yeah i always get bad fumes in the cabin if sitting in traffic for a while. gives me a saw throat after extended preiods, im assuming its not real good for you.

im not exactly sure if this is what ur talking about but that mechanical noise i assume ur describing is the turbo spooling up. There are very few of us NA boys out there so id say everytime u see/hear a skyline it is most of the time a turbo.

no prbs, just be real carful when taking the needles off, i stuffed my speedo, i took my guages to be calibrated also after i put the el guages in. The speedo is ok just a little slower to respond.

also what comp ratio would this be using?? and could the original drivetrain in a 33 handle this sort of power??

What sort of reliability could i expect out of a 200kw+ atmo rb?? would it be driveable on the street with the cam setup u describe??

Its nice to see ur dad has turbo charged ford. Bout time ford realised what the japs have known for years on how to keep an engine light and still get good power out of it. But the fact is that no one here really cares how fast ur dads car is, i would be prepared to put my car on the line if you or him could keep up with me round Mt Glorious or somewhere similar if i felt like i had something to prove. If u have nothing better to do then to come on a forum and try and stir something or get a reaction u must lead a very boring life, maybe one day daddy will let u drive his car and then u'll have something better to do to fill ur time.

does the series 1 have V V T ???

ummm put the nut back on but dont tighten it, just enough to cover the threads and give it some firm but not stupidly hard taps with a hammer, and if possible get someone to yank on the wheel while doing this. as for ur white face guages i can only think that there must be a loose connection somewhere so just check all the wiring. cheers John

i think whoever told u HKS zorsts where loud has a few things to learn, i have a HKS System and it is not very loud at all, it basically just gives the car a really nice deep note, doesnt drone, and still has all the performance benefits.

Hey all, Just recently my aircon has been stuck on hot, and by hot i mean like it almost burns my face?? neone had this problem or know where to look to fix it? could it be some sort of fuse? or could the valve that lets the coolant run through the heater radiator be stuck open, and if so where abouts is it located?? ne help?? no its thats not really the problem man, every liner ive criven does it, its a little harder to put it into first, try double clutching, it will only work if u get it perfect and it will slip straight in with no problems.

Hi all, Just wondering if neone could tell me what this is or what they think it is. Basically i can only here it at idle and very low in the rev range as its not that loud just irratating (Spelling). Its coming from the engine bay and sounds to me like a leaking exaust manifold but it did it before i got my extractors and now it still does it with the new ones and new gasket, i changed the oil and its still there? someone once told me that its normal for Double Over Head Cam engines to do this but i disagree, the car still runs fine and isnt lacking in power its just really starting to annoy me. Ne Help Much Appreciated. Cheers John

haha yeah i used to race motor cross, and a do a few enduro's but had to sell my bike to buy my car i would love another dirtbike but riding a bike on the road in brisbane is just too dangerous, ive been on the back of my dads bike quite a few times when dick heads have cut him off and the like and its scary shit when all u have is a helmet and a leather jacket seperating u from the road. but dads bike is too big to fit between traffic, its engine is the size of mirages and excels though

yes an NA car does need a certain amount of backpressure but this is already happening through ur headers and the rest of the exaust system, gutting the cat deristricts the exaust a fair bit and is definately a noticable power increase, those extractors where 285 bucks plaus 150 for fitting, the most worth while mod i have done yet.

my install in my avatar cost me 250 bucks with all the work done by myself, when i can afford some better subs ill put the amps on either side of them, at the moment i have 2 different sized amps so i want to wait to get another amp so i have 1 for each sub and put them on either side.

i agree, most of these guys are nuts, like the young guys on sportsbikes who have less experience. Not all but most do insanely stupid speeds in and out of traffic, ride between cars and the rest, and we get stereo typed young hoons and then get done for loud exausts and stereo's and the rest. My dad used to own a harley and i used to be able to hear him coming home 5 mins before he actually got home yet they never get harassed its bullshit, but i guess thats just the way it is.
