  1. Just switched over today. Very happy. 2000 BNR34 GT-R V-Spec II Previously insured with Lumley SV. (Regular daily driven policy) Premium: $1812 Excess: $500 Agreed Value: $53,000 Now with NRMA VVC. (Restricted Use policy) Premium: $952 Excess: $300 Agreed Value: $65,000 Although hard to compare as they are two different usage policies im still happy. No problems with the usual mods: exhaust, wheels, suspension, intake and audio system. Lumley were not prepared to increase the agreed value so it was an easy choice considering the vehicle does not do daily duties anymore anyways.
  2. Just wondering if any of you guys will be watching any of this season or you followed closely last season? I really want to somehow stream the race or download it afterwards to follow the season however cannot really find any direction to this online. I think the the Radio Le Mans website does stream live audio coverage of the race but would really love to watch, even if it is in Japanese! I'm sure there are a few of you that are right into this so if you could point me in the right direction that would be awesome! Thanks in advance.
  3. Yeah I have heard a little bit of this occurring. And a lot of people selling almost brand new used exhausts of that type. Still trying to decide on one as at the same time don't want it too quiet. Mine does daily duties, I just don't know how much RB I can handle
  4. Nice thread mate, great read! Good to see you persisted and did the hard yards to get her going again. Just wondering how the Tomei Ti turned out and if you ended up removing it due to how noisey it is? Thinking about the same Mines and Tomei Ti combo for my R34 GT-R but bit worried it will be excessive.
  5. I'm in the market for one also. I want to try and stick OEM and realise that it is going to sting the wallet. Best I have so far is from Nengun at $820 without postage. My next point of call will be Nissan Rockdale but doubt they will be cheaper. But will try IM too, for a used one. At that price I think the coil overs are getting wound up a bit!
  6. Hey guys time for a name change after a good couple of years! Can you please to change my name to Hakosuka22. Thanks in advance!
  7. *Update* Price Drop(s) Tyres $100 for the pair. Perfect for the track! Suspension $200 Wing Blade $50 Need this stuff gone!
  8. *Update* Car arrived over the weekend with CEVA. Picked it up today. Very happy with the level of service. Took a total of 8 days from drop off to pickup Perth - Syd. Worth paying that little extra IMO. Asked to not have the car washed so there was a fine layer of dust over the car so it was clearly obvious on where the car had been touched etc (lol molested). Which was only around the door area and A-Piller. Hope this info can come in handy for someone down the track. In summary it really isn't that big of a deal if you find that "perfect" car on the other side of the country to get it to where you are, just factor in the transport costs! Cheers for the help!
  9. Very happy and it will def be looked after. Such a dream to drive! : D Def worth that bit extra!
  10. Thanks Sean. Umm estimated of 10 days transit. 8 to Melb and 2 up to Syd. Rough that is as I can imagine numerous things can draw this out.
  11. *Update* Deal fell through as the car does not meet the ride heights. Had to settle with CEVA using their Race and Prestige Transporter (RAPT). Little bit more expensive but I think will be worth it in the end. $1611. Perth-Syd via Melb Fully Enclosed. Will post details about how it went when I get the car over East. Thanks for the help/suggestions. Hope this info is of use to someone else down the track!
  12. ^ Yeah man that Nullabor straight is pretty impressive. I have done it a few times. Still patrolled by Highway Patrol too, as I found out the hard way hehe. *Update* New quote through www.automove.com.au for Syd-Perth in an enclosed container (condition: min ride height >10cm all round) $1495. Will post the company that it will be going with as soon as im aware! Cheers!
  13. Thanks Rooster I would drive it too but don't want the wear and tear on the car.
  14. ^ Holy shizzle. $3K+ that does make my $1700 look great now. Im leaning towards biting the bullet and paying it for the race prestige just for the fact that the front diffuser isn't going to get mashed, there will be no dust etc on the car. Sorry missed your topic on my search, it's a mission but all be worth it in the long run. @ Sean - Yeh man it's going to be like a big christmas present. Open the container and just zomg jizz. Hahaha
  15. Thanks guys. Yeah it does sound reasonable for what it is. And I suppose you do get what you pay for. Will make some more calls and see what else I can come up with and let you know.
  16. Hey Guys/Gals, Been looking through previous topics etc about this to find advice on what option is best. Im bringing a R34 GT-R over from Perth to Sydney. Have spoken to CEVA got a quote for $750 for normal transport depot to depot and $1700 for Race/Prestige in enclosed container. I really want to keep the car out of the elements on its journey, should this be a concern or will normal be fine? I want the container but not the price haha. Willing to pay up to $1200 there abouts. Any ideas or anyone done this before? Would rail be an option? Thanks for your help in advance. Cheers, Justin
