  1. 4. Post photos! - Where possible, add images to your post. This is by far the best way to show off the items you are selling and give any potential buyers the best indication as to their condition etc. Posting photos will also cut out the "pics please" comments and help you to sell your items faster and easier 5. If you have multiple items for sale, post them all in a single thread! - do not create new threads for each item. A single thread is much easier to manage and helps reduce the amount of clutter in the classifieds section! 6. No posting on behalf of others! - If your mates want to advertise their parts here on SAU, tell them to register - If you dont own it, dont post it for sale. 7. No external links! - Do not post likes to items being sold on e-bay, or other forums. If you wish to start a thread advertising the same items on SAU, you must include all details and price in your thread. Asking people to refer to e-bay for more info is not acceptable. If you're too lazy to copy and paste the details on here, your thread will be deleted.
  2. Above was from Mike, on a GTR sale thread. Not exactly sure how much of a brother you really are Mike.
  3. I PM'd you Roy. Get back to me when you can. Thanks.
  4. Not quite sure where you are going with this build but these threads might help. They all deal with increasing the capacity of a RB20. Read the stickies in this forum for heaps of information on suitable turbos. You will probably have to think about a gearbox upgrade as well. Good luck with it. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...tml&hl=rb24 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pr...tml&hl=rb24 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...tml&hl=rb24
  5. Amazingly enough, I didn't, but thanks for asking.
  6. A few months ago, I drove to a park near home with my dog and young son, for a walk/play/whatever. There is a large gravel shoulder going into the park and it's the only place to park. As I was walking back to my car (R32 gtst), I saw this shitty old Ford ute (XB,XC ??) pull in and do a big gravel burnout, showering dust, stones and gravel all over my car. I was f**king spewing. I saw him take off and quickly do a right then a left turn. I hopped into the car and said to my son, I bet this silly f**k lives around here. Sure enough, I found him in about 45 seconds, took his number and went home and rang the cops. They were very keen to follow up. They asked me if they seized the car, would I be prepared to make a statement. I said bloody oath. They said most people are too scared to follow up on hoon reports and the cops can't do anything unless the witness is prepared to make a statement. They went around to this dickheads place and he admitted that he'd done it. He told the cops that he didn't notice another car or any people there. They seized his shitbox (registered to his Mum) and fined him. Suck eggs you dumb f**k. I told the cops to make sure they tell him that if he hadn't showered my car in crap I probably wouldn't have done anything. Mind you, bashing the stupid prick would have been more satisfying than ringing cops but I'm getting too old for that sort of workout.
  7. Search here and on Google for lots on the KKR units. Mostly not to positive but anyway, have a read. Ditto for lots of turbo and other options for RB20. See the stickys at the start of Forced Induction forum for lots of info. I do feel for you though. There's so much info that you may have even more questions afterwards. Anyway, lots of options is always a good thing. Good luck.
  8. I swapped out my stock RB20 gear for one of BATMBL's combined stainless split dump and front pipes and at the same time fitted a Kakimoto system. Couldn't be happier with the results. Easy fit, more power and sounds great. Only time anyone would notice anything noise wise, is if I really stomp on the power. That's pretty much the way I like it.
  9. Good of you to post all that R32Abuser. I'm hoping I'll be able to get this kit next time around. It's nice to have that sort of feedback to help with decisions. Another advantage of a 'normal' system over coilovers is the longevity. It kind of scares me that kids are fitting thousands of dollars worth of coilovers + huge rims with low profile, soft compound tyres. With any sort of hard driving a set up like this would need to be refitted a couple of times a year at least. I'm guessing most of them are driving around with the handling of a dog on lino. Either that or they are all doctors and stockbrokers and can afford the maintenance.
  10. Okay, here goes. First, what a great forum. I've been lurking for a month or so. Just bought a freshly imported R32 GTS-T and drove it 200 kms last night. I've always wanted something decent and fun to drive (been driving a Diesel Patrol ute for 15 years) and my requirements start with rear wheel drive. I've owned and driven a heap of cars including all sorts of Holdens and Fords and was blowing around Sydney in my mates WRX the other day when we were visiting from VIC. This is what got me hankering after a turbo. Now, let the gushing begin. Forget performace for a minute. This is one hell of a rock solid car. I couldn't belive how well weighted it feels and how it just feels planted on the road. For me the steering felt a lot more "true" than the Subie, and this for a pretty old car. Compared to the Holdens and Fords I've driven I felt like I was driving a Porsche. I've read other forums where the V8 vs Turbo crap does it's thing again (and again) but all this performance stuff aside, these cars flog the Aussie product into the dirt I'm afraid to say. My missus drives a VT that we bought new in '98 and it felt like a boat compared to this thing not to mention the creaks and groans from new. If I'd known better I would have bought a four door Skyline for a family car. Anyway, point is I feel like an idiot for waiting so long. Thanks to all the enthusiast who finally got me to see the light. Incidentally, I've allowed a healthy budget for slow and steady upgrades. I want to start by getting rid of some weight before any other mods. In no great hurry really. And yes I know I'll hit problems and be swearing at the thing some days but today I'm really happy. And anyway, when I hit problems I'll have you guys to turn to. Thanks Willie
