  1. Playing COD4 multiplayer with the rest of the minions awaiting MW:2 on PC. Having a break from DCS: Black Shark at the moment (Heli Sim).
  2. Id be tipping Just Car. Have been with them for a while. No drama's just let them know everything on the policy, comply with thier regs and you will be good. But look around and see who else will insure you. Call famous and the likes for a comparison. Good Luck.
  3. Get the V-Spec mate. You will never look back. Just drive both cars and you will see the difference in how they both feel.
  4. Yeah thats the reason I took mine off. It looks alot cleaner. Each to thier own though...
  5. Hahahaha. Oh god. What posses people to do such things...
  6. LOL Just found this... Check the GT-R badge out. In all seriousness though, save and get the real deal. Even if you can't afford a R34 GT-R yet buy a 33 or 32 GT-R. If not GTS or GTT and wait until you can. Building a replica IMO is like buying a pair of nikes from Bali. They sort of look the goods but don't feel right...
  7. +1 Spend a bit getting it Roadworthy and Running. Same as others have stated. Keep in mind also that it is an early model R32 GTR and the motor is getting long in the tooth (regardless of k's). This works against you even though the car may have had a really good life. As is: $12k-$14k Running and Rego'ed:$18-$22k I vote you keep it too, looks nice.
  8. Those ones that do extend to the end of the light dont look to bad on the purple one... Steath
  9. I have these that I have taken off and are lying around. Obviously they are silver made of fiberglass and can be attached with silastic. I know they are not exactly what your after but PM me if your interested in them and we can arrange something.
  10. Was just talking to the missus about this thread. Had a good laugh. She understands that I love my car alot and enjoys driving it home when im drunk (whilst I eagerly encourage her to reach the speed limit "quickly"). Her first realisation of my love for my R was early in our relationship when she decided to use my spoiler as a bech top for her handbag. I cringed at the sight and tried to let it slip but ended up saying something. Quickly followed up by her response "it's just a car, the paint did'nt sctach". Makes me want to use improvised "tools" from her kitchen to work on my car and respond with the quote "there just utensils". heheh
  11. Haha. Pimp. Ztune = Jizz in my pants. That AMG is very nice though...
  12. Ahh nice. Shouldnt have put my money on water. lol Very good outcome. Hope all goes well with the car.
  13. Hmm quite wierd. I was thinking along the lines of diesel also but did'nt want to seem silly either. : b Im sure you would never punish your car like that... I work with aviation fuels on a daily basis and dont deal with ULP much. From the images though it seems that there is definatly an additive that has separated within the fuel. What that is? Who knows without testing it in a lab. Its hard to tell from the image but it could be contaminated with water. Most of the time water is separated from the fuel and will always sink to the bottom, however it can become entrained, therefore not visible with the naked eye. The servo "should" be doing daily checks for water, but they may have blown it off. Id confirm that they have tested it for water first. If not get hold of a shell water detector test/or similar and test for water. Eliminate that. Thats basically all you can do yourself the rest will need to be done in a lab. I wouldnt put my money on water. This fuel could have been crossloaded with something else and contaminated it, had an incompatable additive added to it or not properly tested for contamination. Hope this helps and you get your line back on the road. Let me know how it goes. Ive heard of a few similar stories from mates and would like to see how it works out. Cheers.
  14. Im considering doing this also. Not because I want an airbag but because my dash has been stained by an adhesive from the previous owner. Its only minor but it bugs me. I think I will just put the dash in and the airbag and just d/c it. Because as you said kris I dont fancy ferrying passangers around with some dodgy time bomb of an airbag in the passenger seat. Anyone done this before?
  15. Gloss black with NISSAN in white or polished silver. Simple, clean and not over the top. My 2c.
  16. Awesome! Welcome... I don't think that you will regret the decision to purchase one. Im sure you will be hard pressed in finding someone on here that will tell you otherwise. Best of luck with it all... Justin
  17. Snap! Never seen that on a GT-R before. Looks awesome man.
  18. Well im going to try Jetspeed first. Then all the regular big names Just Jap etc. of parts. Should'nt be to hard to track some down.
  19. Nice! Thanks for the info mate. I was not aware that it was options from factory. I was getting a bit worried that my GTR was a GTS-T that had been involved in an accident and they threw in a RB26 and A-LSD and everything else. But I fasted my VIN and nothing to worry about... Phew. Will be investing in some GTR pods for the rear though as I think it makes a huge impact on the overall look of the car (especially from the rear).
  20. The short story lines in games these days have actually changed the games I play now. Im more interested in simulators that are constantly updated and have alot of patches that improve it. Plus you can play it for a few weeks, put it down then pick up something else. Hoping that COD: MW 2 lives up to its expectations however. Even though COD4 was short it hasnt stopped me going through single player a few times. Developers/Producers need to think about making games last longer though, instead of churning out 2 games a year that are rubbish and are just a fad. E.g Need for Speed
  21. Just a quick question. Sorry to hijack. I have a R33 GTR V-Spec however this does not have factory rear pods. I have noticed that this is the same with alot of if not all 33 Vspec's. Anyone know the reasoning behind this? Cheers,
