Spent a couple of hours this morning with the qr management and we have agreed to running this event. When....Sunday Oct 23rd Where....Qld Raceway Time....7 a.m. The day will begin with happy laps session on the track at qr followed by a breakfast all inclusive in the price. This event is open to members and non members alike with pricing TBA but usually around the 30 dollar mark for a breakfast h/l session. After Breakfast qr will host a motorkhana for the club. This event will initially be open to members only as there is a limit of 20 cars. Should we not be able to fill the book we will take non members on a first come first served basis. Price for this event will be around the 60 dollar mark making it a bargain for those keen to try their hand at m/k I will confirm this event on Friday but I see no reason why it cant happen unless the raceway tells me otherwise. Remember, there is a 20 car limit to the motorkana and members will be given first priority. Lets get it rolling. Fineline. Saturday 17th of september. Breakfast meet folks so get your names down. This one is a relatively short notice deal but that wont stop us having fun. Cost is 25 dollars per member and 30 dollars per non member. 20/30 minutes track time plus a bacon and egg breakfast included in the price....Get on it! 1.....Fineline

set for Sunday 17th November. Lots of details to be ironed out yet but we'll get it rolling. Meeting place...Aspley Hypermarket Time..... departure at 9.30 This will be followed by a leisurely cruise with our final destination being Lakeside raceway. At the raceway we will sell the usual raffle tickets etc. Full canteen facilitys are available at the track. The grande finale will be Parade laps around the track with a photographer on hand to snap every vehicle and provide you with a pic of your car on the famous circuit. Cost of the parade will be 10 dollars per car with proceeds going to charity. Mark it on your calenders.

Campble (sp) made 900 rwhp with a jun 2.7 stroker kit in a 25 block. fwiw theres bugger all difference between a 25 and a 26 block as far as strength goes. They are the same casting with just some different bolt sizes and patterns plus the 26 block has an extra oil return port for the 2nd turbo.

As stated this is not a race. Its a social gathering with some fun track time. if its light rain or a damp track its on. If its bucketing down we can sit around and tell lies over dinner.

going through a similar thing atm. Best solution I found was to get rid of the whole alsd rear end completely. We sourced a complete rear cradle from a non alsd model and are currently fitting it.

I look forward to the meeting as much as the track time.
