Ah ok fair enough. Cheers for that. Maybe they won't be here that quick Also regarding the diff and gearbox plugs. I spoke to Richard and he can make them to fit 3/4" BSPT (The size Elite Racing said he thought they were) however I still kind of need some confirmation. Really don't want to be ordering 50 plugs and then getting something that doesn't fit lol.

R33 Gtst Something Went Wrong Please Help
PM-R33 replied to R33 Turbo 25's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
His is a GTST, not a GTR, therefore it has one butterly, not 6. Anyway there really could be a number of possibilities and without knowing the full story every one is simply going to be guessing. Most likely sounds like a small boost leak though. -
Next batch guys Only did a first batch of 10 because I didn't realise it would be so popular!

S15 Steering Wheel Fitment Into R34 Gtt
PM-R33 replied to TM7GTR's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
That 350Z Steering wheel is actually the Z tune steering wheel It is made by Nismo for the Z tune and also available as an option for the 350Z. The main difference is on the Z tune it is red leather and alcantara in stead of the champagne leather. This was the steering wheel I was trying to get from the US and the possibility of a group buy. However Nismo no longer make it It definetely fits on, the only thing i couldn't 100% get was confirmation that the airbags would work. However from the research I did into airbags I beleive it would There is also the MOMO option for the 350Z. -
It will mainly be the preload on the gate. Tighten it up as much as you can and give it back to him (when mine is fully tightened it holds around 19-20psi). He can than simply use the boost controller to slightly adjust the boost if needed.

S15 Steering Wheel Fitment Into R34 Gtt
PM-R33 replied to TM7GTR's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Yeah no worries, probably won't be for about 4 weeks though until I do the next batch. Yeah i'm in the process of "modernising" my interior aswell hence the pedals were a nice touch Been kind of thinking about the possibility of a "Flip/switchblade key" from the US to add to the theme.. -
I'll chuck you down for the next batch as the first batch was only an inital buy of 10 to test the waters. Just awaiting three more payments from the first group, I will send a quick reminder to those three later on and hopefully I can place the order on Monday

S15 Steering Wheel Fitment Into R34 Gtt

Haha yeah you read correctly. Nismo no longer make them though so you can't get them anymore It was from the same supplier in the US that I am doing the pedal group buy through, he has a Z tune steering wheel in his 350Z -
Bumping an old thread. Can the low pressure switch itself fail? I have had the gas checked and there is plenty in there, everything seems to be operating the way it should be but the clutch on the compressor wont engage. If I earth the low pressure switch it will engage the compressor and work properly so is it possible that the switch itself is f**ked and thinks there is low gas when there actually isn't?
-
What are they out of? They are drilled ones though, and I hate drilled ones (done it once before, pain in the ass lol) and also illegal because there is no rubber on the clutch and brake.

Well the plot thickens! It is something to do with the Vipec in my case afterall. I kept playing around with the electrics that control the aircon and got it to work. First of all I checked all the fuses and put different relays in, nothing changed as they are all in perfect working condition. So I got the multimeter out and the test light and started working my way back from the compressor. I discovered that on the low pressure switch to the right of the radiator, if I gave one of the pins an earth BIGNO compressor kicked in and cold air. If I disconnected the relay that controls the aircon and tried this again, nothing happened. Therefore the relay is working correctly and the compressor is working correctly, but for some reason the Vipec isn't switching on that relay. Would my assumption be correct? The strange thing is, when I turn my aircon on, I can hear a click under the bonnet, but I don't think it is coming from the same relay, sounds like it is coming from somewhere else. Does any one have a bloody aircon wiring diagram? Maybe I will just call Ray and ask if he has had any issues with aircons with the V44 on a RB25.

See the thing is, they make GTT brake lines and they are pretty much identical to the GTST ones. With the clutch line, well the fitting in the master cylinder is the same as that in a GTST/GTR so the only thing that could be different is the length of the line (the GTST one is pretty long to begin with) and the fitting on the gearbox. If any one has a photo of a GTT clutch line it would help a lot!

S15 Steering Wheel Fitment Into R34 Gtt
PM-R33 replied to TM7GTR's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I've actually been looking into different Nissan model airbag steering wheels and as far as I am aware, most Nissan steering wheels will fit each other from R33 Series II onwards (dual airbags). -
Yep that's cool. I'll try to send them today. Ok no worries. Does any one have a photo of a GTT clutch line? I mean the only reason this is taking so long is they are trying to get their hands on a stock GTT clutch line so they can make the braided ones. The GTST clutch line goes from the master to the slave with two screw in fittings, I really think it will be the same as the GTT, maybe it needs a different sized fitting or something. I can simply tell them what we need and they can make it, would definetely be a lot quicker.

UPDATE Money has cleared (No idea how on earth it cleared within 24 hours!) and they are getting sent today
-
Hey buddy, have a quick read through the entire thread and you will understand everything that is going on. To sum it up I didn't think they would be as popular and obviously the numbers involved is very high so we will do batch orders. The first batch of 35 has just been paid for and once it has arrived and every one is happy we will do the next batch. You can find most of the details on the first page. Cheers Phil

It will be quite a while man as the process is a long one. I'm sure PSI Parts will let us know once every stage has been completed (mould, prototype, testing etc)
