i often get joked about though, things like, oh someone stole ur intercooler john.... haha... i dont really car, when my new engine is in there will be no joking, just embarrasment to all other parties involved....

haha, i always get harassed, but ive had my whole install sitting in the garage for a few days now, and with my new mods i beat a 32 gts-t (standard), standard rexy, and a large number of commodores. its great thinking of leaving the stereo out till my new engine is complete.

alrighty, yeah i wasnt sure if it was working properly or not, and if it was accurate enough to use it to tune the car.

That illegal shiz is not right, as u can have fiberglass body kits, and the bonnet is not a crumpel zone, how is it gonna save u carbon or not in a front end crash....

any body?? help please? cant afford to dyno it yet, i ran outa dollars....

Hi all, I just put an A/F guage in today, and im not sure if its working properly, it seems to fluctuate very rapidly unless under very hard acceleration or when the car first comes to idle. I bought it in the hope that i could tune the car a bit better with my S-AFC but am now vrey confused, do i go by what the guage says under hard acceleration??? Any help much appreciated. never machine polish a black car as this will give u swirl marks, the best way to get rid of them is 2 coats of meguiars swirl remover and then a wet look polish, lots and lots of hours in this as it all needs to be done by hand but it will do the trick sweet. Swirl marks are almost inevitable on a black car but this is the best cure ive found as told by a very experienced detailer.

ummm, ive never done this sorta thing before and i only have an NA skyline, but id love to come try it out, would it be worth putting my stocko mags and tyres back on, as i really cant afford to wreck my good ones. What do i need? and nething else u could tell me that i should know being new to this kind of thing.

my kit was only totally finished on monday, and i cracked the front bar tuesday on my driveway, i could not express my feelings in words at that point in time and it still shlts me that i did it. Oh well back to the shop next week.

its just like body kits, people put them on for looks, i doubt very much there are many of you that have put a body kit on ur street driven line to improve aerodynamics or lighten ur car, a carbon bonnet is next on my list. but the one with fiberglass underneath, 3 k is a bit pricey.

apart from the unroadworthy bit, the filter location is not that bad, with a bit of mech in the front bar it would be even better. Under the filter there is a plastic guard to stop muck from the road and tyre hitting it, and when it rains, water goes everywhere neway, i used to think the same way as u guys but seriously, but if u do and are sensible about it, u wont clean the filter that often and water will almost never be a problem.

Hi all, My parents are planning a trip to Japan to visit a relative and asked me if there were any particular places i would like to visit regarding cars. Can neone help me out, it would be great to see these guys drifting in action and maybe visit a few of the major tuning workshops. my car came with a HKS 2 1/2 inch Super Drager exhaust, the extractors are "Coby" brand, ordered from www.partsco.com in New Zealand i think. I modified the final 2 into 1 section of the extractors to be 2 1/2 inch diameter to match my exhaust system.

cheers dude, im currently shopping for a 3ltr Vl turbo block, but after having talked to a very good mechanic, i have kinda under budgeted but it will still be done may just take a little longer. As it goes i am doing everything properly the first time so i dont have to go rebuilding blown engines as i will not have the cash, as it is i will have to work my arse of just to complete it. Its basically gonna be a Vl Turbo bottom end with the rb25det sump, balanced and shotpeened (is that right?) crank, forged pistons, GTR Head, GTR twin hi-flowed turbos and exaust manifolds with a custom single throttle body plenum and LTX-12 engine management system. Im thinking ill have it completed early next year as i am doing alot of the work myself with the help of a very very good mechanic. Then i have an engine capable of some serious power, so all i have to do is upgrade exaust manifold and turbos for some serious fun. So now i gotta find a good block, the rest of the parts are fairly easy to come by.

the extractors are 4-2-1, made a huge difference definately a good value for money mod.

Glenn did u get a lot more induction noise, my car now sucks like a vaccum cleaner.
