as per topic title, I have come to realise that my car is missing this temperature switch which screws into the driver side of the radiator (next to the lower radiator hose). I've always had a dangling electric wire with green plug coming from next to the driver side headlight, I guess this plugs into the temperature sensor? what is the purpose of this sensor? where can I get a replacement (if indeed a replacement is recommended) thanks in advance for any help

Ok a bit confused here. I had my alloy radiator fitted several months ago and I didn't need any washers. In fact, there was nothing connected to the radiator other than top and bottom hoses. weren't any holes in the new rad either for a temp sensor to slide into. anyone care to shed some light? also, car takes a VERY long time to warm up in the morning. temp hits normal after a good 5km of driving, so about 15 minutes. is this normal? i have a nismo cap on it (1.3 bar).

Hey thanks for all the replies everyone I went to supacheap and the cheapest (only) trolley jack they had was for $180. A bit more than I was expecting... also, does anyone know what size washer is needed for the air bleed valve near the intake manifold? the manual doesn't mention a size, just that it should be replaced.
