  1. haha i wasnt in my r33 , so you probably would of been like WTF? haha next time , youll probably see mine around , black s2 , wont be hard to miss when im done with it
  2. grab some cutting compound on the buffer wheel , make sure you mix with a little water and apply with a pad . buff it 2 times over , then just use some kitten cut and polish for the last clean . give it a little wipe over with micro fibre after. i did mine tonight as iv picked up a new 33 as a project , and they were yellow as all hell . cant stand them , they look terrible . now they are cystal clear. you can always buy plastix X , but i find this method to work deeper to get it looking good , then you can possibly go over it with plastic x
  3. wtb in sydney : series 2 boot with spoiler - preferably black if possible. r33 interior , - front ash tray under the head unit . - boot interior which hides the battery pm cheers
  4. how many mm did you get away with when he flared ? can you pm me some pics of your ride . cheers ill be hitting him up to do mine i think

  7. damn stories keep comimg up by the sounds . how much did he charge to do the car . cheers also thanks for the replies , i am definitly more educated with all this , cheers men.
  8. yes definetily. i also have one other question , obviously when the car is slow it will create some negative camber ,but for the front , if i want to create more neg to fit into the gaurd , what is the best way to do so ? iv searched up and read that people either use different bushes to dial , or either camber arms , but are there camber arms that will produce negative rather then correct? and also i will get the gaurds rolled , but is there anyway i can get them pumped as far as possible without painting / or flaring ? i mean it shouldnt be too bad once some camber is there , its just a matter of getting them to sit right . the other member who bought my equips seamed to have it quite well set - he has more camper compared to my shot and it sat pretty good. , but will there be much different in the +4 of offset , considering the equips were +18 , and the new wheels im getting are +22 , they should sit in closer if im understanding it right? correct me if im not?
  9. hahah yeah , one of my mates had some rims from there , he went to change his tyre to his space saver , and realised they threaded all the bolts on the wheels with the torque gun lol. ill just be taking my rims down there in my ute and have them chuck the tyres on there , fit them when i come home. ill be calling them tomorrow and confirming about the wheels and stretching them
  10. how much do you recon ill be looking at in price , i never been to tempe before , heard some stories though lol
  11. not swaping mate , past tense , as mentioned i had them on one of my older skylines. cheers for all the info guys , definitly answered all my questions. now any recomendations of a place in sydney that will throw stretched tyres on for me ? cheers
  12. cheers for the repsonce , but yes as for tyres and purchasing , as mentioned can i get the stretched tyres anywhere? and are they more expensive? yeah lol another member bought them of me and had them on his r33 , i actually found the thread when searching for wheels to suit http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/342504-work-equips-18x10-18/
  13. hey guys , lately iv been noticing stretched tyres is the craze , and its gotten me hooked . in saying that i dont have much info about it all to be honest. firstly , as silly as it sounds but will any tyre place be able to stock me with some depending what i want ? are they a different type of tyre compared to ones that are to suit a certain size rim ? im thinking of getting LENSO D1R Drift Wheel 18 x 10 +22 for my gtst , and im after a real agressive look . im wondering if i run stretched tyres, plus some negative camber for mainly the front , will that be possible , with rolling / flaring of coarse and what tyres would i be asking for when i rock up to the tyre place thanks attached is a pic of one of my r33s , i was running work equips 18 x 10 + 18 , it wasnt too low as you can see , but i loved the real tough look , and i did rep a lot of comments on them despite they were gtr fitment.
  14. 17 with a skyline ? isnt there rules for the young ones driving turbo cars these days? haha crazy color , your definitly going to be getting unwanted attention . as far as leds , go with the red or white , most after market gauges are usually red / white interface. im the same i like things to match good luck
  15. i can vouch for night shade by vht , the stuff is good . if you know how to spray evenly and lightly you can get pretty good results . but i also wouldnt recomend tinting lights on cars other then black cars , i have to say i think it only goes well with black and the whole stealth look , but thats just my opinion. you could also use like a window tint film , i did that a couple of years back on my r33 series 2 front fog lights , it did look good . heres a photo of the vht night shade on my old ute , notice i didnt go over the top and it doesnt look like some one sprayed jet black spray paint over them like most noobs do these days .
  16. seeking ssr proffersors , 18.19 inch , good condition etc , r33 gtst fitment. sydney only cheers
  17. answer your own question lol. with the stock box you never hear the standard bov release as it puts in back into the system , your only hearing it when you have the pod filter because its not restricted
  18. must agree they dont look to flash , but as mentioned good diy . might of looked better if they were mounted inside the headlight without the holes and kept the factory lense sealed.
  19. sorry to clarify, i had the ssv ute for work and sold it as it wasnt big enough , but yes i loved the seats , they were comfy as . i was looking at buying the recaro coppies from just jap , but i thought id be different. so what part will i need to buy . a universal rail made for r33 ? and then some how do the fabricating myself i will measure the width of the ssv seats before i purchase to make sure they fit etc just want to know what rails to get and possibly where thanks
  20. iv been looking at a lot of seats to throw into my r33 , i have recently had an ssv ute and i was wondering if it would be possible to chuck the ssv seats into the r33 , what would need to be done ? would a universal rail be all i need to get them in , or would there need to be a lot of custom work done, basically in a nut shell could it be done ? any one experimented with different seats as such cheers
  21. boostn0199 - thanks for the postive comment , yes i agree 3- 4k on wheels is unjustifiable in my eyes . so would this be the correct offset to suit front 9.5 +20 , and rear 10 +10 iv been a bit apprehensive about buying them until i know the right fitment , iv never really sourced wheels my self other then going to a tyre place , i think the rotas look good and bang for buck
  22. thanks for the reply. do you think 19s will be too big , i was thinking 18s but i thought i want something bigger as iv never had 19s on any of my cars. do you think i should order 9.5 all around , or go 9.5 and 10 ? i was thinking if i got 9.5 all around , i could always use spacers later if i wanted more or an agressive fit
  23. 19 x 9.5 +20 19 x 10, +10 could anyone confirm if this offset will fit , cheers
  24. hey guys im after getting a set of these in 19s for my r33 gtst does anybody have an idea whats the best width and offset for that aggresive look - i want to take the width as far i can on front and rear , or anyone with pics info would me gladly appreciated. http://www.ebay.com....=item1e68ded739
  25. hi guys , im looking at purchasing the following in 19's for my r33 gtst . just wondering if any one has fitted anything similar in 19 ,iv looked around on sau and google to try find as much info but its limited. im just wondering will 19s be acceptable or is 18s better, im also after an agressive fitment , any recomendations with offset etc as i think they have a few different sets going around on ebay . any info would be appreciated http://www.ebay.com....=item1e6a5c7fb1
