  4. Hey all, My names Sam and ive been on SAU for a little while whilst searching for a sports car. Not knowing what I wanted I explored many options before falling head over heels for this mint, freshly imported and complied Dark Grey Pearl 1997 R33 S2 GTS25T Manual Sedan. Grade 4 at Auction in Japan it was pretty much stock except for Blitz Atmospheric BOV, Blitz turbo timer (now removed) and a 3" cat back exhaust, dark tinted rear windows and aftermarket CD player. 5. Sounds awesome, ill look into SK's group buy when i get more money. What are the hawke pads worth if u dont mind asking, im after a good set of pads that will handle track work. the LM GT2 rims really make it look tough. Love your work, keep it up. hope mine can be as good as yours one day
  6. I love your car! one of the hottest 4 door `lines around! looks tough, just how a skyline should be! I agree on the seats i find them really flat and unsupportive.
  7. i emailed EBC and the reply i got was to use yellowstuff if im to do any track work and Greenstuff is for road use only
  8. dont mean to hijack. i got my kit from just jap and the bloke who i spoke to said i need to get a nipple added to one of the hoses. can someone please explain what that is for? and where can i get it done?
  9. sorry to highjack. I am new to turbocharged vehicles. my fresh imported R33 S2 has what i have been told the stock plumback bov but also has a blitz atmospheric job on one of the intercooler pipes. u can only see it if u take the scoop of the stock airbox off. whats the advantages/disadvantages of this set up? how can i tell if my stock plumb back works? ill try and get a photo
  10. car belonged to a frind of an sau member, i thought the plates seemed familiar http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p; owner had no insurance. i hope the thieving scum die a painful death and burn in hell

  13. I'm with you on this one mike. Does anybody from the north not have an E-Tag for the M7? we can have a meet somewhere near the M2 for those coming from the north otherwise how about Orange Grove Krispy Kreme or somewhere in that vacinity.
  14. well i stand on it and she doesnt really wanna stop. might have been a little too harsh on the bed in. just hope the new discs arent cooked
  15. what model porsche are you referring to? (i Love porsches and work on them for a living) i bedded in the maxistops and already they have faded on bedding in (maybe i cooked them) i jsut hope i didnt cook the new discs
  16. I've been quoted $195+tax (front) and $185+tax (rear) for EBC(not sure if its red or yellow) as i asked for pads that will withstand a track day and they just said EBC was that price. I picked up a set of maxistop performance for the front and maxistop standards for the rear $140+GST for bedding the new rotors in. if they are any good on the road ill just use them otherwise ill move to the EBC's
  17. i always thought the EBC Greenstuff was a semi track pad
  18. Are the Ultimates dusty, from what I found whlist searching was that the ultimates are dusty as. ferni brings up the subject of tyres. should i use my new 18's (f 235 r 265) or should i run on my slightly old and hard 16" Potenza RE-01's that came on the car?
  19. Hey all, I'm taking my 33 to a Wakefield Park track day for the first time. My brake pads are due for changing and I'm not sure what I should do. I have purchased a full set of RDA slotted rotors (which i havent yet fitted). Should I fit the rotors now or after the track day? I'd like to have the best brakes possible but i dont want to glaze up a new set of rotors after a day of fun. What pads would you recommend for daily use with a bit of the odd spirited drive and for now 1 track day. I'd like something not too expensive and low dust. I have been told to go for EBC Greenstuffs. Has anybody had experience with the Greenstuffs on Skylines? Whats the wear, fade, toll on discs and price and availability like? and lastly. A workmate of mine recommended I change my brake fluid even though it has been changed for compliance 2 months ago. Should I go for a racing fluid or will a good quality DOT4 fluid suffice (consider this is my first Track Day so I wont be lapping like Schumacher. Thanks in advance for enduring my endless n00b questions. Regards WTF33R
