  1. It is something like a five figure fine for having a gutted cat? or is that just an old wives tale?
  2. Consider though the budget when you are upgrading. a GT30 will require an external gate whereas the GT25 will not? GT25 has virtually no lag, as good or better than a stock turbo ive heard in that department. Consider what sort of power figure you what when you pick the turbo... if youre after 220rwkw go a GT25, if you're after more, perhaps you might need something more substantial...
  3. I think about this quite alot.... i wonder what cars are going to be like in a decade or more. Are turbo cars going to be looked upon like old school big block 70s V8s are now? Are we going to have electric cars? Are they going to be quick? What about mods? Long live the combustion engine!!!
  4. Interesting... Congratulations Dave! Sounds like it it going to be a weapon. :uh-huh:
  5. Car is going in the Trading Post for $15900 ono today
  6. Im sure i'll be around on Friday... might have to go skank hunting prior to Friday to fill up the spare seats
  7. From memory Kabab ran a 2.1 sec 60 footer on dodgy compliance tyres?!
  8. Nissanpower: I Pm'd you. My number is 0403 312 068, feel free to give me a call. Pete, i've got some time this upcoming week, will call you then.
  9. Turned up for a while, good to see you guys... Nice little location there, i never knew there was a Burger King there
  10. Non turbo supras will run mid to high 14s stock... thats not too shabby from a n/a 3L.... they feel alright to drive... but there is no way i could handle owning one, you'd forever be missing the feeling of the RZ.. Buy my R32
  11. I can see your point, that the refinement in never cars has muffled the raw driver feel that something older provides. The commodore is alot different than the Skyline for more than obvious reasons, and often critisised for poor steering feel. In regard to R32-->R34 GTR, the R34 GTR is much more refined and smoother, it has all the benefits of development whereas the R32 has more raw driver appeal, not to say it is not smooth in relation to say a commodore of the same age. Unfortuantely, you pay for it through the nose R32 GTR with some bolt on bits, provided it isn't teetering on the edge of a rebuild/thrashed, then im sure it'll provide you many km of driving enjoyment
  12. We've got to sell it: 1992 R32 GTSt Skyline Type M 5 Speed manual RB20DET Aftermarket Suspension Full Kakimoto Exhaust Turbo Timer 12 Months Rego New Tyres Might have missed some things. Any inspection is welcome. Had a few interested parties, who are in no particular hurry. Looking in the area of $16K, and the price is not fixed. Email [email protected] , PM me, or leave a reply here, and we'll talk :uh-huh: Plenty more pics avaliable
  13. No no... not all show no go.... of course the GTT is no slouch, especially once you warm it up, but the GTR is much more performance orientated. The R34 has other benefits to offer over the GTR, such as refinement, looks, age, and condition. Anyway, im sure this argument has no conclusion, next week Andy will want a WRX
  14. Congratulations, good to see another gunmetal battle cruiser. You'll have fun
  15. Andy.. go the GTR.. you know you want to. R34s look great on the street, but GTRs have a dominant presence. In a way, it is a question of show or go, the GTR will always outperform its newer counterpart. Ask yourself, if you are after an almost identical car with some newer bits and pieces, or if you are after a change in driving experience. Consider too, resale value with the purchase. It is entirely likely that depreciation will occur on a much greater scale with the R34 than the R32. I doubt it would be as extreme as the R33s due to the upcoming change in the import rules, but it would still be on my list when evaluating the two. You only live once, make the most of the opportunity, go the R
  16. Its a gunmetal grey R32 GTSt, exhaust, filter, suspension, the usual mods, and pricewise looking at about $16K. Put it in the TP for $17K but mostly time wasters from there.
  17. LOL you guys are BAD! I just realised it was Friday the 13th that night.. that explains everything
  18. Anyone like to buy a foglamp?
  19. Maybe i too am biased, but life is not all about launching the car.. once you're off the line the GTSt will kill the GTS4... big weight difference. Less stress on brakes etc with the weight of the GTSt too, tighter around the twisties too i'd wager. For the right price, you could have my R32 GTSt
  20. Diabolik1: I tried to PM you but you are too popular (Inbox is full)
  21. How about the best of both worlds? A nice small nimble car, equipt with a RB motor.... Looks good, goes good... R32 GTSt ! Oh... i have one for sale... how about that?
  22. Howie, Its just the stock R32 GTSt later trim passenger seat, perfect condition, as per the picture above The recaro is gone
  23. Hi Howie. Im in NSW The car had a recaro in it, which i swapped for two stock seats, one of which is the one for sale
