  1. air box.. I don't know. One guy was willing to buy it off me for $100 so, somewhere near that. as for the driving lamps, they are the standard R32 GTST driving lamps.. there is a pic in the link below in my signature..
  2. dude, that will still be too small and too restrictive. You'd be better off with buying a GTiR intercooler or a truck intercooler for that matter. it will end up costing about the same.

    WTD: Injectors

Please PM me your details (name and number). I will pass them on to my friend to contact you. you guys can organise the COD if it is exactly what he needs. thanks.
  4. how much for the Turbo? how many kms on the car that it came off? any shaft play? any pics? thanks.
  5. definitly not!!! it is like 3 times the size of a GTST cooler. you would have to mount it out front. Probably require some bumper bar mods too.
  6. Hi all. I am after some injectors for a friend. 4 x VL turbo injectors or 4 x 13B turbo injectors (550cc) Sydney only please..
  7. Spiking occurs when you change gears.. not towards redline. eg.. you have set your bleed valve to 10 psi. you take off in first and red line it. you shift in to second and slam on the gas. the boost flies up and for a slight moment, it over boosts to about 12psi and then drops back down to 10 and holds it there.. the point when it hits 12psi for a fraction is what you call BOOST SPIKE. this is due to the way that bleed valves control the wastegate. Electronic boost controllers provide a more smooth wastegate operation and therefore you don't get SPIKES. has nothing to do with overboosting at red line....
  8. SXC-32. it will hold the boost fine. If I were you, I would go to a performance place and buy the adapter kit so that you can mount it to the standard bov spot. It costs about $50 at the most and it is simply and "L" shape metal fitting. You bolt that on to the place of the standard bov, then you get a small rubber hose and attach your new turbosmart bov to it. Plug in your vacuum hose and start the car. Adjust the bov so that it is just shut on idle. and you're off.!!!
  9. DANNY32.. Yes. If you remove it and block off the holes and vacuum line and so on, you will get the pchu chu chu sound you are after. if you still have the standard air box, it won't be loud. if you have a pod filter, then you will hear the sound you are after.. I'm not going to bother with my opinions on the whole bov or no bov theory..
  10. MM2death has given you the pic. If your one isn't making any noise, then it is probably because you have the standard air box. When you have a pod filter, it is very free flowing and you can hear all sorts of induction noises. also, when the bov vents, you will hear a sshhhhh sort of sound.. different to the aftermarket psshhtt sound. the standard bov makes more like a hissing sound. IF your bov is removed and all holes are blocked off, and you put a pod filter on, when you back off from the accelerator, you will hear a fluttering sound.. like ch ch ch ch ch ch Hope this helps. And there are a fair few turbo cars (engines) that don't have bovs as standard.. here are a few. Cordia turbo. CA18DET engined cars. VL Turbo That's a few off the top of my head.
  11. if this hiccup is around 5000rpm, then it is most likely the same spark problem that all the R33 owners get after boosting their cars. Have a search in here for "misfire" or "5000rpm" and you'll see other peoples replies. I think they were saying to gat the plugs to 0.7 (I think) good luck.
  12. Sounds ok. Where are you located? I would like to see it if possible.
  13. did you guys notice the people in the backround of that photo? Look at the lady in the Black dress..second from the right.. She's covering her mouth like she's just seen something shocking.. That makes the MERLI addition to the car so much more funny.. LOL...
  14. yeh that's cool. He just pm'ed me his number.. Thanks.
  15. if you're in sydney I'll take the turbo XS boost controller.
  16. equinoz.. I have a standard R33 gtst air box if you want it. Still has a clean standard filter too. make me an offer. I'm in sydney.. Qik78u... what about the R33 GTST or R34 TT turbo? any news on those?
  17. I am after the turbo. where in sydney are you? can I see it? how much are you after?
  18. well depends.. if like my one, they stripped a chunk of paint with it, then get the badges again...
  19. MFX-R33... I am very interested to see this.. If you are serious about showing me, I'd like to take you up on that offer.. As far as I know it's not possible, but I am willing to think outside the square and be shown something that I think is not possible.. I am not being sarcastic, I am genuinely interested in seing this..
  20. pm me your details and I'll try to call you this weekend. does it have a tyre or not?
  21. Giddy up.. when can we meet?
  22. that's right. I need a single wheel. R33 GTST or S14 200SX wheel. Tyre or no tyre.. doesn't matter. as long as it has minimal scratches (or none but not likely..) Must be in Sydney...
  23. bump
  24. ok.. I'll just leave it and say it's "my problem"
  25. Poyz... Yes.. maybe you are deaf. The sound does not come OUT of the bov. it comes out of the air filter... listen closely next time.. The BOV piston might bounce up and down but it doesn't open and close does it.. It doesn't matter if it is atmo or recirc... it just means that it is not opening and therefore the air is going back through the turbo and getting chopped up going CH CH CH CH CH as it goes through the turbo blades which are spinning at like 80,000rpm and the sound can be heard from the turbo/air filter area. Some people are unbelievable man..!!!!
