Hey, Had two queries. 1). WOuld anyone recommend a cat to go with the JJR Split dump pipe & 3 inch cat back exhaust, I am considering? I know JJ are selling the xforce ones with the split dumps, but are there any comparable ones for around the same kind of cash. Are those xforce ones alright? Max power I would ever get for my rb20det is 250kw. No where near that now but future proofing. 2). I'm looking to get my car checked out from top to bottom before it goes to the track, as well as any maintenance things I need done in the future. DOes anyone recommend a decent mechanic near the syd lower north shore area? Someone who preferably knows the r32gtsts like the back of his hand? Draen

Hey Guys, I was going to come to the North side dinner the other day to meet some of you guys (living in the northside myself), but shit hit the fan at work. Maybe the next one. On a different note just wondering if there are any bladers around, who may be interested in a weekly/fortnightly meet for a bit of exercise (Sunday arvos possibly). I went to a path at Haberfield last week (Near the dog park there) and it was an awesome place to blade with nice smooth paths next to the water in the kanals there. ALso there was plenty of parking. Being still new in town, if people have other spots in mind we can change destinations from time to time. I wouldn't recommend the Luna park side of Milson's Point as it was a pretty shit run, with board walk and more board walk, but Manly/Bondi should be good. Anyway if you keen send me a pm with your email and we can do something this Sunday arvo (30th) say at 3pm. Draen

Excellent thread guys. This question has been on my mind for a while too. I have got a r32gtst and looking to go to track days for a bit of fun. I am looking to do suspension/brakes/cooling before getting more power. What suspension brake upgrades have you done on yours Roy?

Has anyone gone to the effort to make the car feel more solid to drive? At the moment, on sydney's rough roads, my car sometimes sound like a tin can. Some of the panels just rattle and sometimes sounds like itll fall apart (Exaggerating slightly). Obviously these r32s are getting old, but just wondering if it's possible to make it feel more 'solid' to drive. What have you done about this? I wonder if sound deadening could help... Be interesting to hear you guys have tried.

Guys, I put the car (r32gtst) on the hoist the other day, and i could spin the rear wheels in opposite directions, with a bit of force. So the vlsd is gone. How dangerous is this? At the moment I am reluctant to push it too hard around corners... I can get an aftermarket diff, but im thinking i might just upgrade the car a bit later, and use what ive got for the time being. What are your thoughts?

I tell you your roads down here are ... !? Feel every bit of it too. Hopefully some of u can give me some pointers on where i can find some nice roads (Equivalent to Sunshine Coast Hinterland, for those who have been to qld).

Hi all, I am moving down from Brisbane to Sydney in about 1 month's time, and will be taking my 32gtst down with me, to help transport all my gear. I believe my line is in good nick and driving it 1000ks shouldnt be a prob going the speed limit, carrying extra baggage, with regular stops. I have changed the oil and filter and will be doing the coolant and brakes (new fluid), replacing fuel filter. My suspension is fine according to the pedders check. Any other major things I should consider/check up on? Just curious for those who have driven it for a long time, whether they had any issues, or have any tips on what to do before or during the trip. (Regular stops for myself and the car is a given). I will be bringing a pillow to put behind my lower back - gotta love the gtst seats! On a different note, once I settle down, down there, I'm keen to meet some enthusiasts down there, and test out the sydney roads/mountains.

Hey Beer Baron. Just curious did you get hit with any surprises from the mechanic inspection? Is yours imported with 15 year rule (i.e mod platted)? I hear they are quite strict down there in Syd. Also what modifications have u got on urs? How much did you end up paying for Blue slip, and green slip? Just trying to get a rough idea as I'll be coming down in 2 months, and wondering what kind of costs I may be hit with bringing 'her' down to comply and register. p.s You don't have a soft copy of the mech report by any chance do u - so i can look through the tests they do.

where is this lookout in Mt Gravatt guys? Anywhere near Garden City Shops?

Guys I may need to pull out of this one, unless i fix my ldling/revs. 3 days ago my idle decided to play up. Havent got to the bottom of the issue yet - I.e It idles at 1.8k revs now and feels less responsive when i use the throttle. I haven't changed anything recently. I have cleaned afm, and aac valve but still no good. Any ideas on what you guys would try/check next?
