  1. wanted to know if there are any ther stageas in Cairns (actually, townsville as well) cause i am headed up that way in 3 weeks for a qss cruise on australia day... car to meet up? CHRIS
  2. cloth - ftw
  3. just got into the car this morning and noticed some devo put a scratch down the driver side rear door.... only had it 9 weeks... i suppose the lack of spares makes me really freak whenever anyone even goes near my Stag. Touch it and i kill ya's...mofo's..... wher'd i put my paintball gun!
  4. my bad?....stupid mistake...they just brought the plastic crap cover off... stoopid chris...stoopid chris
  5. It looks like that car has had just a few changes to it... RB25 to a RB25 NEO...several Intercoolers etc... I can't read japanese but i assume it would be revealed in the article
  6. lol.. ...Didn't know the PFC was only for manuals...damn. Maybe i wil ahve to just go SAFC... any replacment Engine Management systems for auto's insteading of hacking the stock computer (or getting Greddy thing which will kill me and drive me insane)?
  7. lol yeah definately too early for a new turbo... the sane part of my username can tell me that. THe point is that this place is nuts for second hand parts going way cheap if you know what i mean. I love this town!... You blokes are probably right...just stick to my guns and go the sound, suspension route...and then get exhaust>PFC (or alternatively Momo or other engine management) > and FMIC... then trundle along from there... like you said before Cy. the real expensive stuff has to come first before you can have major play time.
  8. well.. i get up to Townsville, and a Guy offers me a muffler for free, and another guy wants to palm me off his FMIC for $150, and another guy is selling his highflowed GT3540 or something for $600... so i have hit upon the dilemma... What priorities should i place on modifications to the stagea... All i wanted to do to start off with was get some better sound quality and bass in there and fit a turbo timer... then suspension, seats, exhaust, FMIC and mangament... But what are your experiences and priorities (in hindsight or presently)? Please only post your priority opinions..not huge extensive mod lists.. there are other threads for that, but decifering the order the occured in is a pain in the arse. Thanks in Advance
  9. needed to shift house 1600 kms (baggaeg space), needed a new car, and budget was 12k... try and find another car under 100K with the same features for the same price (not going to happen)...then add the fact that it is the sexiest wagon ever, and it goes!.... damn easiest decision of my life...
  10. Tidy... i think that's what i'll have to do. I think your right Rob... shee'll be sweet with the 2 in the box. love what your trying to do in your most recent bit of work though I listen to all types...that is my problem...Punk, Ska, Crunk, Jazz, Christian Worship...you name it then I probably appreciate something from it... Hence the reason i will probably go 12's... stage 1 is replacing the stock rear parcel 6"... then the subs...but gotta pay off the loan first...What's your new setup going to be?
  11. yeah..they got some twin clarion 12's in a box w/ amp for 500 at AutoBahn at the moment. which is pretty freakin awesome.. but am not sure weather it is worth trying to custom fit them into the internal bodywork (aka, flase bottom of the boot, or sides...going to be severely limited by the depth though)
  12. how have people set up their subs in their stag so it looks schmick...i was thinking single thin 10" in the recess created by the space saver spare, but not entirely sure it will fit...and i want 12" anyway...if not twin 12's.... 15" i reckon will be too muh work, and getting a good box to get response out of them will not be worth it.. so what i am after mostly is mounting suggestions for subs that are gonna get a good spread of music types to perform (from punk to crunk to a little Eva Cassidy)
  13. I live in Kirwan...just moved up for 14 months. Driving a Silver Stagea s1. Only been up here 1 week...so let me know of any cruises etc happening.
  14. CHeers for the roof, the meal and the cruise Cy. No Sightings of stageas in Townsville, though there are plenty of R32's around:) If anyone knows some cruising groups in TOwnsville could you pm me? Like i said, plenty of skylines, lancers (yuK!) and american muscle doing laps of the strand on Friday night, but the only one i could talk to at the lights had no idea. Again, thanks for the shelter and the mod ideas... Cheers.
  15. just bought mine but i have to shoot children at work...[skirmish]. Sorry.
  16. Just bought my S1 stagea on Wednesday. First mods are stereo (cause it hates my burnt CD's) and it needs a service..then i am heading off to Townsville for a year...so we shall see how it goes up there... can't decide weather to do exhaust, intercooler and power FC, or weather to just wait a while and save all the money for the manual conversion (a rediculous 6k i presumme). Very happy with my new man child car!
  17. Will do mate...i'll probably stop over there over night at a friends place so have to catch up. See you then, should be there on the 20th Nov.
  18. Gday. Probably buying my stagea in under 2 weeks. Got the deal lined up and in process of getting roadworthy. Just an oil leak under rocket cover so should be just a steam clean job before the inspection. Completely stock S1 RS4 w/ twin sunnies. Saying gday, and probably see you all around town sometime. Currently in Bris but moving to Townsville for 1 year work experience (architecture) late next month. Anything I should look out for before settling the deal? All is cosher as far as i can tell at the moment. Any peculiars i should be aware of? Cheers
