  1. just that since I put the fmic on I can't get the bonnet to sit properly and the bracket just broke. so I want to have it sitting flat in place with the pins on each end of the bonnet and will put them on with the new catch
  2. does anyone have any suggestions of where to get them and who to fit them in the penrith blacktown area, and the approx cost. also I have heard there are 2 different types, the old ones with pull out pins and the newer ones with lock down screw driver bits. cheers mark:)
  3. Just in case anyone wanted to know, I rang DBA the other day as I am looking for new discs. They gave me the part numbers for the new 4000 series disc. is just a slotted rotor that fits straight on for the R32 GTST. Front 4099 SL & SR Rear 4098 SL & SR cheers mark
  4. I would love to do that on my car (R32 GTST) but how the hell do you get the dash off? I know how to take the centre console off where the steror is but not all around the steering wheel
  5. I think my quickest lap time was, *1:29* or something like that. everytime I went out I just couldn't help kicking it out on the corners! the GTR was quick, but that red S15 was soooo nice. I want one. problem with his clutch though.
  6. I think he is doing good things for the modified car scene, and I think we should support him, he has had 3 modified GTR's and loves them. He is also starting a mitsubishi race team. can't be all that bad if he loves skylines...
  7. thats kinda hard to forget man, its gonna be friggin cold at 5am when I get up
  8. yeah maybe they were a bit off course in the movie with dialogues, but still its good there lookin at it from our perspective. I am so gonna get bagged out for this, but I think paul walker was actually ok in the 2 movies.
  9. cool. I have everything ready I think *Helmet *wakefield park license *bottle of Nulon Octane booster *passenger to keep me company, and to play photographer for the day anything else?
  10. I personally can't wait for the game. I though the 2 movies were ok. but the only thing that made them worth it though was the cars. the movies weren't all that bad, I can think of worse I have seen, ie things like the blair witch project etc The game looks like it might be good.
  11. alright so leaving at 6:30, where is pheasants nest? sorry guys I am picking dave up just before 5:30am

  16. Now which skyline guys are coming? I need someone to come out on a couple of laps in my car and show me how to drift. last time I had a few tries and worked to some degree, got sideways, but then I lost it 3 times on the big corner before the pits. so hopefully someone will be able to guide me.
  17. can you get an email at skylinesaustralia? I had one that I was using at silviaaustralia.com and now I have lost all my emails cause the site shutdown

  20. So what is the meeting time and where? I am a really lost person when it comes to time and dates, so are we meeting at the servo at 6:10am for breakfast or leaving at 6:10am
  21. My first car was a 1979 Toyota Carolla SE. the thing went hard at first, but when you had to have 2 guys hold you back in the gravel to do a burnout, there is something wrong there. then a ford laser 84 sports, then a nonturbo silvia. and finally the best car, a SKYLINE!
  22. my mate just called me bacck, he got both wheels off the ground and it took him 20 mins to get them on. what a ba5stard, we were there till the early hours this morning playing wth them! oh well. he just took it for a test drive and said it handles a bit better, but he has never had the chance to thrash it out a bit so I will probably notice more of a difference
  23. thanx jim. I am not doing it though, I owe my mate MR180T a huge favour after this, its still at his place. he is going to do it today for me. I have a feeling an all round wheel alignment will be needed after this
  24. I just rang the suspension place and they said the same thing. I am going to try that then. get the wheels off the ground. if not they have given me the number of a mobile mechanic they know who is good and cheap. one of their mates apparently
  25. SWAYBARS ARE AN ABSOLUTE (UNT TO FIT! we started at 6:30 pm last night, backed it up on ramps and the rear one was done without any real hassles. then we put the front one when we had finished the rear which only took an hour to do. I was doing this thing till 1:45am this morning and we couldn't get the bloody castor rods in. they just don't line up. I am calling a suspension place this morning.
