  1. Ibi....not Bibi
  2. got mine installed (including air temp sensor install), tuned and handcontroller for $1600
  3. We'vd PM'ed each other on this matter so u know my praises on the Wolf3Dv4 with the new updated version (4.5x i belive, if u guys havent updated, go do it guys!), it has a great feature of "Airtemp Ignition Compensation" which i belive the PowerFC doesnt have (among alot of other things) so if your tuning on a nice cool day, up the timing but come a 40degree and youll be pinging off your tits. The compensation will allow for this and retard/advance needed personally im more than happy with the unit i had mine installed and tuned by Rank Rotory

    Damn Nark! :D

theres your attitude right there 1. myself and amber mentioned to all/most/attempted what direction we were going 2. the "mccr" people that were there arnt too fond of mccr, friends of amber that have our issues with mccr so please dont associate us with them 3. get over it bro, youll live longer
  5. im having problems with my TPS too, although different to your cases i dont get any flat spots not idle problems but on my handcontroller for the Wolf the TPS sensor reads all sorts of numbers when i have my foot off the throttle sometimes at WOT, sometimes halfway, but this doesnt effect the engine at all which baffles me because the wolf uses TPS/Load/etc to determin ignition/fuel/etc seems to reset to 0 TPS when u rest your foot on the accelerator, but once u let all of it go, it goes erratic im thinking dodgy earth? connections seem fine though i dont know
  6. yeah, and iv put two bovs on it but i have the intention of posting up soon, yet another thread on my two bovs and afm issues on a GTS :uh-huh:
  7. its a possibility...
  8. plus i do recall saying to everyone "down springvale, nepean hwy/beach rd" to station pier u followed like a bunch of sheep, for all u know the mccr poofs were going home, how knows
  9. what makes me laugh is the person that said "you only have skylines" is me and infact..i OWN a skyline, and in fact..i dont refer skylines with BOVs and Wings you guys have really gotta lighten up :uh-huh: dood, your having the sook here im not supporting mccr in anyway, i have my issues with them..i just dont like the attitude u guys reflect of SAU
  10. the guys name is rory his having stalling problems cos his 1. running a heavy duty clutch and learning 2. tuning problems causing his car to be erratic on idle which would be the main contributor as for the mazda6, think that was a civilian but i think your overly large wings and badly mounted body kits take the cake though but its all good, u guys make me laugh
  11. as its been said, dont try and make something it aint...Ts and Rs are totally different cars, in my opinion the problem is that some commo hero in his clubsport is gonna race some wanna b R, get bitch slapped in the race and that commo driver is gonna go back to his wife and kids and say "hey love, i raced a GTR and beat him" cos he wouldnt know the difference between the two have respect for the person that forked out the extra ~$30k on a more refined car personally, if i owned an R id be might pissed off, much like that tuesday morning down princess me gtst some tosser infront of me ina GTR badged/three spoke GTSt a behind me was a R33 GTR stopped at the lights, i look over at the GTR owner and smile and point at the tosser in the GTSt with a the GTR badge he laughed, i laughed, that GTSt boy left in shame
  12. GTS-t VSPEC throttle response, possibly but through my tests i found that it was THAT noticable noticable YES, but not to the extreme of some peoples suggestions Sil8ty the reason why re circulating valves were placed on engines is for the noise your regular jo blow buying a turbo car doesnt want to hear flutter so buy putting in the recirulating valve in, u get rid of that slight muffled noise (cos obviously the airbox supresses the noise too) and releave the compressor surge BUT, alot of the aftermarket bov i see on peoples are ARNT put in properly for it to work properly with ZERO surge, it should vent at the slightest amount of back pressure just like the factory valve does nb: no need for the sarcasem Sil8ty, BOV is like debating religion..itll never end
  13. :bahaha: hahaha, u people make me laugh Danny32, take off the plum back, stick on a metal plate in its place, bolt it in and reap the rewards of flutter 100% that your turbo will be fine in years to come stick on a pod filter, partition it off to get the sound more audible leave the bov preachers to their marketing ploy enjoy
  14. i had the factory CD/Tape/Tuner in (Double Din??) and i changed that over to a single CD player now As a result, there is a nice ugly hole underneath the unit where the factory unit occupied that space iv read somewhere here that the Z32(300ZX) "Dash Insert" fits perfectly in that space 1. From Nissan, brand new, this insert is $100 <- try justify that 2. Nissan/Zed wreckers dont have any/cant find any What else can be done to fill up this space? (nothing stupid like, "oh put a safc pos in there") id prefer to block it with a peice of plastic or some kind of plastic "pocket" or even some kind of CD holder any help? what have others done?
  15. personally i do what most do, start, wait a min or two then drive off and stay off boost till water temps get +60degrees celcius i read in a recent Merc users guide for a car that i dont remeber, and it said "dont let the car idle to warm it up in the one spot...start the engine, let idle for a min, then drive but keeping the rpm's low. this is a more effective method of warming up all engine components" or something along those lines
  16. why dont u just get a new intake pipe to the turbo i just got my workshop to fabricate a new metal intake pipe...problem solved and "pipe sqwish" solved
  17. RB25 turbo gasket, dump pipe section that sits on the exhaust housing second hand or brand new, theyre hard to find, can anyone help out?
  18. i had mine replaced with a genuine nissan belt, was something close to the $120 mark an aftermarket one was slightly less personally, $140 is nothing considering what COULD happen if the job was not done properly dont skimp on it mate, its a small price to pay for the peace of mind it provides
  19. regarding the girl in the pink top: take it easy u desperadoes, some people actually know her and are good friends with her watch what u say she has a boyfriend
  20. bump selling cheaper than most BOVs here, works fine and WITH adapator
  21. thinking of selling my Blitz BOV example of which one im talking about its in perfect condition, im just sick of BOV noise and want to allocate the cash on suspension instead it came with a pipe to suit the stock return pipe from the cooler for the RB25DET, its useless to me cos i dont use the stock cooler anymore i also made an adaptor to suit that can make the BlitzBOV sit in the factory plumback/BOV location in case u get defected all u have to do it unbolt the adaptor, put the factory BOV back in and your fine the adaptor is in stainless steel, a nice piece of metal really i dont have a digi camera but your more than welcome to come see it/hear it i must say though, no other bov sound is as unique and meaty as the Blitz, one of the best sounds im looking for $300 firm on JUST the bov +$20 if u want the jap return pipe kit or +$50 for the adaptor PM me or post here
  22. done and done...makes my life easier
  23. actually, i was going to suggest we meet up at the carpark further down the road where RedHeads use to be... Melway Ref 2KE6, its a pretty big carpark, should be enough ill keep the route, ill make the suggestion that its not a race but theres always going to be a hand full of tossers also, authers seat carpark isnt that big either and i doubt it can hold anymore than 20cars up there ill work something out though
  24. guys, im just writing out the route for the night and we have a couple of problems that i wanted to discuss first off: when we say "albert park pits" were refering to Aughtie Drive on the pit straight yes? ok, other stuff is this is showing hints of being a big turn out cos there are several clubs that are coming, and because iv mapped out a route with with some tight twisties streets and high speed sweaping turns im affraid it may be a problem with anything more than 20 cars suggestions people: 1. stuff it, lets take the route thats mapped 2. keep it sedate, hwys and main roads
