not quite sure i agree with JMW or Sled there... even if no one from SAU attended the event, we would still be painted with the same brush! we'd still get our share of the attention just because of the cars we chose to drive. i dont see there is anything wrong with car enthusiast getting together and raising money for charity?? so people get together and go for a drive and help those in need, how is that different from people cooking pancakes or holding tea parties or growing a mustache or the bikies charity cruise?? its when people decide to make up their own rules that things go pear shapped for the community I've been on plenty of cruises and it seems the problem is some people take it as "we're on a cruise so we can do anything" mixed in with some fragile egos and its a recipie for what happened today, i dont think we can ever say that our problem will be fixed by stoping these get togethers but i think stronger self policing is a step in the right direction.

while i was picking up my car i asked this qeustion today as my intention was to drop by and help.... unfortunataly i didn't sleep last night and afterwashing my car i had a quick cat nap that i only just woke up from =\ i know there a BARSTARD to get off (right matty/blue 32) =P but apparently you can assemblem the forks and everything and then set up the thrust bearing and just "click" them into place! soooo much easier than removing them!

what madaz said, also can just be a build up of carbon in the exhaust pipe that only gets blown out under lots of pressure... but yeah, needs to be seen

Most people that deal with RBs will tell you to elarge and baffel the sump... wasent on your list, but i've found it to be the most recomended mod, so probably something you might want to look into

this might explaine it.... (its releated to e85 blends) been told by tuners all e85 tunes up the same and i think the whole different moisture levels is a bit bs... there is a reason why they need special pumps/tanks for e85 and it can't be any worse than storing it in a drum??

Engine/Car: R32 GTR V-Spec II Type of failure: Bearing lifted on number 6 Factors influencing the failure: One of the ball bearings that help control oil where the oil filter screws onto the block got free, probably lead to starvation or might have caused the problem as it made its way threw the engine.. we eventually found it in the oil cooler! State of tune of the engine: Stock Suspension and tyres: irrelivant Oil used and service interval: Motul 300v Chrono, every 5000km General comments: none really, just hope this doesnt happen to anyone else!

found a nother problem with the car... crazy jap people hooked up the oil relocation kit and oil cooler wrong... had everything flowing backwards!!! rararara!!! XD

apparently there are 3 sprung ball bearings in it to control oil preasure threw the filter etc, i initially thought they were hollow centered and just turned slightly and one had closed off starving the engine of oil, but it appears that they are solid and one escaped from the mechanism and made its way threw the engine =(
