  1. Thanks mate. Yeah, I can't edit here for some reason. Mods? I'll have a look at yours and get back to you. Thanks.

  3. I think he's just pointing out that stock gauges (in all models as far as I can tell) are notoriously inaccurate and more so when mods come into the equation.
  4. Indonesia?, Equatorial Guinea?, Uzbekistan? Do tell. Catalytic converters have been round for a long time now. I'm wondering what sort of place allows you to run on the street without them. I'm guessing the President has a uniform and the national pastime is survival.
  5. Like the topic says, are R32 front and rear strut braces interchangeable between 2 door and 4 door? I did search but couldn't find anything. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
  6. Apologies if I missed the info but as Lara used to say, "where the bloody hell are ya!"
  7. Wow Claire! That's $100 less than CRD's members price. Can you do this unbelievable deal for any of us?
  8. No, I'm pretty sure he had an Azerbaijani mum and his dad was from Burkina Faso. He was a kinda green colour and I think he had a purple arse. Anyway, the dead giveaway was that he was dumb, racist and illiterate. Do NOT buy cars from anyone who matches this description.
  9. Yeah, of course I do. Thanks.
  10. Couldn't agree more. If humans never considered a few dumb/off-centre/left-field ideas, where would we be? Good on him for thinking about something. Leave the boy alone! (and so WHAT if someone wants to do something for looks. Looks is okay.)
  11. If I am then I'm happy to be it. I've ridden bikes for years, and owned a Ducati at the time. I can't stand riders like this. Saturday morning, main drag, 60 zone. Anyway, I assumed him to be dead and was more concerned with the poor driver who looked....began to make a safe turn....and couldn't work out where the bike had come from. If it's a sin to have no concern for people who happily endanger the lives of others and then ruin their own lives, mark me as guilty. (and btw, I'm not sure sociopaths go out of their way, to offer to be witnesses. If I hadn't, the driver could have been accused of making a dangerous turn, which he did not.)
  12. A couple of years ago I saw someone pulling a long mono on a high powered bike. He was screaming through the gears and was doing over 150 (60 zone) when he flew past me. (I was walking). A ute coming the other way started a right turn. The bike would have been 100 metres away when he started to turn. Still mono-ing, he hit so hard that it spun the ute 90 degrees. It took me half a minute to walk up. The poor bastard in the ute was in shock and was just getting out. I stepped over the guy on the bike/ground, to go and console the guy driving the ute and to say I would be a witness. I didn't even look at the POS on the ground. Later, I was disappointed to discover that he didn't die. But he was paralysed. From what the cops said, his driving/riding record was pretty spectacular.
  13. You need to firstly upload your pics somewhere. I use http://img80.imageshack.us/ (You don't have to join, to use it) Then click on the little "mountain" looking pic on the Posting toolbar. It asks for a URL of your images. Paste in the URL provide by your host site. All pretty easy once you get going. I'd like to see pics of the plenum and know which make it is, if possible. Thanks.
  14. You'll probably get more help by asking this in the Importing forum section. I've read plenty on these questions over there. There is also another section for Wanted to Buy. Good luck.
  15. Check out these. Should cost less than most of the private places. http://www.cae.edu.au/?category=145 http://www.confuciusinstitute.unimelb.edu.au/ http://www.lyceum.com.au/ http://www.shortcourses.rmit.edu.au/index....19ebb5160b1407e
  16. There are a lot of options. I presume you want to learn Mandarin. These days everybody seems to speak it but in the old days it was mostly Cantonese spoken here. You can do 1 month (or more) intensive courses in China. They don't cost a lot but it's a commitment and you will learn. Otherwise there are all sorts of options here. RMIT and the Unis will have courses. Whether or not they have night school arrangements (ie. not a full Degree) I'm not sure. There are also (expensive) courses for business Chinese. I'm sure there are plenty of low priced classes around. (Maybe CAE and the Tafes) Whatever way you go about it, it takes a fair bit of work. Speaking is the easy part. If you don't have to read and write, that's a lot better. Even reading isn't too bad but writing is pretty difficult. There are even some CD pack, type things that are not a bad start but I would suggest lessons as well. Most importantly, you will have to mix with Native speakers (there are plenty here) or you'll never get hold of it. I found Chinese people here, more than happy to help and correct you. Of course they get a good laugh out of it as well. Good luck. It's a great language and in many ways easier (grammatically) than English. It's not toooo hard to get to a point where you will be understood and can understand others.
  17. Probably in this sub forum.... Cosmetic and Styling Mods Bodykits, Rims, Paint and Panel, and other Interior and Exterior mods or in the Sales/Wanted to Buy areas.
  18. No one gives a shit what you think. This looks like a nice car and any genuine buyer can sort the issues out for themselves. You have blatantly broken forum rules on your own GTR SALES thread, and now you come here to give your unwanted and useless opinions on another persons car. I would have posted this on your thread but you have been bumping it so desperately that I was not about to help you.
  19. Thanks for the answers re. this and the RB2.2. Appreciate it guys.
  20. Great topic. I want to eventually go this way as well. I've got 2 questions for anyone who can help. Sorry if they seem a bit dumb. Firstly, if you have the Apexi FC + controller for an RB20, is it going to be entirely useless with the new stroked engine? Secondly, why do folks guess that Lewis Engines goes with a 2.25 stroker? I mean, for the same effort and similar money in parts (???) I can't work out why they wouldn't go with a 2.4. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks. http://www.lewisengines.com.au/prod158.htm
