Hi guys, I've organised a Dyno Day for some friends of mine that will be held at C&V. Currently we have 20 cars and we are looking for another 5 cars. If we get 25 cars the cost of each car is only $40. This includes 2 passes with printouts (you can run two setups obviously like low boost or high). The dyno at C&V is a Dyno Dynamix so you can run 4WD, RWD or FWD. This is probably the cheapest dyno you'll ever do..... however, I am only looking for 5 cars so first in first serve. Cheers

As far as alarms short of tracking are concerned its difficult to go past the brant alarm... it has so many features but is priced pretty high. The AA02 model would be the go for most people and if you're more paranoid you can get the Nemesis. This is the best alarm short of quiktrak in my opinion.

I was under the impression the Bendix are a metallic compound where as the nissans would have been softer. Well anyway has anyone tried Racebrakes??

I'm thinking of getting a custom box made with the cone filters inside (this makes it legal apparently and stealthier) with a pipe running from the guard up feeding the cold air in. I would like to know what experience people have with a cold air induction system and if it makes a lot of difference in terms of responsiveness, actual power increase and anything else.

I believe the purpose of the hood panel is to seperate the hot air from the radiator and intercooler from the engine bay and air intake. It sits at the front of the engine bay similar to this except its titanium silver. Apart from that it looks good and makes the engine look neat. Heres a pic.

Hi, I have one ARC R33 GTR Titanium Hood Panel for sale. It will also fit a GTS-T with slight modification to it. It is brand new and I have owned it for two days. I bought it from smokey32 from SDU and just received it but I have decided to sell it to fund something else. I have pictures if you want and I am in Sydney for pickup or can ship. It is silver titanium colour with the ARC plate stamped on it. Similar to those on GRACER and other GTRs in Autosalon. Price is $250 SOLID. As I said it is BRAND NEW. The website for ARC is here. The Brant AA02 and Nemesis both work with turbo timers as I know a two people on this forum with this setup working fine. Turbo timers are illegal though and if your insurance company finds you have one i have heaard they may not payout if your car gets flogged. Dunno how they can do this though....

Brant do give group discounts. If you get the nemesis base model (no extras) its around $1100 retail. If you have two cars it comes down abuot $150 per car. Don't quote me on this cos this is what i was offered a month ago. The AA02 is already cheaper so a big discount may not be offered HOWEVER, if you buy the AA02 through Autospeed its cheaper than the retail at Brant. AND Brant technicians come to install it anyway. This is what a friend did. Yes all alarms can be bypassed by they are still deterrants.

Brant Website The top of the line is the Nemesis. It's a 6 point immobiliser with alarm and a few extras (some you must pay for). Most people i know with a Brant have had very little problem with it. I've spoken to brant they are very helpful. Anyway the more people who commit the bigger the discount. Brant already give all Silvia NSW members a discount. BUT one thing i found is that the 6points of immobilisation it hink only imobilise 3 components. The starter motor, electronics and fuel pump. There are just 2 relays per component. Although I'm not sure about this, this is something that I've been told by many automotive electricians.

I use some meguiars stuff.... can't remember what it is. I've also scammed some interior BMW and Merc cleaners from friends with these cars. These do a good job too. Armor All Sux!!

Dragon18 - According to the website the orignal Do-luck kit should cost around $10K so thats more than half the cost of most 180sx's. The tail lights can be bought from Nissan. A guy i know has them for sale now for $1100 if you want (Original item not used). They come standard on post 96 (or is it 97') 180sx's an all models TypeX and TypeR. The upgraded model comes with a new front bar, different seats (with the 180sx embroidered) and a few small differences.

looks pretty nice i reckon! but yours won't look exactly like that cos its got the later model tail lights that are similar to skyline lights. Those lights look mad!!
