    Ferrari Crash

Well let this be a reminder to take care on the public road and avoid doing silly things (if that news about speed 200+ is true). No one is invincible/immune in any car, whether that's a $500 sh1tb0x or $500,000 supercar. There's been too many horrible news similar to this involving various cars (not just Ferrari or turbo imports) it's just real sad.
  2. It's for those braindeads who regularly takes their car to the beach thinking its a Hovercraft... especially when their cars' brand, ehm...I mean Hovercraft, have the same starting alphabet "H" with a Hovercraft.
  3. Gasket are relatively cheap and can be easily made if required. IMHO it would be wise to replace gaskets when you've spent that much money for labour cost of installing turbos. It won't be fun paying all those labour cost again a few weeks/months after a turbo swap, because you were trying to save a bit money for exhaust gaskets in the first place.
  4. It hurts much more than when I first bought mine. Back then, it was an easy $40/week per fillup, then it goes up to $50-ish/wk. That's with the normal use to work and back of roughly 20km travel each day, plus some weekend social outings. Before long it's gone to $60/wk and before I had a chance to get used to it I'm already spending $70/wk to keep her running. Not having to do with worse fuel consumption but more to the constantly increasing fuel prices
  5. SOLD... NO MORE...
  6. SOLD pending on payment from the 1st person offering to buy... Currently have 2nd & 3rd persons expressing interest.
  7. Still for sale. Price drop $30 delivered.
  8. All these sh1t arguments over what came out of the original Prince Skyline De Luxe? You guys should pay a respect on this car below...

  15. Happy birthday James... Maybe we should call hime Jamewasazilla till he buy another Godzilla.
  16. Same here, will wait till there's a pic of R33 installation. The mounting plate that goes to the strut tower seems a lot different between R32 and R33.
  17. Would installation be an issue for cars with Nismo strut brace which includes the brake master cylinder stopper?
  18. Well, same as buying any other used car on the market - it will never be perfect. Just be very careful if the car has been modified beyond logic and limit. Most cars would not have its original log book. I have only the Australian warranty service log book, but that has run out after 4 years of ownership, so I am only servicing my car every 5000km using top grade oils. If cars have been looked after well it should not give you problems mechanically. Most mods with these cars would be exhaust, some catback, some full. As long as it's been done properly by reputable mechanics, it should be okay. You can if possible ask the seller who is the tuner and maybe speak with the tuner and see if they remember what has been done. This is important when you cant see parts like forged pistons (but this is should be ok if they can produce a receipt and the power output reflects the level of mods). As with 94-96 models, most of them would probably be nearing 100,000kms. You need to keep this in mind as timing belt change at 100,000km can be costly (around $1000+ including major service). If they are lowered, see if it's been lowered too much and resulting in too much camber. You'd be visiting your tyre shop every few months if so. Other than that the car should only have minor blemishes. Look for a poor accident repair sign. No matter minor or major accident if the repair is poor it will give you headache down the road. Other than that generally these cars are quite reliable. Get in, go for a ride, and enjoy.

congrats to you too.. We'll be heading back to Malaysia for the wedding end of the year since most of her relatives are there, and get a few of my folks to fly over to Malaysia. Or perhaps have to make a second dining party in Jakarta if most of my relatives can't make it...
