  1. i'm pretty sure DMD are still around, they may have just moved premises though?
  2. looks great! i'm really liking the black '32 rims... been thinking about doing mine for ages, but i think want to get mine done in a matt black, or semi-gloss, not really glossy....
  3. dude, i have seen your car around on various forums etc before... i love it! the new paint is looking nice too! excellent work!
  4. yeah, pics would be great... been looking for something like this that i can make a track car out of
  5. came across to me as arrogant and rude - he has lost my business for good
  6. nope, didn't have any work performed by him. i spoke with them about 2 options - rebuilding my current RB20DET, but with good internals, bigger turbo etc - he refused to do it, said it was a waste of his time. so i asked him about performing an RB25DET conversion (with a fairly standard rebuild of the replacement RB25DET... just get everything balanced, forged pistons etc) - again, he didn't want to know about it, said that if it wasn't an RB26 he didn't want to know, as it's a waste of time
  7. i take it you're not relying on your stock boost gauge for these readings? if you are, i suggest you get yourself a proper boost gauge and THEN tell us what it is reading.
  8. Hey man, all specs/pics etc are here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=98483
  9. Paul, Did you get my PM about adding me to the mailing list for the trackdays?
  10. consider swap for Series IV Manual RX7 Turbo?
  11. i have other footage available from the 8th April skidpan if u want to use that as well?
  12. i ran a 69 second on my first ever time out (i haven't been out for a second time since... been upgrading the car ) that was with stock everything (except suspension) and on shitty street tyres. with my mods now i'm looking at roughly the 63 - 64 second mark i think (hope) edit: clubman circuit
  13. hehe, BBQ on the back of a ute... such a QLD thing to do i love it
  14. no problemo
  15. i agree... cruises south are lame
  16. i'm happy to help out Andy. I got my wheel stud from Nissan, as they are the same as R32 GTR ones. was cheap as chips... think it was like $7 or something don't know if they'd have R33 ones though, or if they're the same etc (though one would assume they would be?)
  17. alternatively you could do what i did, and drive around with only 4 wheel nuts on for nearly a year?
  18. 1. Take wheel off 2. Take caliper off disc 3. take disc off 4. get big hammer 5. belt old stud out 6. slide new stud in from behind 7. use old stripped stud as a punch to push new stud in (or alternatively get a rattle gun and do up a wheel nut onto the new stud to pull it through) 8. put disc back on 9. put caliper back on disc 10. put wheel back on 11. ???? 12. Profit
  19. so when is the next one?
  20. I regularly get 400+km from <45L city driving... usually around 10.5L/100km highway driving, i use roughly 9.7L/100km nearly 180rwkw
  21. i nearly took a sickie to come out and watch this today, but decided against it
  22. i still stand by the fact that the guy in the ferrari was only using approx 1/2 throttle... the thing sounded like it was nearly idling along pit straight, plus everything was catching it... he either didn't know how to drive, or he was babying it... oh, and i nearly backhanded him when i saw him cleaning it with Ajax spray and wipe!
  23. i'll sell you mine for 20k?
  24. R33_racer, i was at the Top Gear day... saw ur car there... you looked like you were doing well That ferrari was soft... hell, you were giving him a hardtime came over and said hi, but i think u were busy and didn't really pay much attention, so i just moved on, lol btw, i got some pics of you in action.... p.s. i take it you are aware your swaybar basically scrapes the ground whilst cornering? what's with that?
  25. i got mine for uber cheap (just an open faced one) from scootopia. its australian standards approved.
