Ok, just got in contact with Calder Park, and everything is finalised! Its getting exciting, only a few more days to go. They are getting back to me on diso****ed rates if you want to enter the Burnout comp as well, i'll keep you updated. Weather looks like it will be pretty hot, which im not happy about, but at least it wont be raining! Still havent gotten hold of a BBQ so that might be cancelled, unless anyone can help out?! I also think maybe we should do some sort of photoshoot during the day as well, that would be good.. there seems to be a great mix of cars entered. Anyone else got any ideas?

I think it may be the server running routine maintence on itself, and then performing a backup. Just a Guess.

Normal headlights, they came with the car...? might be the high exposure I had on the camera that gave that effect, although they do have a blue tinge. sorry I cant help more.

We had people getting 20-30rwkw gains on the dyno with just an safc tune. Great investment.

Franks, Same Day, Same Dyno, a little bit of boost. from .6 - .7bar It wasnt just my car either Grim on these forums, had a good 20-25rwkw gain on the same dyno, same day, same tuner. Great results can be had from an safc when tuned right! I guess it depends on your budget, and how far you want to go in the future.

From what ive heard mondo are one of the dodgiest dealers around, but thats just from word of mouth. Buy one privately if you dont want to import. Or get one from a dealer that has a good rep. - ex I'll be selling mine soon if your keen for a series 2.

Thats a good one, I rekon SAFC myself, and just put water injection on the stock cooler. but then with a fmic, you can run more boost.. its a win win situation. I got a 30rwkw gain from tuning the safc

My condolences as well, it really is a tradgey when something like this happens to good people. Agreed with ice180 on this, hi-powered cars can be quite dangerous on the roads.

Overview As you all know In association with Calder park's Off Street Drag Events, Skylines Australia Victorian Division has put together a club day! Its finally comming together, and we have a nice number of entrants and spectators, which is excellent for our first official event! We have arranged a club discount for members, but since we haven't taken any memberships yet, Ive organised a thing called a 'Club Card' which you will receive on the day, showing this card at the gate will entitle you to the discounted entry. We will also be having a bbq(just sausage sizzle most likely!) You can bring your own meat if you want. We havent organised a BBQ yet, so if anyone has a decent portable BBQ theyd like to bring along for us to use, let me know. There will be a trophy presentation at the end of the day for both the fastest, and slowest car of the day! Club card Details On the day, we request you meet us at the car park before the entrance of calder to collect your club card at 9am Sharp! we will only be there for 1hr giving these cards out, so if you are late, you miss out. Id go the bridgestones, try pricing some Grid III's, or S03's if you can, try and get some S02's, they are an excellent tyre. WELL worth the money Have a look for Dunlops as well, they make a great tyre. If you plan on ripping them up, and not using them for what they were deisgned for, get some 2nd hand crappers to take your anger out on.
