Yeh dude sorry 95 R33 GTR. Imported in 2000 been here since, 1 owner and has vouched it has the factory engine as far as he knows unless it got changed before it got here. Umm. Had regular services every 5000kms with good oil. Thats about it.

Hey guys, Have a little bit of a problem. I have had this tapping noise coming from my engine bay. Finally got it around to a mates house who is a mechanic. We narrowed it down by listening to the engine via this big screwdriver and putting it to the block (may have tech term) but looks like a big screwdriver. Anyway, heard a bit of a slapping in the 6th cylinder or top left corner of the RB26. Subsequently we removed the coil pack plug and ran it on 5 pistons and it disapears. Found! Now that I have this nasty slapping in this cylinder only what are my options? It has only started in the last couple of months. Engine is from factory with 115k on the clock. Not too noisy but noticable. HELLLP!! I love my baby, and want to fix her. I have heard the word "rebuild" mentioned. I would like to take that as my last resort at this stage in time. Same had white rims. Mine were Lenso 19" twin 5 spoke. And they were a bitch to clean. Did look good when they were clean however. Personal preference really. I suppose if your on the dole and have nothing better to do than polish your wheels all day they are probably a good option. Heh.

How much performance can you get out of these little fins. I mean what take .1 of a second off your 1/4 mile time or...? Also they quote 2 give you better fuel economy. If you drive a performance car of any type im not to sure you should be worrying about that extra few k's/litre you are getting. If it floats your boat though its your own car. Not my piece of cake though. LOLZ! As fuel prices rise we may see more of this and other crazy stunts appearing...!!

Make sure you are using a genuine "jap spec" ciggarette plug like the genuine one. I noticed that I purchased a replacement one from autobahn and it keept blowin the fuse, when you push it in. However navman charger and phone charger had no effect. In the end it was just in there for looks. lol Other than that rip the glove panel off and inspect the plug connected to the pins in the lighter holster and check all wires at the rear arent worn through.

Great work. Lovin the look. I resprayed my GTS with that bar in deep purple back in the day. Its a really nice bar and quite cheap too! Good luck with further mods...

I have notice that there is a slight rubbing sound on some of my gear changes in the GTR. I have been told by a few people that its my thrust bearing/busch that needs replacement. Apparently it has something to do with pushin of the buttons on your clutch and sometimes it moves which creates this noise. I spose i need to drop the box and lift the engine. The clutch is fine and has no slip and i basically brand new. Is it worth waiting out to replace this $50 part until my clutch goes or will i be doin damage by ignoring the problem? Any advice or people who have had similar issues? Oh car is a 1995 Skyline GTR. Cheers...

This car used to live across the road from me in the sydney suburbs. I had my GTS at the time put on bricks. There seemed to be a big boom in crime after that. Maybe there has been people that have had eyes on it for a while. However it sounds like she has a new owner now. Sorry about your loss and will definately keep and eye out for ya dude. Yeah agree with that one, seems like thats the fashion these days. Im sure there will be bodykits out to "mean" them up a bit. I mean whats so attractive about a standard 92 Silvia? Throw a nice bodykit on any car and dump it on sum nice wheels and you can at least look at it...

Heard a rumor of people using fire extinguishers as fake tanks with thier sytems and using CO2 mixed wit something. Heard watever it is strips your paint. Anyone come accross a wanker with something similar to this on thier car (hopes and prays its not on a skyline) ??

Gday guys, I bought a laptop a few weeks back and was thinking about throwing it the glove box? Haha Crazy yeah but I think it is possible. Had a look at some of the other topics with carputer setups and most of those things they did i plan to do (GPS,Aux Audio etc.) Measured it up and it should fit however i will have to gut the frame out of the glovebox and some of the plastic firewall thingo at the back of the glovebox. Thought I could put it on a small platform with sort of ball bearing cabinet type rails so i can open the glove box and slide it out. Any holes you see in my ideas let me know or any helpful suggestions!! Also my other question is if there is a way of getting it in the glove box is there any way it would be able to connect to my Power FC computer. Ive heard rumors of programs and cabling available? Anyone out there on the same nerdy wavelength? P.S. Have a 93' R33 GTS-T Cheers

Hey, I have a set of R34 Skyline GTT Rims sitting on a mates GTR that i still own. I will be moving to Sydney at the end of the year and need to get rid of them before I leave. I am from Townsville, QLD. The rims are in almost mint condition with a slight scratch on one of the rims however very sturdy and no cracks. The two steer tyres have had new tyres in the last two month and havent seen 100km of road yet as the GTR has blown turbos. The rear tyres will have to be replaced hoever with wear on the inside due to camber. Pictures can be arranged however if you are keen on them give me a call and we can work something out.
