  1. Yeah I did work for clipsal, but now for AI Automotive, as I lost my job at clipsal in January when I finished my apprenticeship... just after a big downsizing in nov / dec last year. AI do some work clipsal out-sourced, so thats how I ended up at AI. Because we also do aftermarket parts and some clipsal work, im hoping I can manage to work through christmas, as I need a few things fixed on the DR now and Im guessing its not going to be cheap (power steering, coilovers [still not done after many months ], Muffler/exhuast , New Tyres, Wheel Allignment, Oil Leak, plus any other problems my mechanic can find )... Might get the Front Mount installed aswell while its getting worked on.
  2. Looks good Josh, when I get my exhuast re-done I now want it like yours... and not another big f**k-off cannon You have a rack and pinion steering put into yours yeah?..... would be good to know if it was worth the conversion. We need a DR cruise happening, but I cant think of anyone with a DR on the road at the moment.. ....though my car has started getting vibration through the steering wheel when i hit 80 then goes away around 90.... but im going to have it taken off the road next year when im in China, so it will be ready when im back
  3. .... I guess there is no harm in trying it when im on empty, will have to post if I see any differences (give me a few weeks I dont drive it much )
  4. I like the old rims better aswell... suit the car much better then the new ones
  5. I will try to turn up to this, havnt been on an SAU cruise in awhile.....
  6. Thanks Shane, wont be using V power then and sticking with BP Ultimate. My works the same at the moment slow as anything because holden and ford .... At the begining of the year however I was working 6-7 days a week and I was loving it. Im hoping the rumor of 5 weeks off over christmas doesnt come true, because I'll be in China all of Feb without pay. All my hard work in the begining of the year is cancelling out now thanks for that info Ruby
  7. I thought this was about GT-R drivers? I must be in the wrong thread
  8. What are peoples opinions on V Power that have used it?? Maybe you've used it on your DR shane? ...... P.S when will it be ready
  9. Sorry just read through the thread... I have no probs with you using my car.... dont have any new pics though just the ones you took... You can put me down for a copy either way..
  10. Im in the same boat my company does press work for the automotive industry... it sucks... I want to buy a house next year, Even though I have the deposit money ready I cant financially do anything until Im in a stable job.... hoping I can get in an engineering shop doing work for Defence or Mining so I can have something stable... unlike the Automotive Industy which seems to be on its last legs.
  11. Name:Glenn Age:21 Location: N/E Work: Toolmaker car/mods: 1984 DR30 RS-X / HR31 slotted brakes, 3" Exhuast, coil-overs, Front Mount cooler (still needs to be fitted), Heavy Duty clutch, VG30 turbo, RS-8 Watanabe's. AE92 Holden Nova / bog stock est price spent on car: F$*#all compared to some other interests? cruising, eating, listening to/mixing music, fish
  12. did they actually bring in the speed cameras in the wheelies bins or not? never seen one
  13. Until recently I had an R31 Pintara Wagon, with a ricey cannon and some cefiro rims, as a daily until some scummy Shazza without a license and insurance ran into me... lucky i got a payout in the end. Now I have a Holden Nova / AE92. goes allright for a 1.8 twincam... want to get some red Advan A3A's for it and upgrade the brakes / suspension in the near future.
  14. I just remembered in town a couple of years ago I once saw a marone camry with an r33 bodykit, havnt seen it since. think I've seen that green camry mentioned before around Holden Hill
  15. saw that hyundai coupe... couldnt stop laughing ... 1st thing i thought of was need for speed wannabe... Also seen an abundance of Falcons with some GT/typhoon bodykit and GT stripes.. the money they spend on the kit they could of probally gotten themselves an xr6 which would look better then a riced falcon
  16. I find the biggest snobs are GTS-T drivers... not the GTR drivers mind you I get snobbed by most drivers for driving a DR30
  17. :laughing-smiley-014: took me awhile to work that one out.... let me re-prhase I have a cool looking ''geophagus surinamensis''
  18. I have a 4ft aquarium, i have about 8 Kribensis Chiclids, 2 clown loaches, 2 Bolivian Butterflys, 2 glass catfish, 1 bristlenose catfish, 2 mollies, 4 blue tetra, 4 red tetras, 3 guppies. I also have a pretty cool looking Red Horseface... but I keep that in my parents aquarium so it wont eat my Tetras. Im also going to buy a Ghost Knife soon as they are pretty cool fish. ..... What aquarium shops seem to have the largets range of fish in adelaide?
  19. I personally think cannons look best on the 32 GT-Rs aslong as they arent too big or ricey. Dump pipes (if you mean the muffler with the downturned tip) look phat aswell..., thats the plan for my DR when im back from China next year
  20. I dont know why you guys have had trouble with Shannons.... I was only 20 when I started my policy, had no trouble what so ever... even got a rating 1. and the policy is under my name, my parents arent even on it.. ... only catch the excess is bloody expensive. because of the under 25 and turbo excesses.
  21. sorry to hi-jack but out of curiosity how much did the 1984 RS-X manual, coupe weigh Is 1150KG about right? thats what I allways thought to of believed .... also is it true the 4 door sedan weighed a slight bit less? due to the coupe having alot of re-enforcement in the roof because it was pillarless and was the RS-X C only 85?? or some 84 aswell?
  22. you have the rear passenger electric window switches??? both L/H and R/H side ... I would snap up the Interior aswell but I have the other Red/Black trim
  23. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fs...sx-t234717.html a member has one for sale allready... is a real bargain, if i didnt allready own one I would be buying this one. sometimes DR30s come up for sale, but they tend to be the junky ones, its rare for a good one like this to come on the market and so cheap. I have seen junky ones with no mods going for $10-12,000
  24. is a bargain i think, soo tempting aswell unfortunatly I would get diss-owned if I got another DR30. hopefully this goes to a good home and not some sick flamin mongrel yobbo thats going to thrash it to death.
