  2. Hey guys im looking for front and rear seats from a R33 GTR, Im located in sydney,(north shore), but am happy to buy interstate. Contact me by Pm or post here Cheers
  3. Hey Guys, Just received an update from the Quiktrak administrators, they are hoping to have sold the business by the end of next week. If a sale does go ahead, all accounts in credit will be honoured. fingers crossed
  4. Sounds pretty good to me. you'd pay twice that at strathfield car radios
  5. hey mate, i dont own a gtr myself so i could be wrong but these are some things i would consider. I would run something other than a PFC as you will be passing their effective power range, go for something that requires full mapping (no AFM) i would also run an aftermarket FMIC and oil Cooler to be safe, i would think that coil packs are essential, and at that power you may need to upgrade your clutch.
  6. Hey Guys, i just recieved an email to say that Quiktrak is going under. So as of today my car has no tracking. What is everyone else using, is there a self monitoring system available??
  7. hey mate, i went from an HKS ecu to the Haltec E11V2, it was necessary for me to change over due to the power i was producing, ive had it for about 12 months now with no probs. I use the car as a daily driver but also give it a work out on the w/e. I havent had any dealings with microtech to compare against though.
  8. I havent touched my internals either, but i have still spent $25K on top of the original purchase price. Bolt ons are still expensive. my advice would be to buy the bike first. then save for the line, if you do it the other way around you'll never own a bike
  9. As the title says: im looking for an Oil cooler with or with out filter relocation kit, to suit R33 GTST S2,(rb25det). No Chinese ones thanks guys. Im located in Sydney but will consider interstate Items. PM me or Post Here. Regards, Damien
  10. if you have the will power to not mod it, then i salute you. But if you buy it, id like you to PM me in 12 months and tell me its still stock. I promise you it wont be. once that pod filter goes on, its game over.
  11. i was told by some one that it was for one of those window breaker things like they have on buses. wouldnt it be a bit dangerous to store a flare inside the cabin
  12. If you have the means to buy quality and a warranty, dont waist you time with crap. you'll just end up buying it all again in 6 months time
  13. Most definantly, i had no idea when i bought mine, but i learnt very quickly. all worth it though you have the standard costs, i.e. insurance, rego then the extra fuel a turbo uses. once you start the mods, there is the initial cost of that mod, then you will need 2 more mods to support/compliment it. In most cases it will induce some underlying problem to show up, so that will have to be fixed. and thats just one basic mod. do that a few times and you very quickly pass the $10k mark
  14. i think ill make this my first SAU cruise, so count me in. Quick question, if i was to buy a CB , what should i be looking for, Brands? Functions? etc.
  15. If its what you want to do - go for it. But be aware that you probably wont find servicing and repairing regular cars all day, every day as enjoyable. Also, after working on cars all week, will you still enjoy working on your own after hours. Just a thought.
