a jap import as genuine unless there is lots of documentation. It would probably cost a lot of money to get the inspection and documentation and in the end there wouldn't be much you could do about it
  17. darkness (haha toast -> goth)
  18. vagina ("scoop that sand out of your vag")
  19. two tone Silver 33, two tone dark blue 33 and a 32 gtr around fyshwick and civic yesterday around 3pm also to rant, spotted myself finishing a 28 hour work day an hour ago... my soul hurts...
  20. crack-a-shit (my most used word/ combo word)
  21. now thats an oldsmobile haha
  22. This www.zgeek.com review sums it up perfectly. Audiosurf is what you would get if Dance Dance Revolution had a bastard child with Fzero, and they raised it in a Tron universe. You control a speeding car on a track, which is generated by the mp3 that you select. A slow paced song will get you a track with easy bends and gentle conditions. Load in some heavy metal and hang on as sharp turns bend and veer to the time of the music. While negotiating the track you pass through colored blocks that collect on your grid. Once three of more same colored blocks join up, they disappear and you get points. (Think Bejeweled meets tetris.) The whole game jumps, vibrates and pulses with the music that is loaded into it. It is a fluid, enjoyable experience that had me saying "wow!" out loud on many occasions. You get to choose which sort of car to race in, each one modifying your point collecting strategy. I initially liked using "Pusher", which allows you to guide where your colored blocks go into the grid. However I am starting to become a big fan of "Eraser", which can remove undesirable colors from the grid. (Warm colors like red earn you more points, where as cool colors like blue are low point earners.) At the end of each race your score is uploaded, and you can see how you did against the rest of the world with each song. I managed to earn a couple of mid and top placings with some of my song selections, however no doubt within a few days once the game spreads in popularity they will fall away to oblivion. The game comes with a selection of preloaded mp3's to choose from (including the entire Orange Box album), however the best fun is loading up your favorite songs and seeing how they *race*. There *is* local Co-op available, however I have not had the ability to try it so it remains unscored. The cost is $9.95 American, and is downloadable on Steam. I think this is great value. If you are a music fan, a racing fan, a puzzle fan, or anywhere in between, its pretty hard to go wrong. There is a demo available, so you have nothing to lose.
  23. Best $10 i have ever spent. For anyone that has a Steam account (or those looking for an excuse to get one), go and buy Audiosurf. If you don't know what it is, its basically a game that creates a race track that is determined by the speed, beat and intensity of the song you choose to play. Hard to explain so watch these videos: There are around 15 different game modes including avoid the greys, collect the colours, 2 player and colour match up. The best part is it can be ANY mp3, wma, itunes etc audio format that you have locally on your computer. Its addictive though so be prepared to waste a lot of time on it
