Has Anyone Got An Rb26 With A Single Gt35 On It?
TTT replied to Shaun's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Standard RB30ET is 7.5:1 Standard RB26dett is 8.5:1 Standard RB25det is 9.0:1 a 300rwkw 30/25 with 8.3:1 compression would be better off boost than all of the above. -
Here you go mate.. Oh... I see your pain... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/br...32-t182856.html hey.. not my fault you paid too much for a nugget. but it's ok.. you can sleep well knowing that you got a car with a boat anchor for a motor Make sure you keep those revs over 4K mate.. you don't want to find your self in the Subaru Twin turbo style Valley Of Death

I can't be bothered doing that twice a day 5 times a week. Most I'd be wiling to do is remove the front wheel which is quick release anyway. but in a 180, I don't need to.
-
poor bloke. hope he had insurance.. he as old enough to be smart about it surely.
-
mmmm.. no? it looks like the stocker though..
-
You should visit NSW section on the odd occasion... crazy down there..

Yeh what can I say.. I'm a nice guy..

I've got a mitsubishi bov that works really well. It will fit right on to the stock position and use all the stock bolts, hoses etc. I'd be willing to let it got for about $150 if you are interested. can get more too. Makes an awesome sound. is plumback so you won't stall. and you won't get defected. anyone interested?

I'd be looking at the new year. Gotta get the wife a RAV 4 first, then after xmas and so forth, I'll sell mine and get a 180. The reason for the 180 is the need to carry a mountain bike. The Liberty has a towbar so it works. I don't want to put a tow bar on a skyline or silvia. with the rear seats down in a 180, the bike fits. Other cars I considered are GTiR and Legnum GTiR is still possible, but I just don't know if I can be comfortable with one. Legnum is a good idea but they are around 1500kg and most commonly auto. AND have a V6 in an east west layout. meaning plenum off to change rear plugs. not to mention the difficulty in selling them which will no doubt happen within 1 year going my by proven track record. I'll give you $7.5K Bro.. you needs a woman. I have a sister inlaw I'm willing to trade you for one of your money sucking pile of shits... PM me. stop crying like a baby you crybaby. get over your R32'ness. Exactly.. and it wasn't a run of the mill R32 with king springs, cat back and hks pod. Your's was realistic.. pfft.. you're preaching to the preacher here homeboy.. but that is not what this is about.. on that note though.. 2 R32's with RB30det's in QLD have recently been advertised on carsales for $12K (sold the same week) and $14K THAT is a good buy.

R32 GTR's gaining value? hahahahahahahahahahahahaha oohhh the funnies
-
there is a 93 GTS4 with usual mods "asking" $16K on this forum right now. see your car sale price is what i would expect to pay.. maybe a little more actually considering it had a fresh rebuild of engine and box (I assume with receipts) I was also eyeing off this car. Clean R32 Yes it looks like a GTR but it seems honest and clean. I'm sure he would let it go for $11K ish. But I can't bring myself to put a towbar to it.. which I would need.
-
It will be a street car. it won't see a circuit. therefore, 1J is a Brilliant idea. That particular car has a whole host of other mods. single turbo, ecu, GTR brakes and diff, coil overs and all the usualy suspects in making over 250rwkw at 1 bar. and looking at the car, it has no body kit, nothing over the top. 17 inch wheels and lower than standard, 4 pot brakes is all that you can see.
-
$10K-$12K for an SR powered one. if I can sell my car in time, I will buy the 1JZ powered one. Asking price is $14K But I am not after a fully rebuilt everything immacualte type car. Mine will be parked in the street etc so I'm looking at something more common. usual power and handling mods will see me happy. they pop up very frequently at that price range. I'm not a fanboy enough to fork out over $15k for some Type X bullshit just because it's a type X and comes with slightly less crappy seats and an engine that has a different colour on it.. oooo black top.. oooooo
-
not to mention that every single skyline for sale is "THE CLEANEST EXAMPLE I'VE SEEN" f**k I'm sick of reading that.
-
wether you get pulled over or not depends on WHERE you drive and HOW you drive. 3 years and 2 skylines and I have never been pulled over for anything. Justin911 - very true. makes no difference if it's common. it's what you want from a car. If I were to buy another skyline it would be an R33 for sure. I can see that it is the better buy and will give me more for my money. However, I have other needs from my car so the next car will be a 180sx. Now "they" are over priced LOL..
-
I guess someone will pay the inflated prices some people are asking if they have their heart set on a car. I just can't see the justification. If you are a P plater Mexican, then fine. but for everyone else, I don't see why. For the same dollars there are other buys which provide a better package. and you can't go with the usual come back of "R32's aren't as common as R33's. yes true, but R32's are also pretty common in terms of imports out there.. you are essentially just another 150rwkw, misfiring R32 owner. No use going further with this.. it's gong to turn in to a X v Y thread for sure. Hey.. Lets talk about BOV's.
-
Yeh.. haha LoLz!! At least there are a few mature responses. I wasn't looking for a R33 v R32 thread or dyno figure thread. The R32 GTST owners are Dreamers was also in JEST. If you clowns can't take a joke or make a useful reply, go back to google images for more pics to keep yourself entertained. It's only logical to compare what car you can buy at X price range. R32 GTST's are on dreamer prices "majority of the time" People seem to try and get all their money back or something.

Roy - your car is an awesome package no doubt. and as a club level circuit car, it is probably a front runner. anyone who wants a competetive track car would be silly to pass yours by as it would cost ALOT more than $25K to get a stock R32 (including purchase price) to the same level of development as yours. However, as you said, you and some of your friends.... these are the only people who would pay that sort of money for an RB20 R32 GTST. Yes that last comment is a huge generalisation but as I said before, your one is not like most out there. I'm sure someone could make the same power as your car for alot less than $25K. but the package (stop, go, turn, etc) is worth the money IF you are looking for that type of car. Very small crowd you have there though. MAJORITY of skyline owners look for power... they love their dyno figures. MAJORITY of skyline owners drive on the street. an RB20 that revs to 8200rpm with 260rwkw and boost from 4200rpm is not exactly a nice drive on the street. awesome on a circuit though... There is a buyer for every car. But your audience is much smaller than the next shmuck who has a silver 93 R32 GTST with cat back and pod with legit 96,000kms on it selling for $13K Considering E-WANG size is measured on Dyno figures and 1/4 mile times, and purchase price of R33 and R32 are pretty much the same if not cheaper for R33's, they are more popular. It really does come down to looks. and what you prefer. But I don't understand why this means higher R32 prices. Is it that there are less R32s? carsales has skylines as long as my E-WANG.. and they've been there for months. 32's and 33's. Same mods on an R32 and R33... R33 will be more power full and quicker in a straight line and that is what an E-WANG is measured by. carry on..
-
how is this a rubbish thread? of course you own an R32 so will say so.
-
I didn't realise that they were P plater friendly in VIC. Mexicans and their weird rules. is that the power/weight ratio thing you do down there?
-
Without getting your Panties in a knot, lets discuss this. why are R32 GTST owners who are selling their cars.. sorry.. trying to sell their cars, advertising them for ridiculous prices of around $15K give or take a thousand. Apart from the body, The R33 has it over the R32 in so many ways. is anyone actually selling their R32's for around $15K? That is R33 series 2 money. Don't get me wrong, I've had 2 skylines and both have been R32's.. but it almost seems that the price of R32's (at least on this forum) have gone up (or at least you are trying to do that) The truth is, RB20 is pissier than an RB25 the R32 gearbox is pissier than R33 gearbox. apart from the "looks" and 70kg weight difference, the R32 has nothing over the R33) And I don't see a massive demand for the R32 either. it's not like they are rare or people are hanging for them. so it can only mean that R32 owners are dreamers. (Hi ROY!!! )

trying spraying your face with it. might stop breaking camera lenses

advanced apology here for the westies in your westie thread. The hiding or closing or deleting of the combined thread is a little power trip like isn't it? If anyone in that thread was in any way offended by the jokes/remarks/beautiful rhyms should man the f**k up. It was not f*king gang war fare. No-one really cares where the others come from. generalisations were made in an attempt at humor/to make fun etc. not all westies have missing teef and not all northies shave their arses... personally I like mine hairy. It's not like the thread was an informative, technical thread that went to shit. it was about who lives around my area etc. then a light hearted joke from some homie from the Logan area who likes to put engine in cars that didn't have them to start with, had a giggle, made one back and so forth. Why lock/hide/clean it? so what if there is a whore section. We wanted to whore about each others suburbs. No-one got hurt (yet...) <---- see.. smile. joke remark. Perhaps it's time to wear something new for the day.. something that isn't your wizards hat and robe, before you check this forum. Now as for the westie bogans.. where is this pancake place and do they make man size pancake stacks?

I agree that having the stock bov on a car that came with it makes the car behave as intended. but this theory above. explain 300,000km+ stock engine stock turbo's VL turbo's. Cordia GSR's Nissan EXA or Pulsar ET turbos? R31 GTST's Cefiros DR30 skylines with FJ20T's they don't have broken turbo's etc. millions.. that is the number of threads on all this. it gets no-where. Best thing to do is agree that I'm right about everything I say and go back to making fun of BTAK hunduhs
