yeah am staying clear of vagina garage. I have a dayz bar that will get painted aswell but am leaning towards the abflug one.

have been told by crash repairer that finding a Takero front bar is going to be hard. Has anyone come across someone who has a mould or is selling one? If can't find one, can basically pick any front bar i like but unsure which to pick. I made the same mistake of not having insurance on my first stagea. Was waiting till I turned 25 before I got full comp, then a bogan wiped me off the road writing it off, 1 month before my 25th bday. made sure I had full comp after that. And I'm still chasing the guy who hit for money nearly 2 yrs on.

Front bar was a genuine Takero one. I'm fine, airbags didn't go off. I think the chassis rails should be ok, was a low speed impact. Prob should have had more of a distance between the car in front but the traffic was bumper to bumper, I don't think I was the only one wanting to get home to down a cold one. Car is being assessed tomorrow. Thanks for your sympathy guys.

Driving home from work last night, 2 cars in front slam on the brakes leaving me with no where to go. Not as bad damage from my S1 stag, more than likely will be repaired but couldn't really look down to checkmy chassis rails.

was gonna try make this one but smashed the front on the way home from work.

No doubt there are a lot of people on here who have had to replace their tie rod ends, need to know if you guys went genuine or there is a aftermarket equivalent. Thanks. Also if you can remember how much and where would also help a great deal.

Not sure if anyone has suggested it but have you done a compression test? In my experiences working on holdens, if a belt isn't lined up, breaks or comes off, its most likely all the valves will be bent to some extent. Its unfortunate that its happened but I guarantee you aren't the first and won't be the last preson that goes through this.

Just bought it, condition isn't that bad, few scratches, side bracket come off and a small ding, nothing unrepairable as its needs painting. Very rarely do they come up for sale and it saves me damaging my Takero bar that sits 2 inches off the ground.

IMO, killswitch in the rear for the fuelpump is the best way to stop them getting away......very far.

For sale 4/87 TN Magna 2.6L automatic 147xxxkms, not sure if correct but its what odometer shows. Have owned for 6 months now which the misses has been using as she was sick of her R32 getting damaged at her work. Has just had 3 months rego put on. Body work is average, but has been reliable run around car. Interior is missing center console but has still got a radio. Has alloys but spare is on due to puncture. Does anybody know if the R34 neo air con compressor's are the same as Rb25det in the R33's? Cheers.

P.S JAV360 you have an AMC Javelin? That is so cool!! Isn't Jim Richards going to campaign one in the Biante series this year? Yeah mate, 1970 Javelin in Big bad orange. Jim Richards and team are building up a 71 Jav with apparently a 600hp NASCAR engine, am hoping this will make the car more popular as not many people no about the Javelins.
