Anyone know of approximately how long it takes to drive there? then we can work out how long it will take to get there, do our thing, then drive back.

Hey guys, REASON FOR SALE: Finally got my hands on my dream car a few weeks ago, but now i have to go in for a very serious operation and wont be able to work for minimum 10 weeks. There for i cant make repayments on my loan and the car needs to go to a new lucky owner. STATS: '96 S2 SKYLINE GTS-T 123,XXX k's minor mods: 3" cat back exhaust Blitz BOV Blitz turbo timer (not yet installed) Boost guage (not yet installed) K&N Pod filter *BRAND NEW Car has 3 months reg. Never Boosted. I have only owned the car for about 3 weeks. I have had the car checked out and it is immaculate inside and out. last week had a engine oil change, oil filter change, gear box oil change. It has been in Australia less than a year, and considering what the car is capable of, it has been very well babied. I will be losing money on the car but such is life i guess. ok never mind.... pulled out the HKS filter, vaccumed it, was still terribly dirty. I thought because of the filters rubbery feel, it would be fine to wet. So i put it in a bucket of water and it detiriorated instantly. The moment i placed it in the bucket of water, the part i was holding seperated... and i had to pull the rest of the floating blobs out seperately. s**t happens... let this be a warning to all im off to go buy a K&N pod.

hm... i have the HKS pod filter. Any ideas on how to clean this one?? it really needs a clean...

woah... cheers pnblight. You know your boost! So im running about 9.54psi Still, judging from the pics, anyone know why im running this much???

my suspisions are that it has something to do with that line sealed with blue tac and a bolt. but again, i dont know what that line even does.... i really need to know why my car is running so much boost.... i thought removing the bleeder valve would fix this.

cheers Al, good to know im not ripping out 16psi. but i still wanna figure out how i can return to stock boost, so i can do that solenoid mod where u attacth a switch to the ground wire. Im not complaining about the power, but driving around on this much boost constantly uses ALOT of petrol... Anyone know how my car is by-passing the solenoid?

hey guys, I know only the very basics of turbo mechanics so sorry if i sound dumb. This is my first difficulty question so ill try my best to describe it... Ive owned a 1996 R33 gts-t S2 for about 2 weeks now (and i love it sooo much!). ANYWAY, I noticed i had a bleeder valve (not sure what sort), not knowing much about it i didnt tamper with it. The previous owner told me it was running stock boost. I noticed my boost (from the stock boost guage) was running at about on 5. I always thought this was PSI until the other day i noticed it said x100mmHg. A guy from turbo tune near me said that is equivelant to about 16psi??? Also when boosting to that level the car was gittery and unsmooth. So today i removed the bleeder valve and replaced it with a hose straight from the waste gate to my cooler piping (i was told to do this by a few others). I just took it for a drive and what a difference! It is now VERY smooth. BUT its still running the 5mmHg??? Anybody know what is going on here?

aaaaaaaah! mine came with that thin copper line. im shovin it down the fire wall holl from the engine bay... but I CANT FUDGING FIND IT FROM THE CABIN!!!!!!!!! IVE BEEN AT IT FOR ALMOST 2 HOURS NOW AND STILL NO LUCK!!!!!!! I have however found it running BETWEEN my front right hand panel and my cabin.... you know, you can see it from opening the drivers door and looking through the gap the hinge connects too...... this is reeeeeeeeally sending me insane. Can someone take a photo of where the fire wall hole end is from the cabin view? i just cant find it!!!!!!! plz help

haha, Defect crack down at Glenelg. Colley tce and when really busy also Mosley st. The police are calling it 'Operation Holdfast'. There intention is to stop people 'cruising' down Glenelg. I work at cibo Glenelg and our staff park is right next to the defect station... being a skyline owner, i now choose to ride my push bike to work due to fear of defect. its funny.... some guys the other day yelled out thier holden camira window "Get a car ya bum!" at me while i was riding my push bike to work.
