  1. Heh. Thats why we have so much trouble getting a pair from Japan! : ) Heard the demand for these in the states was insane too... What would you consider played out? Surley these are a bit out of the price range for vtec yo's to afford? Cheers.
  2. He is fully aware that what he has to do sometimes causes people to get sh!tty. As for minor things where adresses have been changed etc I believe that is just bad luck. I think we are all fully aware that the council just love dishing out crud like that. That situation about parking fines at 1am is ridiculous. I feel bad for the person on the recieving end of the fine, and also for the sheriff that gets sent around to collect it after the recipient refuses to pay. Just a vicious cycle, caused by the council being unreasonable.
  3. Just spoke to a mate who is part of the operation at the moment. He drives one of those camry's daily but it doesnt have the camera in it. But they all carry wheel locks. I must say though some of the stories he has told me and the scum he deals with I don't blame them for doing things like this. He has this huge folder of names, listed in priority and he just works through them...
  4. By the sounds of it since it was not sold with a RWC and you purchased it UNREG you will have to start the process again. Get a RWC for the car within the 28 day allowance and then Register it, shouldnt have a problem if you do that. I purchased a car in VIC last yr and had the hassle of bringing it to NSW and I learnt through that process that neither states communicate in any way with registration. NSW don't accept VIC roadworthy's and such and so on. I had to basically register the car as if it was unroadworthy and unregistered. Time consuming and costly... Good luck with it mate.
  5. Ah tru so it is do-able in relative saftey. lol. Will post results when I get the rest of the junk bolted on and have another tune.
  6. Thats a really good result. I did shell out the extra cash early to put in dumps and do cams for a bit more response prior to doing fuel system. It is interesting the different changes that you have got from things like AFM's and fuel compared to cam's etc. I need to know when I can stop safely though, I want as much power as possible whilst still getting a bit more life out of the stock internals. From what I have read that seems to be somewhere between 300-350kw, anything past that things start getting too stressed. Anyone out there with a nice power figure on an older stock motor, that is still going strong?
  7. Never been to Winton either. On holidays in Albury and will most likely be cruising down to have a look around and go for a quick wrap...
  8. Old thread I know but im down in Wodonga for the next 2 months. Keen for a meet up anytime! Also most likely heading down to the winton fun day this month if you guys are keen...
  9. Hey mate congrats on the new car! I can't beleive how much you picked it up for. I have not been keeping track on the market lately, quite amazed. Well have fun with it, and be prepared to keep that wallet open once the mod bug bites... Cheers
  10. I just spent a bit of dowwla too adding some much needed mods. Similar to above. Was completely stock then got all this in one hit. I pulled 231awkw at all 4. That is with the following: 1. Power FC 2. HKS GT-SS's 3. Blitz Dual Soleniod Boost Cntrlr 4. Aftermarket Dumps 5. OS Giken Adj. Cam Gears Tuner only kept it mild as he said its pretty much on the limits with the GTR's injectors. I am installing fuel pump, injectors and cooler in the new year and going back for a re-tune. He is adament that he can get 300awkw safley.
  11. Yeah cheers mate. There is a large thread on here called "yellow fever" all about lights and the best fixes. I solved mine with one of the tutorials in there that uses wet/dry sandpaper, really effective. Ya sould post some pics up in there to show your results... Cheers.
  12. 1. R33 GTS-T 2. R33 GTR 3. R33 GTR VSpec And still not sick of the R33's!
  13. I left mine for for 4 months and get back to it this weekend : ). All I did was run down as much fuel as possible and leave just a sniff in there to get to a servo, disconected the battery and manually locked all doors and boot and the steering columb. Car cover and was stored in garage. I hope I did everything right. Im a little bit worried about oil but its getting dropped almost immediatly. Only time will tell...
  14. Hard decision... Probably be a Mitsubishi Evo VII if I had to keep to the same budget as my car was worth. If I was too rich for my own good a Porsche 911 GT3 would do just fine. : )
  15. Wow. They are awesome mate, they definitly give the car a more improved street look. I have been umming and arring also about TE's as well because as you said they have been done to death. Still they have no trouble standing out when matched properly to a car. Im going to get exactly the same dimensions for my 33GTR in the next month or so (Give or take with the offset, gotta look it up). Can I ask who arranged them for you? PM if you feel the need. Cheers.
  16. Nice. I just signed. I was sig 45687... I can imagine that there are a few pissed people out there that have spent alot of money preparing.
  17. Crikey. Never heard about that... Quite funny about the ban though. Im just hoping it lives up to its expectations, lets also hope that they find a better solution for the multiplayer drama's too.
  18. ^^ Heh been there before. In progress looked like mine did. :b Sad sight but only you have the perfect end product visualisation in your head. Will keep Vu and DT in mind when I have some body work done. They look very reasonable, and produce the goods!
  19. Not a bad attempt. But it looks like something that belongs more on a prelude/civic/lancer... My GTR is almost identical and it had the normal eyelids on it when I got it, but after sanding back and cleaning up the headlights from yellow haze it looked alot better with them off. Good work at having a go though.
  20. Yeah I particularly enjoy the roads made up from large concrete slabs that have just been plonked in order and the cracks have been sealed. That way when the soil/temp/humidity changes they rise and fall. Awesome!
