Cheers for the info dangerous I guess next time I should get off my butt and clean my pov engine bay haha... Thanks for the input, and damo your draft template looks awesome, I think if everyone did their own little version of an A3 placard (and yes I'll make mine less verbose ) then it'll look quite nice. Would people actually be interested in framed A3 displays or would you just want to get the A3 and put it under the windshield wipers? Personally I'm going for the framed display, as once its purchased all I have to do is swap the posters in the back over. would look good on a picture stand too -D

got 3rd place in office sweepstakes (completely random draw). got my $5 back and made $2.50 profit. Now to buy the ferraris and helicopter oh wait theres a decimal point and not enough zeros. smeg. -D

i always used to think that it was a shop created by a dyslexic with tourettes until i was told otherwise -D

priuses do mad skidz yo... i hope u can enter it in our SAU burnout comp @ murray bridge lols -D

Nah the printing is cheap Its the professional framing that costs money - this includes a glass front offset from the display itself so it can be re-used at a later date (change the poster in other words) -D

I dunno man, I think there are some there that will want to read the whole lot. Thats why its separated into paragraphs : P1+2 = Stock Specifications P3 = Modlist Some folks are anal about numbers - those that dont understand it will skip it, but those that do will probably like it... I did intend to have this printed A3 size and framed for the riverland show but ended up running out of time - got more stuff happening in the next 2 months anyhow so I'm not fussed as I would have had to reprint it anyhow... costs around $120 for professional printing and framing, cheaper if you want to skip quality or cut corners -D

already brainstorming damo i have a decent template already tho its pretty damn big (uber hi-res PSD) preview is here Won't work for all cars but it'd be nice to see all GTR's with the same template and GTST's etc with a similar design - that said I'm no gfx guy, I'd be keen on what u can come up with damo -D

Hi David I think I might have spoken to you that night, I'm not sure Thanks for clarifying all this for us all. I feel this has been blown a little out of proportion cause our comments were mostly tongue in cheek after overhearing comments had thru the day and gala night. I was one of the many that had tabs on the holden club cause each and every car they had was pristine, from the interior, exterior, under bonnet and undercarriage... we were mostly puzzled how those cats didnt win Our display is comprised of 100% street cars, the majority of which are dailies. We don't bother with the undercarriage detailing, and in the most case we ignore the engine bay, but we take pride especially in our interiors, exterior displays and boot installs (and sound systems) I cant speak for the others, but to hear you say that we are serious contenders is very flattering considering the caliber of the cars that attend the riverland display, from Holdens to 300's to all the american muscle that we are very fortunate to see - not to mention euro exotics! I can guarantee that next year we are going to have a kick arse display, and maybe we can get together with the 300 crew and display our rides, side by side as a united nissan tribute - and the obligatory sausage sizzle! While there are some prizes that reward with cash, we're not like that. We want bragging rights But we want to earn it legitimately. Thats why we're already planning next years display Thing is, the crew that I took to Loxton are the sorta cats that go up for cruising and many many many many beverages It was mission successful as far as all were concerned We'll be there next year (in renmark? nice town!) with bells on, bigger and louder than ever -Doh (occasional rural sausa show co-ordinator nazi)

different context - i work in IT and they often put pretty girls on the counter to make drooling nerds spend money thing is, i have to get these girls to order bits n pieces, warranty stuff, make appointments, answer phones and what not its very hard training an 18 year old to NOT say 'laik, y'know' n' stuff, omg' repeatedly.... "Carly can you please order a 24 port switch from linksys asap and get it couriered out to "x" asap" "Whats a switch and who is linksys? is he hot?" I dont even think its got to do with nerds being intimidated by hot girls but more simply laziness. after all if someone offered to open doors for you, you'd soon learn to exploit it and so forth. HR managers are dicks. what more can i say. -D EDIT - And then u get instances when U ask for a 24 port switch, and she orders 24 clipsal rj45 sockets *facepalm* or you ask for a single spindle of 50 dvds and she orders 50 spindles *facepalm 2*

the cute ones rarely are. i used to work with a couple hotties. less than a single braincell between the two of them, so they ended up taking shifts... sometimes i'd be talking to this chick and shes just blink at me like a dog thats been shown a card trick i used to swear if i tipped her on her side and tipped a beer in her ear it'd come out the other ear... -D

man if i looked that good without clothing i'd be in love with myself too... yowzers -D

hehe mileage eh.... first year and a half I owned the gtr it had a broken aircon. ended up pissing me off i removed the dash and all the centre console so I could simply get to the door mix actuator motor.... steve posted a guide and I took the unit out and got a mate to fix the dry joints - now it works a chaaaarm... damn the petrol, i'll go without that extra beer in an aussie summer oh yeah and the drivers side aircon vent was plugged and had a 2" gauge instead. A broken gauge at that. yoink. yeah that went asap. and anyone who buys a gtr for the mileage deserves to be lold at -D

are R1R's the semi slicks? I'm running T1R's (have been for 2.5 years) and theyre really good... only considering the goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric as wheels magazine rated it a tad higher than the toyos -D
-
twas indeed a hot car during it getting torched nothing against volksies but fark man, a smoke machine? that shit was wafting to all the other displays and generally making a nuisance of itself -i couldnt see no damn wii cause of the smoke, thats for sure... stank like ozone mixed with anus -D

Cut Speed To Let Our Cyclists Live - The Advertiser
Dohmar replied to MYCEF3's topic in South Australia
thing is, people dont have a problem with your average cyclist commuter - they keep themselves alert, generally stick to the bike lane and obey the laws. its the cadel evans wannabes in their lycra/spandex/body condoms that have the bad attitude and a self of entitlement - those are the fools that ride 3 abreast while having a good old fashioned mothers meeting while riding 40kph in a 60 zone.. its those guys who are truly giving the rest of the cyclists a bad name -D -
that'd be great - i have consult and other generic softwares but only the zx one promises to work with the hicas systems of r32s - curious to see if that is the case -D

Just got Operation Flashpoint : Dragon Rising (was a big fan of the original) Game RULES. Anyone interested in doing 4 man co-op? Remember this game is 1 shot one kill so you'd need headset and mic and a decent connection to ventrillo -D EDIT - Sorry guys, I posted this in the wrong frigging thread. Mods please move to Computer Jargon
