Ah ok. Yeah my exhaust kind of went up and out to an angle where as yours is more straight. Mine actually sat against the exhaust aswell but it doesn't damage the carbon at all. Yeah just give it a bit of a cut underneath the muffler and should be all sweet.

Yeah it's brand new and the dealership is sorting it out for me today. The freight company was absolutely hopeless.

Selling my gearbox, has done 110,000km. Ran Redline Shockproof gear oil in it since I've owned it (6 years). Feels perfect shifting, still nice and tight. I still have about 1L of Shockproof laying around so you can have that aswell. Clutch has done about 30,000-40,000km and hasn't slipped to this day. Comes with all the sensors and shifter aswell. Probably one of the best condition second hand gearboxes you will find. Chasing $1300 pickup in Townsville. Cheers Phil

I have brand new Nissan camshaft seals and front crank seal if you wanted them for cheap. Worthwhile changing while the engine is out.

It wouldn't be the hardest thing to calculate a rough figure of the time if some one knew how to do it for a turbocharged engine. Going off of very rough calculations I did with simple figures for a NA engine (2.5L engine at 1000RPM) I get around 4m/s out of a 3" exhaust - so around 1 second of travel. That's just using some basic engineering formulas I can remember. Would love to see some one elses complete working equations on it though, would be quite interesting. I'm just not 100% sure on how above atmospheric pressure (boost) effects the formulas with an exhaust housing slowing down the airflow?

Yeah thought I would need some suspension - damnit. Yeah everything has sold fairly quickly. Only left with about $5000 worth of stuff still. The wheels are the main thing I need to get rid of.
