Can u put some pics up of what your talking about will help. If u need exhaust manifold studs look at justjap.com they have them. best way to put them in is get two nuts thread them on, then try and do one up and the other undone, this binds them together so you can finsih puting the bolt in. once done undo the nuts in the opersite way as to doing them up. Not hard just need some tools. thier is a few DIY threads look for RB25 turbo upgrade on R32 GTST in the DIY section.

Ok doing a bit work on the line (read thread, R TUNES build 2.0), am painting the car gunmetal grey, and while ive got some of the eng parts off (timing belb, water pump, and ceramic coating parts) im gona dress the engine bay up. Im undecided on what colour to paint the rocker cover. Am currently thinking intake mainfol wrinkle black along with the IC piping, strut brace recromes and end paltes in gumetal (or same as rocker cover). Radiator is alloy, and will be getting blue silicon radiator hoses. Im thinking, silver or bayside blue for the eng cover. Any other ideas are welcome.

Or use a licenced road worty mechanic. Repco service centers have a 120pt (from memory) check list they use for sale inspections.

I just brought a vertex VTX kit for mine, Brought it from www.instyleauto.com.au savanamotorsport in SA (featured in motive dvd) sell origion kits, wish i had now as this was my first prefrence. oddly enought thier are a few kits getting around on EBAY at the moment, and if you have a look at importmonster.com their are a few origon kits on thier. Also if your after a vented bonnet look at www.blitsbodykits.com thier bonnets are ADR aproved.

My not get some nice dishies, may help with the looks.

Hi Jun, Very nice pics of some very nice cars. May i sugest tho, the Pic of the R33 were your behind some wood, make the back ground black and white and car in colour. would look awsome IMO.

Another place I’ve heard of that is highly recommended is Hassam (I think that the way its spelt) and im pretty shore they are in syd. Ask in the NSW section for a recommended suspension specialist.

If you realy wont a good eng RB34DETT RB30 bottom end, spool 3.4L stroker kit, RB25/6 head.

With that boost i probly would get the rebuild kit. Cheep insurance IMO.

Ah k time for a update, Have brought the follow, Rear camber arms alloy 52mm 2 core radiator the blits FMIC as mentiond above (had to wait for it to arive at just jap) pair of recaro look alike seats and rails (from just jap) in black cloth HEL ADR aproved brake lines New center vents clear indiactors catch can SRI solid bush for stering collom (in one in side eng bay) and got it for $29 inc postage from just jap. push start button kit N1 water pump. Will be able to start building it very soon, so some good pics to come.

What car will the diff suite?

Payed $6500 for mine but is auto.

I managed to get a full sony sound system for 1k, came with headunit (ipod compatable and USB dock), 6.5 splits, 6x9 3 ways. 12" sub in box and mono amp. and wiring kit. i got it threw wow sight and sound (not avalable in southen states to my knowlage). but if you look around, say autobarn, jb hifi, stafild. you might come accross a complet package for something close to your budget. and installing isn't hard. theri should be a few threads in the DIY/ fab sections on how to install radio gear. Just rember to keep your old stuff for when you wona change back.

You will defently need a tune, have being running my r32 with the 45v2 turbo (rb25 series 2) @ 14psi had to drop it back down as it was pinning in the upper revrange. also ive noticed the boost comes on about 4500rpm, mind you i only have exhaust, dump, boost controler fitted ATM. If you wont a cheep ecu, look at www.nistune.com matt (the owner) might be able to put a diffrent map in it that would work for you, just ask him. I know he did this for me when they first started. had put a custom cam in my RB30 along with a few other mods and stock ECU wasn't running properly.

Do the 5x8 fit in the facotry door trims?

Havnt read the latest one yet, but looks good. have enjoyed rreading them. One thing i do like is fast fours (sistermag) is documenting a build of a RB34 stroker kit from spool imports. I wont one.

New ECU's (current type cars) can learn, e.g if you are an agrasive driver holds the revs longer. I have felt this in a 03 car were i was agresive in driving and my dad wasnt and i did notice a diffrence in how it drove when we swaped cars. But i think the performance /fuel diffrence is small and realy comes down to how u drive.

Nistune cost's $420 for the ECU and budget about $300-$400 for a tune depending on how much is required. e.g My old R31 skyline, but a cam and cam gear in a nistune at the same time. Took 3hours to tune from the factory tune. also you would probly notice a power loos if you went to your track exhasut set up if you tuned the car with a street exhasut (due to the lack of back pressure). IMO just keep the exhaust on when u drift. Your current exhaust should be fine. Also you mentiond you are going to use both clutch fan and thermo fans?? Can u elaberate how u plan to set this up. However for your info a clutch fan generly flows more air then a thermo fan set up thus better cooling.
