  2. I used the nolerthane brand bushes in my 31. Was defently worth the $600 (their abouts) for the lot. did cost me $400 from memory to get the press ones in as some were a barsted and had to be cut out. MY advise would be do the ones you cant then take the arms only to mech and get them to change them over and u put them back in. also the benifit is defently worth it.
  3. Fark $3100 for that stay away, I replaced my sterring rack in my R31 when it died (was slipping in housing) and also had a new cam installed and total was $1500 i think. Repco or the like should have tie rod ends, just jap have longer ones to im pretty shore. and just give the rack a good clean and wait till it goes. and yea a wheel alimenght is a good idea and wheel balance. also look at other work shops, they may do it alot cheeper.

  6. Look at the just jap copys, just picked up a pr of recaro copys with rails for $449 from memory around $80 to freight to darwin and they ADR aproved. just need to have the rails modded to suite as they are universal read runners.

Saw this on R31 skyline club and didn't notice it here, so thought i would post it up. http://theage.drive.com.au/motor-news/new-technology-making-nonsense-of-vicroads-pplater-car-restrictions-20110327-1cbxb.html for comparison the FT 86 team is aiming for 150kw and 1200kg and the r32 GTST was 157kw and 1230kg. so both would be close to power to weight but the line would lose due to having the turbo under current law. Yet the 86 would be almost as quick.
  8. Have just brought a few items off them (not arms) but havnt had a chance to look at them properly. In saying that one if my friends who i drift with has had JJR arms on his 32 for the last 2-3 years now and hasn't had a problem as far as im aware. Also the guys at just jap are very helpfule and surportive, so if something were to go wrong in the short term im positive they would help.
  9. Cheers guys. I think ill tune it for 12 PSI. Am still thinking on high flowing, will see if the budget allows. As im pulling the turbo off any way to get the dump pipe and exhaust maifold ceramic coated.

  13. After market lsd, i think most are 4.3 tho. 3.5 is very tall suited best to cruising. and i think factory is close to 4.3. dont quote me tho

  15. Get windows removed by a windo company will cost you but its easer. plus less chance of smashing it. look at the colour code thread for colour ideas ive gone gun metal grey.

  18. Thanks for the reply guys, The nistune was defently a no brainer and same with the FMIC. Ash from what your saying im probly better off running say 12psi on the track to exstend the life of the turbo if i dont get it highflowed correct. Yea the car is manual and thats being adressed, you could defently feel the lag with it. Ive also included the first dyno run i did when still using the stock RB20 turbo but had up the boost to 14psi, didn't run it like this tho.
  19. Didn't you see my other thread? At least this looks like a active topic and hopefuly it will stay that way. I personly know of 15 skylines in darwin. mine being one of two 32 4 doors. Jay if you wona discus futher plans on getting say this club or a nissan only club in darwin pm maby we can orgonise somthing. Would sugest it be socal club tho as namsc and teda are well astablished for the racing side of things.

  21. I am going to have to look in to this, why would a ADR tho be illegal in one state and not anothre when ADR stands for Australian Desing Rule.
  22. Didnt read threw rest of the post but for the power you are planing you should get a upgraded fuel pump. i brought a walbro 500hp pump from www.horsepowerinabox.com for $160. Bosh 040 is also good just a tad more exspencive but can handle higer HP (rated to 600hp)
  23. Just after peoples opinion on my planed set up and if im missing anything. The car will be used 70/30 street track. current. Rb25DET turbo (45v2) 3" dump pipe 3" RS*R exhaust 14PSI boost comes on at 4500rpm and power is 138rwkw planed ex and in adj cam gears walbro 500hp in take pump Nistune ECU Blitz SE FMIC
  24. blits body kits www.blitsbodykits.com.au their about $740, and if you wont the CF look put some CF vinal on it. BTW i just brought one and they are well worth the money. futher more you can shove the ADR in the cops face when he tryes to ping you.
