  1. Last course was $385 (in the link)... still expecting it to be around that price range?
  2. music is something people (me) are very pasionate about, so why wouldn't i defend my choice?? i could have said lots of nasty and things about what music i've seen you post if i wanted to be petty and arrogant, but i didn't and didn't as you say "flame your music", i didn't even call your music shit, i just said i liked that music more. i dont need to know what you like to say "that if you think that is shit, i like whatever you do more"... least thats how i look at it i just felt that your original comment was uncalled for and inflamatory "if you cant say nothing nice, dont say anything at all??". I tryed my best to defend my position without enflaming the situation, clearly that didn't work and yes, one of the best drummers i've ever heard! =) edit: sorry, pm wasnt working for me for some reason =\
  3. meh, your entitled to your opinion, but to me there probably a million times better than anything you listen too =\ was just sharing incase there was anyone else from SAU there, i know there are a few metal heads on here! lml
  4. saw them last week... were epic, thought i'd share =)
  5. wow, so anoyed at everyone pointing at F1 and saying "its not fun because there is no overtaking" i think alonso hit the nail on the head about the re-fueling rule and its impact... heres an example Last years race weekend: P1-P3, no real change hard to tell who is running what fuel loads and who is realy the quickest (most of the time, occasionally u'd see red bull for example top the time sheets and you just know that they always run heavy that day and hence they had a QUICK car) Q in general - no change, get to see if anyone makes a mistake and knocked out early or someone puts in a killer of a lap and makes it in but.. Q1 - now there is no stratergy, i've lost the ability to speculate peoples fuel loads, there no one like toyota putting in 5 laps of fuel just to take pole after Q1 was over i'd look at the grid and go threw and put a +2 to any kers cars and see what that did to the running then 3 hours or whatever it was the fuel loads were publish, and then there was who was actually faster and how that will play out then all the press would bring out their predictions for pit stops and again i'd analyse stratergies and the choice of hard/soft tyres would threw in yet another thing to consider its here in qualifying that its REALLY hurting our races!! you take away ALL the options for teams, no optinos means no stratergy! no stratergy = boaring racing!!!! i loved qualifying about 2 years ago, not only did you have the stratergy, but you had cars doing lots of laps thanks to fuel credit!!!!!! what more could you want?? then the race... drivers were pushing hard the whole race last year! thats what we wanted to see, not tyre managment... you'd see how fuel loads and stratergies played out, drivers havint to push their cars to get overtaking windows with pit stops or even try and overtake. i agree there still wasent alot of overtaing, but thats not what the sport is about to me... i watch NASCAR for overtaing and crashes! (isnt that what americans are good for??), but still i found F1 entertaining becuase of this stratergy... with all these options taken away from teams the only thing left to them as a stratergy is "managing" cars and not driving them hard! that is the biggest dissapointment to me! what if sebastian vetel had to cover off 2 different ferarri stratergies last race because of 2 pit stops and fuel?? much more exciting in my opinion, and probably would have given you ferarri guys some hope... mad a differance to the result? probably not... but maybe there was a problem in a pit stop or massas stratergey went pear shapped and brought him back close to hamilton?? This years race weekend: fastest cars line up from front to back in order of speed, reliability kills a few off, then we have a winner.. whoopie, where is the stratergy or fun in that?? i guess you can boil it down to "driving not managment" and "options not processions" to me thats the heart of the problem, not sure if anyone else sees it that way
  6. pritty much down to $$$, if i can work out a way to keep it i will, but atm it looks like i'll have to sell =\ doesnt help that the rebuild stole ALOT of my passion and $$ problem will be figuring out what car to buy next...
  7. going to start taking EOI on my car for those that know it, not interested in joy riders or anything like that atm... but if you know anyone that might be serious about buying it im thinking somewhere between 32-35k atm, but will need to do some more research on what out there it can be compared to and what they are going for but if you hear anyone asking, point them my way sad day for me =(
  8. lap times at the end of the race were still 6-7 seconds off qualifying pace!! and i think qualy was worse as well... because if you want to refule you have to pull into the garage and do it, so lots of teams were only doing 1 lap flyers! tho i think if overtaking was easier, we'd see people making multiple pit stops and faster lap times =\ its a viscious cycle!
  9. will be interested to see if vetel messes up qualy if he can actually overtake to make up spots.... as for the ferarri drivers, they have a better car than everyone bar red bull by about .5s/lap corse they were going to do well!!! just a shame it looked like a slow precession rather than a race =\ while were sticking the boot into webber, apparently RBR actually uses vetels car setup for both drivers coz its the faster one of the 2.... go figure! i'd still support an aussie and my interest in a race generally relates to how well he does, but im not blind XD
  10. last time they were able to... so i dont see why they can't this time =)
  11. wow, what a fail of a race... omg, could the no re-fueling rule have made it any more boring??? about 70% of the commentary was about "protecting tyres".... and probably because 95% of the race was about "protecting tyres" with the other 5% being cars just failing oh, and webber failing... a 1s a lap faster car yet he still cant overtake, sad, sad times! least it looks like ferrari vs red bull for most of the year =) cept RBRs reliability will cost them just enough to not win anything
  12. sorry about the lack of replies, i've moved house and only just got the internets back So yes JMW, i got the call over the weekend that your hoodie is ready!!! so with any luck i'll have it for you at vilis this friday unless you want it any earlier As far as any more orders go (re your PM bunny), i made a deal with the suppliers that since we only ordered about 20 and they gave me pricing for 50+ that i was going to do another batch... I expect this will happen around april/may, tho if bunny wants to help organise/run it she is more than welcome to!
  13. anyone else see the new adelaide zoo adds??? "who care about the F1 grand prix, we have pandas"!!!!! WTF, i care about the F1 a hell of a lot more than stupid pandas!!! oh, and can we please get some dry test day... please =P
  14. any, i normally get there around 7:30, but have nothing on today
  15. If your going to be there i'll make an apperance JMW - no word on the replacment yet... will let you know as soon as i do
  16. A fine and partly cloudy day. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds min 20 max 30
  17. k, just for you guys, next time i know something that might effect you i wont mention it (re: dyno day), and if someone does ask me for something they'll get just the answer.
  18. wtf is your problem? english too dificult for you to understand?? i told him that jim doesnt use e-mail? how is that unnecessary?? and the mystery in the dyno day thread was a broken dyno!!! i don't exactally want to say "bosstworx dyno is broken, so dont go there" think the only person here that needs to grow up is you!
  19. a while ago they invented these things called pens and paper... some people find them useful, apparently jim is one of these people =P just my hot tip, dont go for a soild centre cluth!!!
  20. Abe - Jim Berry: Race Cluth, leave yourself a good hour and give him a call =) worth if for the info alone
  21. totally agree, but the really crazy thing with even trying to relate teams times this year is fuel loads, the differance between a light load and a full load will be stupidly lagre!
  22. yeah, i know most cars have been launched... but today is RB6 launch day, not most cars have already been launched day! =\ and just from an engineering standpoint alone most people should be interested in what newey has come up with for this season, then again, i guess most people aren't interested in fluid dynamics XD the whole idea about getting more laps under your belt is a good idea in theory, but this year there is not only a limit on number of test days but there is actually a limit on number of tyres you can use in testing as well (and hence a corresponding amount of kms you can put on a car)... may as well plan to maximise your time both in the wind tunnel and on the track??? =) but mebe its simply the fact that RBR didn't have the opportunity to start development of the 2010 car as early as some other teams last season...
