most likly the stock by pass valve which acts in the same way as a blow off valve but in sted of vent to atmosphare it goes back in to the intake. im not shore if the 33's have them or not but the saab's and evos do. and in a saab you can get the fluter sound by reving the car (while on steep incline in 2nd) (as they have a winter but which disenages 1st) and and then relise when you reach red line and you get the bov sound. so thats what it might be. if your still worry go a auto repair shop and get them to check it out

sorry i was just saying that if you look in the back ground of one of the vidoe clips it has a photo that i believe is tom cruiz when top gun was taken. and if you wont to check the pic for authenticity have a look at the back of the top gun dvd or vhs

ive seen a few users on this web site whos pics resemble the cars from the movie "cars". like thier own car has being editied to look like the ones from the movie. if somebody is able to do this could this could you plz pm me. thanks. cause i realy like thos pics. ill try and find an example

calder parkthis year is not that exspencive $40 to race. however another type (maby circute/drift) in the east would be grate, as it gives us more then one option in which to race. maby it should not be every suburb that has a drag stripbut every councile i.e nilumbick, whitehorse. and yes calder does get cramped. i.e. my self and another member from r31skylineclub went to calder last week. we got there at 5.30pm and started raceing at 6.00pm and got in 6 runs each however we left at 9.00pm aas after the burnout comps the line was back to the entery point and filling, so i would take over 1h to race for 16sec. so if we had a second or thired venue it would help to elimonate congestion as well as give people who don't live close a place to race. and r31sky if you can provide me with clubs that use sandown i will go.

tapeditlatsnight so i could watch it when i got home from the amryreserves.(myplace of work). watched it for the whole two hours untill 2am, and boy do i love it. if anybody puts up spoilers i will hunt you down and kill you jake Bauer style 'joke'

i would report it man thats so unfair. i got pulled over on aus day for a "random licence and regerstration check" im like ok. so the coper aproches and i say happy aus day he says same. tell me what hes after im like kool. asks general stuff name dob addy ect. then he ask what ive being doing and what i plan to do i tell him. i say marched in aus day perade for aus army, going to calder park to race this night. he's like surpised and say well done. has a quicke look around the car. then says nice car heads back to his. comes back about 1 min later and says have a nice day. im in the northen suburbs so not all cops are like u'rs but i would report it.

sent email after reading the artical. would be good if they did use Sandown. give use antoher option to race at.

i went to the last fun day. for any body that was there i was in the white r31 with the BIG spoiler. i found it grate cause your notforcedto push your self, so you can go as hard as you fell you can with no pressure of lossing. defently take tools. if you can get say a basic set of 3/8 sockets and spanners would be a good start.i recermend repco as thier reserbly priced and thier warrentyis good. i use 1.5 takes of fuel 1 tanks to get there and back and .5 tanks for raceing about 1.5h worth. do take extra brake fluid and get some good (high temp) pads as your street pads wont last more then a cupple of laps. and dont buy the fuel from the track as its exspencive. just go and have fun

well i own a r31 non turbo and moded with about 7g worth. and im 20. impaying $990 a year full comp with RACV. so you could try them. the car is in my dads name tho. i think it was going to cost me about $1500 in my name. aami wonted 3k when my car was stock and in my dad's name for full comp. thats how much i payed for the car.
