  7. I am fairly keen - on taking one of the cars Is there any further information around what kind of event this is? (link above dosent not clarify for mine) Cheers Morgs
  8. Pretty impressive, the torque would be the thing that would make it something to drive. What sort of gearbox have you got behind it?
  9. Hi team, With due consideration I've also decided to sell my 180sx track toy. The previous owner did the majority of work - the vehicle had been basically set up as a drag car. Anyone who has tried to convert a drag car to a circuit car can attest that quite a bit of work is required to do so - with the exception of a few pieces such as oil cooler & some more hardcore suspension this thing is ready to go. Personally owned it for around a year & done approx 1,500 to 2,000km total driving - none of which include any time on the track!! It has made ~330rwkw @ 23psi and run low 11s @ 129mph, currently making ~300rwkw @ 19psi (flatter boost curve for circuit - last thing it needs is more power at this stage ) That said, should make 350rwkw @ 25psi and I'd love to know what it'd make with bigger fuel system, E85 & 2 bar Below specifications: Engine (SR20 built approx 10,000km ago): - Eagle Rods - CP pistons - King bearings - ARP rod bolts - GFB underdriven crank pulley - New oil pump + water pump - Genuine gasket kit - Tomei 270 deg 12.5mm procams - Tomei solid lifters - Tomei cam gears - Tomei valve springs - Tomei rocker arm stoppers - 1mm oversized stainless valves - ARP headstuds - Cometic head gasket 1mm - Ported inlet + exhaust ports Turbo/support: - Garrett GT3076 0.63 56T - Turbosmart 38mm external gate - Custom steampipe low mount 4-1 exhaust manifold - Braided oil + water lines - 4" intake, apexi pod - Twin Walbro intank fuel pumps - Malpassi fuel regulator - Nismo 740cc injectors - 40mm alloy radiator - Z32 AFM - Splitfire coilpacks - Greddy profec B spec 2 - PowerFc - Front mount cooler - New CUSCO catch can - 3" exhaust, 2 magnaflow mufflers + resonator - Cusco 6 point cage - Custom single plate clutch by NPC built to hold 400rwkw - Factory flywheel and low KM late model S13 5 speed box - 4.3 viscous LSD - Whiteline HD adjustable sway bars - Whiteline lock and align kit - Strut braces front and rear - D-project adjustable castor rods - D-project lower arm brace - S14 5 stud conversion - R33 GTST front brakes, S14 rears - brand new DBA4000s all round with DS2500 pads (literally 200km old) - KYb adjustable shocks and king springs - S15 wheels with near new tyers (OR: R32 GTR rims with NEW Kuhmo KU36s negotiable) Price: $16,999 negotiable. I'll consider offers however please keep in mind that this dosen't need to sell. 10. Good job Paul, f**k that thing looks a handfull
  11. RB26s beg for a big turbo, don't go down the TD route Silent fuel pump dosen't nessicarily mean isn't a big one - have had dual in-tank pumps or single 044 which when mounted correctly are completely silent. Your best bet is to get it your nearest Dyno & with all the appropriate gear and see how it goes..... you'll be able to touch up the tune / ensure fuel pressure is appropriate and then have all the fact to be able make a call on if you need to change the setup.
  12. I'm assuming from you post that its not yet in your posession, hence the sort of speculative question? Throw it on the road..... once you open it up you'll realise that you won't want to replace it with anything else If insane horsepower isn't quite what you were looking for, you 'll pretty much need to go outside the TRUST stable of turbos to find something suitable. A GT35 would fit the bill in terms of reducing lag and providing similar power levels (though you could consider a GT30 the next size down if need be).
  13. You're not looking to trade into a 34GTR by chance?
  14. WTF is that monster... White R35 GTR today @ Glebe... I was in the white 34GTR sitting at the lights.. sounded good
  15. How many KMs on the motor? How much power was it making/etc? What sort of condition is the gearbox & suspension in? Do you have an image of the catch can? (& suspension) contact themorgs @ hotmail.com Cheers
  16. Too wet for me.... just opened a bottle of red instead!
  17. What a move & what a story. You have giant balls. Love your work!!
  18. I've seen the results of a couple of these vehicles at "a crashlab in NSW" post circa 60km/h incident test. The results were incredible (not in a good way), particularly when you compare them to a similar age Commodore. When you talk about safety features like airbags etc- I'm not too sure these are going to help in this case...... I don't doubt China will be building our cars in the future - but I will not be getting into one of the current ones on the market. * Disclaimer: This is my view only
  19. PM me a price...... don't even need pretty welds (track car)
  20. So anyone from the North Island actually here? Just dropped over for a visit, it was sweet as....
  21. Hi all, Need something with reasonably large capacity (I.e. not a little china spec 500ml can) I'm in Sydney, can do pickup (unless you want to cover freight) Cheers
  22. A 1995 Nissan Bluebird (I've not put too much thought into the next one.... )
  23. Why do all these 'vs' threads go off on a tangent & turn into a shitfight?? Have owned a GTT in the past, and driven around a F6 for a while. They're both great cars. I decided to buy a GTR instead of a new F6. The F6 will tear the balls off anything but a heavily modified GTT in a straight line, and they're not too badly appointed in terms of brakes/suspension; enough to hold their own stock for stock against the more nimble Skyline. The obvious advantage I see to the GTT is financial - they're better on fuel, much cheaper to acquire & will depreciate less.
  24. These still for sale? Cheers
  25. gram lights... I think they may be the above model however as mine are only 5 spoke..
