agreed , save yourself the money and do it yourself . they arent that hard to install . buy a din pocket or a pod pillar off ebay , purchase your gauges and sensors depending what you want . google it , theres probably a few write up in the sau diy section , worst case you get confused you post questions on here

Coolant Leak From Under Intake Manifold.
sky017 replied to Rolls's topic in Forced Induction Performance
i had the same problem when i fitted my after market plenum , hadnt driven it for a few months , and when i finally got it on the road i started to notice a leak . thought normal gasket goo would of done the trick on the first initial install . had enough and endured the pain in the ass of removing it , i simply just loosened mine off and got some ultra strong sealant (red type silicon based) from supercheap , applied it with a little brush to both sides of the gasket and let her sit over night , no more leak . but im guessing your running the standard manifold? id get a camera phone and take a few photos underneath like i did to determine exactly where , to be sure before you go into removing the manifold. good luck -

location would help -
Hi Guys , i have a series 2 r33 passenger side headlight for sale . its clear as day , if your searching for something new . its probably not that old either . there is no scratches on it what so ever. the lower mount to fix to chassis has a crack , but its been glued back and is not a problem to effect fitment. seeking $280 o.n.o , no low ballers, considering they are $500+ brand new and $300 or so from wrecker in crap condition. located in sydney , first in best dressed. will post at buyeres expense. also have a drivers side headlight with clips broken if anyone is interested throw me an offer , could be used for parts

sky017 replied to sky017's topic in Forced Induction Performance

Radiator Leak Off Plenum Inlet - Help Needed
sky017 replied to sky017's topic in Forced Induction Performance
yeah i get what you mean , i let her run for a fair while until she was well at running temps , didnt have the hose tightened up 100% thats why she dribled , thats when a few more turns ruined the clamp. the amount of times iv taken it off in the last week and tightened trying to find this leak lol that clamp had it coming. hopefully it doesnt leak tomorrow with the new clamp , otherwise im out of options , this problem is really starting to piss me off. -

Radiator Leak Off Plenum Inlet - Help Needed
sky017 replied to sky017's topic in Forced Induction Performance
yeah it was a very tight fit - i remember when preparing the plenum i was thinking about sealing it, i had to kock it in pretty hard with a hammer thats why i thought it would be ok. theres like a 1mm gap on the bottom which iv just noticed via taking shots with the iphone . im wondering if a few more taps with the hammer to get it sitting true all around will potentially prevent my problem . i dont see it be an easy job getting that cylinder out . -
hey guys , after a month of my car not running the last week or so iv taken her out a few times , iv come to notice a leak off my plenum on the inlet. its basically coming from the cylinder that you push into the plenum which the top radiator hose connects to . does anyone have any suggestions how to prevent it leaking, or a way to get the cylinder back out and use some sort or sealer by recommendation ? thoughts appreciated cheers.
