  1. whos got egg on his face. me. might get the .73 rear so i retaiun plenty of response and a good power figure of 400hp
  2. thats not too bad. i didnt realise the 3076 is also the 3037 wich is what i wanted in the first place. i should ask more questions before buying stuff.
  3. hey mate have you put this on yet? when does it hit full boost? also how does it fell to drive with?
  4. thank you for your reply. i should not a problem on selling the turbos, the hks one is just been rebuilt. what would you expect to pay for a fresh rebuilt turbo?
  5. whys that? what specs would you get? little more detail would treat me.
  6. ok the motor is an rb25det s1. my goals are 400hp and retain some form of response or realy not having a very lagy turbo. the two turbos i have are: Garrett GT3082r, .63 rear ext gate HKS TO4S, .7# rear or and option to use a larger .8# rear ext gate. now i know the Garrett is ball bearing with the smaller rear but i have read they suffer compressor surge??? and the HKS is old design and not ball bearing so i can expect it to not be as responsive as the Garrett. i drift ALOT so i want a turbo that is going to be usefull to me. What would you choose of the two. Thanks, Steve.
  7. mercurys is also dry sump. though i think it blew alot of turbos. this one dude just turboed a na rb30. makes plenty of torque and abut 3 to 400hp. the beauty of it is if you blow the motor go to the wreckers and get another for f**k all.
  8. didnt the r32 have brake problems when it came out aswell?
  9. ur lucky you asked these questions before buying. i was using a workshop who convinced me to buy 850cc power enterprise. way too big for the 400hp im chasing and now i want to offload them but will not get what i paid for. spewing. just go the 550cc. and when the time does come for the need for bigger ones get them then. chances are its not going to be within a year or two that you will need the bigger ones. well thats the case with me anyway.
  10. they wont leave you alone. we had one run accros the street and walk with us for about 100m trying to get us to go to some club.

  12. go to ropongi at night to get hussled by nigerians.
  13. anything realy. rock some aftermarket panel filters in the standard air box.
  14. yeah i know its not the very best option out there in terms of response but aslong as it gets going at a reasonable enough rpm i will be happy, aslong as it gets to the power level im roughly chasing. thanks for your reply dude.
  15. just throwing it out there but if you want bris sponsorship your competeing with alot of good drivers. brisbane has the most drift days out of any state. you got archerfield which has weekly prac and queensland raceway with fortnightly prac not to mention the many raceline events. u have alot of proving to do if you want sponsorship. get on secretdrift its a predominatly queensland based website but its all drift chat if you have not been on there yet.
  16. well i can also get a .8# rear housing aswell but i want to retain response as i do alot of short track stuff. Thanks for your reply aswell.
  17. wish you posted this on secretdrift. i and a f**k load more people would have entered.
