Has anyone performed an automatic transmission oil change yet? I have the nissan j matic oil for the 2003 coupe. What else is required? do they run filters? Are there any gaskets that need to be replaced? Also there is an option either to drain the oil from the transmission or feed it through from the radiator hose to fully flush the system until clean oil is visible when disembarking the pipe. What method have you guys used? Regards

I was on the phone to Nissan today for about 20minutes and wasn't successful with the range of part numbers that i provided. Does anyone have any clue as to what part number i should quote for the micro cabin filter. Cheers

My car is silver, has all the options, very clean inside and outside. Ive seen that white gtr advertised. Top gear believe it is uncool? That is strange because the UK top gear conducted a test on the gtr around their special track beat the ferrari Enzo.

My car has 29,000km's on it, sometimes use the tiptronic when i feel like thrashing it a bit, do you guys recommend using this? Don't know if it is risky using the tiptronic. I actually purchased it from Frank Luxury Performance vehicles same place you bought yours superspit. He is a good bloke and qenuine. I hardly thrash my car, once a blue moon maybe.

coming to think of it superspit touch wood if it is anything bad im with 24/7 are you based in sydney? Who did you take your car to for that? In 24/7's instruction book it states that you have to send the coupon every time you service the car with in 30days dated on the invoice. I haven't done that but i will just send in my service history for their records.

I have been experiencing symptoms of like a grinding/clacking/knocking noise coming from the engine bay, but it only occurs when going up a hill on load at around about 2000rpm and in 3rd gear. I told my mechanic and he suspects without properly diagnosing it that it could be a fuel detonation problem. Is anyone experiencing this rattle sound? My mechanic recommends using a different brand of fuel like BP instead of Shell. Has anyone experienced this noise? Cheers

Is ethanol safe to use on our V35's? I was thinking of v power racing with 5% ethanol, is it healthy or should i avoid it?

Hi guys, I was driving the other day and mis judged the curb as i was turning into a street, scratched my back left wheel. The scratch is not on the spoke but on the edge where the tyre meets the wheel. To describe it : Paper thin scuffed. Where do i get things like this repaired? Some people say panel shops and others wheel shops? I have the 18 inch factory wheels. cheers

That fuel door problem you are refurring to is what they call a fuel door actuator. As someone mentioned before it is a plastic bolt which locks the fuel door. If you remove the boot trimming near the fuel door you will see a plastic box. This is what can go faulty. Replacement of this costs around $70US. Talk to River Side Infiniti in California, send them an email and they will send you a paypal invoice, very quick and efficient.

I spoke to Jason a few days ago, he isn't leaving. Also you might not notice this but i did. The third brake light located on the parcel shelf sometimes dims and it is sometimes brighter. They are a common problem in the 03, 04 models. Anyway i took the light out, very simple all you have to do is push forward on the back of the housing then up and out. 2 screws to remove the bar of LED's. Anyway i took the bar of 6 LED'S out and hooked it up to car. I noticed that one of the resistors wasn't welded onto the circuit board properly. Very easy guys you will see that something is loose when you tap it. Just letting you know because that bar of LED's is around $150 shipped.

Thanks for your help. How about these ones i found on Ebay. Brand new but from an infiniti dealer specifically for the G35 coupe. Or would you recommend a 350Z motor instead?

My passenger window wouldn't go down today. Turned car off. Went shopping then started up window went down????? Is this a motor problem. If so where do you get the motors from or one's that are similar. Cheers
