Hey guys,
Unfortunately the time has come to sell my 1992 LS400. sadface.
I had plenty of dreams and aspirations to mod it VIP Style, but due to discovering a leak from the head gasket - which was discovered a couple of days after I purchased the car - and the CV joints (i think) needing replacement soon, PLUS! a bodged-up ankle surgery, I havent got the funds on hand to repair it. I still drive this as a daily to and from work which is around 10km each way.. and the occasional trip to sydney and back.. and always keeping an eye on the oil/water.
I'm not 100% sure on the extent and exactly the details of the head gasket issue, but having 2 shops look at it, they gave me around $2k - $3k ballpark figure to have it fixed.
The best/cheaper option would be to drop a new 1UZ in there.. or whatevs.
Other than that MAJOR issue, the interior is MINT!
I would love to see it repaired and get it where it should be. Otherwise, I will probably just drive it to the ground.
