  3. Ouch! But as long as you had fun thats the main thing Cars can always be repaired (and its half the fun of being an enthusiast!) Ill see what pics I can scrounge from Saturday nite...
  4. LOL Al, NUTR33 is trying to steal your "Best Entertainer" making smoke reputation NB: Image downloaded from emts 's album - Thanks for some awesome shots!! Here is a video that I quickly edited this arvo (whilst nursing a hangover!) I only had video footage of Lukes runs due to being busy helping out NUTR33 DECA Day May 2009 PM me if you cant view it and will try to fix it (Uploading to You Tube tonight to make more publicly available - currently hosted on facebook) And then the mandatory group shot out the front of the restaurant.....

  8. Ill see if I can rally a couple of locals for assistance. (Good friends)
  9. Dont know. I tried to get one just for the Sat nite and they wouldnt do it unless I had someone else to take the Friday night and they didnt have to clean, but that was when the cabins were all still on hold so they may not worry now.
  10. Ah crap you mean they are taking one night bookings now? Oh well
  11. Helping out is easy I had my first DECA day last time and everyone was great explaining what I had to do and when do to it. Its great to be in the thick of the action. Hope so see you there
  12. Change of plans for us. Ive booked a spa room at the Parklake through wotif Long story short - In the end the caravan park wouldnt let me book a cabin for one night only so I chose the closest possible motel to the caravan park and looked for a decent price.
  13. I discussed it with hubby and went ahead and booked an ensuite cabin - now we dont have to worry about driving the half hour home, getting there and deciding we are too stuffed to drive back into town again We are coming out to play Saturday night - YAYYYY! Our first SAU Vic evening outing I CANT WAIT!
  14. Lol - Rain - nothing an umbrella cant fix, although sadly - the way we are going up here - it is doubtful that it will rain
  15. Count me in Had fun last time. Flaggy for Long Wang in morning please and in the arvo on the skid pan recording times if needed - if these are already taken I am happy to do anything that will be of assistance

    Wedding Idea's

Yes We are both car nuts, and all of our friends know how much hubby loves his car and the long story behind it so I figured it could be a cool novelty.

    Wedding Idea's

Argh! Since IE died on me I have to start all over again Congrats on the engagement Luke and I were married March last year and I wanted to include his Skyline as much as we could, as it was his pride and joy. (and we are both car nuts!) For cars, we had his skyline as the "main" bridal car - He and the best man and grooms man arrived in his car at the ceremony/reception. My bridesmaid was also in another skyline, and my maid of honor travelled in another. I arrived in a HSV clubsport, for similar reasons to your fiance, I didnt want to get in and out of the skyline in my big boofy dress and also I wanted my dad to be in the car with me (he gave me away) Here are some pics: All lined up for a photo shoot: and as they arrived at the ceremony/reception: For the guys bonbonieres we used Put It Out There and had personalised stubby coolers made up in blue with white writing. They were awesome to deal with, we had the get away car as the picture and got them to change the number plate from "HELLO" to "NUTR33" which is hubbys number plate. I definately reccomend them to anyone!! Perhaps the most talked about (and one of my favourite features) at our wedding was our personalised cake toppers..... I had a mini replica "NUTR33" skyline made up, along with a custom bride and groom!! Irene was amazing - and the price at the time was a BARGAIN! (I think its gone up significantly now though) My mother in law and sister in law made the cake and decorated it, and now we have our cake toppers sitting in a display cupboard to keep forever Irene Frost - Sweet Frost Tops And for resources and ideas, I joined up to the forums at www.i-do.com.au and found some awesome advice and reccomendations. Anyway enough rambling from me for now - Feel free to PM me if you have any more QN's or want some more pics
  18. I think vic street scene have a cruise to coburg on the 25th (cant remember off top of my head) to see the movie for those who cant make this one.
  19. My advice as someone who works as a service receptionist for a private mechanic is keep trying and dont let anyone get you down. There is a young girl around here who tried to get on as an apprentice mechanic, kept getting knocked back (she thought it was because she was a girl) and just gave up. Another good tip is to pay attention and give your 110% in the pre apprenticeship course - Im in the country but know of a few mechanical workshops around here that have put their first year apprentices on through reccomendations from the TAFE teachers of the pre apprenticeship course. Good Luck with the job hunt! Cheers Anna
  20. LOL I'll keep my ears peeled for any stories of strange men/women out in Shepp on Saturday night and report back - Im sure I will hear something being that we're in the country! I had a great day, was happy to help and be in the middle of all the action all day Will definately be at future events - The countdown has already began til the next DECA day and this time we will try and have the energy to stay in town and join you all for the night time festivities !
