theres also $400 odd difference between the push and the pull versions of the clutch, sadly with our dollar dropping 10c against the USD we've lost a bit of leverage. -D

JustJap do -D

+2 Great looking car that -D
-
Thats my general thought... you don't need to drop the cars guts to replace the slave or fit a braided line or the reinforced pedal bracket... After this I need o2 sensors and another tune so its all about priorities -D
-
Well naturally it depends on clamping pressure (which the NPC is marginally heavier), however I have no problem with the feel of the clutch at the moment - if anything its always been rather lightweight, so I'm not about to spend money on stuff that can be done later, with the box in the car. If it becomes an issure, I can replace it at a later date without much hassle. I just don't see the need for it before I know how the new clutch feels. I'd rather spend my money getting my dual synchro, 15,000km r33 s2 box installed, converted from pull to push, nismo reinforced pivot bolt etc etc -D
-
I don't need that. I didn't go for a ceramic clutch. I'm doing under 300kw so Organic was my choice -D
-
Many thanks to Madaz for sourcing and delivering a new NPC clutch... looks the goods, can't wait to chuck it in! -D
-
tps wouldnt kill the throttle, tps is only there for response. if the tps is unplugged you can still run the engine do you have a consult cable? I'd be chucking that on and seeing if there are any ecu error codes... does the car idle OK? -D

Unless u go for adjustable suspension arms, get whiteline adjustable bushes. little bit stronger/long lasting than the nismo brand, are cheaper and can help fine tune the geometry a little more. That said, driftworks have brilliant adjustable arms for r32 gtr's. I'm running their camber arms, which are sweet -D

Incident On Thursday Night Regarding New Turbo Laws
Dohmar replied to SLY333's topic in South Australia
hrm... Glad it turned out for you at least. Cops aren't all bad, and the fact they admitted it without jerking you around the legal system is something to be grateful for. True the inconvenience was just that, but at the end of the day you know know definitively that its a non issue. If it ever happens in future, I'd call up the head office of motor reg and put them onto the officer in question. On the extra-plus side, you weren't defected. Winning! -D -
Not the guy he nearly hit thats for sure. And not me. Guy had no ability to control even just a bit of torque steer, and his ride spewed a tonne of black smoke when it went on boost. Ghetto GTR for a ghetto driver. -D

Spotted, silver gtr with black rear bumper and black front fenders in front of me at hampstead road.. A word of advice...if you feel the urge to show off, don't. Please learn to control your vehicle. You nearly took out the dude in the other lane thanks to the torque steering. Not impressive at all. -D

Not sure about postage but I live close to Pete and he fitted the nistune on my ecu within 2 hours and that included a quick street tune so I could safely get the car to the tuner. Very quick service imho. -D

A regency pawn would no doubt say the class action is shit. Given the 'inference' of our applying the merits of a 'due cause' legal system, while any charges are given they are subject to an appeal. If the charge was given 2-3 years late, it could easily be argued in >any< court that the prosecution is invalid without the right of appeal. This can be considered two ways - if the charge was valid 2 years ago but the writ was not served until now, the appeal time should rightfully start from the time the accused is notified. or The charge was given 2-3 years too late, and if this is true, the statue for prosecution should also be backdated to the date of the charge - this is probably what they're going for, so that is all good, but that law is subject to the presumption that the accused has been notified and given enough time to prepare a legal response. If they have backdated it, and you weren't notified at the date they backdated, then you havent been given the right of reply as it were, and there has been a miscarriage of justice and you're fully entitled to taking it up with the supreme court. Or, if you're currently in a state of litigation, it can contribute to a mistrial. ** I'm not a lawyer. I just know how stuff works . Please see -proper- legal counsel before changing any plans ** -D

Sway Bar Opinions? R32 Gtr.
Dohmar replied to Sportmax's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Website at RHD says 22/27mm swaybars, not sure about links I saw them on RHDJapan - http://www.rhdjapan.com/nismo-s-tune-suspension-system-stabilizer-set-bnr32-bcnr33-bnr34-56105 this is the package they get bundled with the S-Tune shockers as well Here is the standalone set - just need to save some dosh so I can buy them for my Xmas pressie this year heh http://www.rhdjapan.com/nismo-s-tune-stabilizer-kit-pv35-cpv35-bnr32-z33-56139 -D Edit - incidentally I was wrong on the price, thats $750 not including delivery Also - it seems the front and rear nismos are only a 1.2mm increase in diameter - whether they use a solid or hollow bar I dont know, or what grade of metal... not sure of how this all factor in... -
Coilover Suspension Question
Dohmar replied to playboi14's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
The harsh ride is directly related to the springs. Damper is the oscillating you get on a bumpy road (ie if it bounces over bumps rather than absorbing bump). I have the nismo s tune shocks which are brilliant for street use, however in their case the damper adjustment gets softer as you rotate the lug clockwise (not sure if you have the manual for your suspension or know which way to turn it, just thought its worth mentioning). Apexi make quality equipment but many of the JDM brands are biased towards the perfect surface of a race track or japanese roads, which are infinitely superior to our own. That said the S-Tune's are absolutely perfect for aussie roads... I can heartily recommend them to anyone with a streeted vehicle -D -
that engine looks awesome... thumbs up -D

stainless is brittle as hell tho... thats why they only use it for display swords... live blades only run HRC60-65 steel ;\ Maybe its metal fatigue? stainless is cool to bling stuff up but if its the undercarriage who cares what it looks like? mines scraped to buggery in either case -D
